Update: 22 Nov, 2021 @ 8:23pm

- Updated to 3.2.
- Added a new civic for Contested Capital empires: "Occupied Homeworld", which gives you a secondary species (the ones you conquered).
- Contested Capital refugees will be generated from their secondary species, if one exists, rather than their primary race. This applies to Occupied Homeworld, Rogue Servitors, and Driven Assimilators.
- Tweaked the Pasceals' traits. If you own Aquatics, the Pasceals will now have the Aquatic and Slow Learners traits.
- Vengeful Refugees now adds Militarist ethic attraction, rather than a general governing ethics attraction.
- Various minor edits, optimizations, and general improvements.

Update: 26 Oct, 2021 @ 10:12pm

- Contested Capital empires are now more likely to have an Advanced Start.
- Fixed the Xir'a system not having icy asteroids.

Update: 29 Sep, 2021 @ 9:45pm

- Updated to 3.1.
- Contested Homeworld is now called Contested Capital.
- Reworked the mod's use of traits and habitability. Now, instead of being tied to planet classes, you give both the parent empire and lost colony a matching Homeworld/Distant Origin trait, respectively. The same applies to Contested Capital/Interstellar Exiles.
- Contested Capital empires can now themselves have a lost homeworld; just give them a Distant Origin trait (and, if you like, a customized parent empire).
- Removed Contested Capital's +10% army damage/morale buff.
- Removed Interstellar Exiles' +10% habitability buff.
- If a Contested Capital or Interstellar Exiles empire exists without a counterpart, one will be randomly generated and spawned (using the same species).
- Added better in-game documentation on how all this stuff works (again).

Update: 25 Jul, 2021 @ 3:02pm

- Major optimization and bugfixing patch!
- Added compatibility with Planetary Diversity's Cenote, Badlands, and Basalt Worlds.
- To prevent subspecies gore, Distant Origin traits will no longer change your climate preference or disappear after game start.
- Multiple Remnants empires can now share a galaxy, so long as they have different climate preferences.
- Added better in-game documentation on how all this stuff works.
- Contested Homeworld/Interstellar Refugees empires will now spawn their counterpart somewhere in the galaxy if no applicable player-spawned one exists.
