This mod is compatible with all future patches unless Paradox does something really drastic. Unfortunately one can only set the patch compatibility for each major update (1.6, 1.7, and so forth). So even though it says it's outdated, it's still perfectly compatible and working as intended. I don't like updates that do nothing myself, so I'll update it if I add something something small in the future. But for now, you can play without any worries. Nevertheless, thanks for informing me :)

Yea, ive been trying to make sure i dont overdo it too much but I think the spot im at is pretty good. the map modding part is going to be the most annoying part but ill work it all out

Right, it's all good then. Go right ahead, but don't overdo it. Depending on how many mods you combine, ensuring compatibility could take quite some time, especially if they include map modding.

Sure lol. For a school project we got to choose something we were interested in and make something from it. I love hoi and so many mods I enjoy aren’t comparable with one another for various reasons, so I set a project up to first ensure comparability of all the mods and then later lightly modify them to work with state additions the decisions other mods add

This mod makes it so much more pleasent cause now instead of the US giving me Communist or fascist influence as Canada (Cause I set the US up that way to give me a challenge) now I have a option to not have to constintly do anti fascist/communist raids which does give you stability but slows me down political power wise and the best part is the AI does it too it always puts a smile on my face when I see someone like Mexico,Bulgaria or some other minor nation counteract foriegn influence which is anoying as hell do deal with.

No problem. I'm almost certain the cooldown starts when you activate the decision too, so in actuality it's reusable less than a year after the actual influence removal part of the decision.

There's a one year cooldown if you've already used it. It should be able to handle "Under US protection" as well once that cooldown is done, as long as you have more than 75% stability.

When I get "US influence" I can get rid of it but after I do, when I get "Under US protection" I can't get rid of it anymore, is it normal ?

Please do. I've put up two new screenshots of the Spanish translation, so there's 2/3 of your work easily accessed. But this time I'll remember to say it, there's no rush, so please take your time. I might not immediately update for small errors either, often I save up fixes, improvements and new additions until there are quite a bit of them, and then I do all the changes at once to be more effective and save some work.

No problem, I was actually going to tell you to not stress about it and take your time, but I forgot it. Whoops. And with work and a needed break from modding, I didn't come back until now anyways. Now as for the translation, it looks very good to me (though my Spanish is pretty basic, so get a better reviewer :p), and uploading it on google docs was a good solution. Even more impressively you understood all the text formatting stuff and neatly weaved it into the new translation, with only the second line break being slightly broken, but I fixed that one.

Now the translation is up in version 1.0.0e, so feel free to play the game with Spanish language on to see it, or just check out the new localisation file if you want to. I've added credits in the language section, and if you want I can make it link to your profile. In short: gracias mi amigo, tu traducción es muy buena :D

You can probably message me when you have the translation about ready, and I'll create a discussion/thread where you can share it. Oh, and in the game files backslash is used for formatting. Though you'll probably only encounter \n which are line breaks, and \" which is used for inserting quotation marks.

Really? Oh well, I guess this can be a lightweight mod with just the decisions to remove foreign influences then, for those who only want that. And if you're willing to help with translations, that's great. Have you done translations before? You can access the mod folder in "Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\394360" where "1410863725" would be this mod. Just go into the localisation folder and copy the file there. If you have Notepad++ or similar you can open said file, and then the stuff you need to translate is within the quotation marks.

I appreciate your effort, but decisions and formables + also gives the option to remove external influences after a certain time. However, if you're looking for someone to translate it into spanish, I could probably help you.

Yeah, about that... Does not having the idea/influence make it so the US can't intervene? I couldn't find the answer from the base game's focus and event files for the US alone. I'm not sure if it's the guarantees, the ideas, some hidden country flags or something else that control this. And if it's the ideas/hidden country flags, do they only need to be on the defender? If anyone knows please tell me.

In any case, I guess it could be considered a bonus for players of minor/mid-sized powers in the Americas. And I guess it's good the stability requirement is high, in case player US wants to intervene :S
