Version 1.0.3 - Barbarossa/No Step Back update with small decision and AI improvements (1.11.* Barbarossa compatible)

Content

  • Updated for the newest HoI IV version (1.11.* Barbarossa/No Step Back compatible.)



Balance and fixes
  • Clean up for the descriptor file and the thumbnail image. The thumbnail image has also been changed to a .png-file.

  • Fixed the MNM decisions' AI considerations to take into account the new focuses in the Polish focus tree.

  • Fixed the Counteract Foreign Political Influences decision to properly check for the Communist Pressure idea rather than the Communist Influence idea when removing this. Weird check and effect combinations from this decision should now have been fixed.

Version 1.0.1a - MtG update and slight AI improvements

Features

  • Updated for MtG and HoI IV version 1.6.0. Remember MNM will likely still be compatible with future updates even if it may say it's outdated (beyond 1.6.*).

  • The added AI willingness to remove influences toned down to half (from 10 to 5) if they have any influence ideas on them, due to many being timed (and thus not as important to remove for the AI). Any willingness to remove influences from this and/or from being a subject is also further modified by a factor of 0.5 (halved) if historical mode is activated.

  • Updated description a bit.

  • Updated mod tags, "Fixes" changed to "Balance" now that the game no longer has serious gameplay issues due to endless political influences (with the 1.6.0 update, and partially some earlier updates, Paradox made many of the endless political influences timed). MNM's decisions can still remove timed influences though, so if you want, you still have the option of cutting them short.

Version 1.0.1 - AI improvements

Features

  • Added ai_will_do modifiers to the German Alignment countermeasures for France if they're independent and have gone towards the left with their focuses. This is an extra measure of making sure the AI does not remove the "Communist Refugees" national spirit in the case which it makes the most sense for them to keep it.

  • Added ai_will_do modifiers to the generic influence countermeasures for Poland and Czechoslovakia if they're independent and have gone for their political alignment focuses (which give influence spirits). For Poland this pertains to "Go Right", "Go Left" and the Liberalism focus. For Czechoslovakia it only affects the communist route which at one point gives them political influence for Communism.

  • Reduced the already quite small (additional) chance of AI subject states removing political influences on themselves. This can be both a negative and a positive for their overlords, but it still aims to eventually normalize subject state politics (with them neither opting to directly oppose their overlords, nor opting to be more radical than them, neither of which would make sense).

  • Added a Spanish translation of high quality. See the mod description for credits.



Other
  • Set "Nationalism Extended" as a dependency of this mod, for real this time. The dependencies of mods were apparently meant to be assigned by mod name, not file name. Now the ".mod" file has been updated to account for this.

  • Set "Nationalism Extended" as a dependency of this mod, so this mod should have priority. This shouldn't matter in most cases, as they use the exact same files for this mod's functionality. The main purpose of this is to get this mod to have priority in the case of both mods needing to be updated at once. In such a case this mod would likely be updated first due to its small size, and players of the mods would get the updated MNM functionality as soon as possible.
