Content:
- Added a new religion: Moriya Shinto
Moriya Shrine has 3 deities and gives:
- 10% increased fire damage dealt
- 10% decreased fire damage taken
- +1 Tolerance for Heretics
- +2% Missionary Strength
The province modifiers of Moriya Shintoistic provinces are the same like the Hakurei counterpart
- New deities for Th Shinto / Hakurei Shinto (Warning: you will have to scroll when the event "New Deity" happens)
- A fully fleshed out mission tree for Forest of Magic

Misc:
- Removed the government reform "Become a Touhou Republic"
(It was just redudant and it basically never had any major benefit over the other reform, which makes you to a republic, so I removed it.)

Flavor:
- TH Shintoism is now renamed to Hakurei Shinto
- The "New Deity" event gives now a tooltip of the bonus a new deity gives you. You will no longer have to remember who buffed which part of your nation!
- Renamed the titles of rulers of a fairy government from "Great Idiot" to "Fairy" and "Master Idiot" to "Grand Fairy"
(If a fairy ever manages to create a kingdom / an empire, then the fairy ruler can't be an idiot anymore)
- The normal estates have now unique names respecting their role in Gensokyo:
Noble -> Youkais
Clerigy -> Shrine Maidens
- Rewrote the name and the description of "Witch Horde"


Balance Changes:
- new Deities for Hakurei Shinto: Hakurei God, Aki SIsters, Junko and Kishin
- Suwako and Kanako are now Deities of Moriya Shinto
- Hakurei God: increases Defensiveness by 10% and Tolerance of the True Faith by 2
- Hecetia: Global Tax Modifier increased from 10% to 20%
- Aki Sisters: increase Production Efficiency by 10% and Stability Cost by -15%
- Junko: increases Discipline by 5% and yearly Army Tradition by 1
- Kishin: increases Naval Moral by 10% and Trade Efficiency by 10%
- Shinki: decreases Technology and Ideas cost by 10%
- Kochiya: increases Missionary Strength 2% and Manpower Recovery Speed by 25%
- Kanako doesn't give any longer Defensivness bonus. Instead she gives now +10 Ship Durability
- Hakurei Shinto has no longer increased missionary strength, but +2 Tolerance to the True Faith and +1 Tolerance to Heretics
(While the current mission tree of Hakurei Realm implies, that Reimu is fanatic in converting people, she is actually quite lazy and concentrates more on the maintenance of her religion. This change should represent better the more tolerant / lazy side of the Hakurei shrine maidens.)
- Moriya Clan, Tengu Realm, Youkai Forest and Kappapolis follow now the Moriya Shinto faith
- The province "Deep Road to Hell" also follows the Moriya Shinto faith
- Hakurei Shrine, Moriya Shrine, Myouren Temple and Divine Spirit Mausoleum are now Religious Center and Holy Sites for their respective religion
- Th Buddhism has now Harmonization instead of Karma
(The reason behind this is, that the bringer of gensokyan Buddhism, Byakuren Hijiri, is a very tolerant and open person. And the Karma system is just flawed for EU4)
- Th Buddhism: removed the increase of Religious Unity. Instead it gives now 1 yearly Harmony
- Th Taoism has now the Fervor system instead the Karma mechanic
(Th Taoism was brought by Miko, who has her focus more on converting peoplen then harmonizing with their religion. And the Karma system is - like mentioned - just flawed for EU4)
- Th Taoism: removed the increase of Religious Unity. Instead it gives 2 monthly Fervor.
- "The razing and looting Witch" government reform is reworked into the "Witch Doctrine":
- Horde mechanics remain
- +4 Horde Unity
- +25% Cavalry to Infantry Ratio
- +25% Cavalry Combat Ability
- +10% Movement Speed
- -10% Shock Damage received
- -5 Years of Seperatism
(Note: The reason for these changes is, that I want to give the magicians and witches of Gensokyo a new identity ingame. In the past their main feature were their horde system and their 125% Cav armies. While I think the horde mechanic captures the spirit of our little, cleptomanic witch, it did push Alice and the magicians away. It also conflicted with the identity of the Tengus, who also uses cavalry and are more based around cav. To fix this issue I cut the power of the cav buffs in half and made the new horde reform more favourable for other unit compositions. I will observe how this will develop and I will make more changes eventually.)
- Increased the Cavalry to Infantry ratio buff from Tengu Realms Ambitions from 25% to 50%
(Note: I still want to give the player the opportunity to play full cav, so I buffed Tengu Realm to fill this role.)
- Added a new estate interaction with the clerigy: "Change Deity", which allows you to ... well, change your deity

Bug Fix:
- Fixed a bug, which triggered for non-Dharma users the "Nope" event while they have Yukaris Persoanl Shogunate.
- Fixed a bug, which prevented the emperor title of the ruler of a fairy government to show
- Fixed a bug, which prevented Forest of Magic to use the normal estates, if they enacted their horde reform

Content:
- A fleshed out mission tree for Hakurei Realm
- The first Incident is now aviable: the Scarlet Mist Incident. (In the beginning of the game they can be deactivated by the player, if they don't wish to handle with the incidents.)
- 3 generic missions for all gensokyan nations

Blance Changes:
- All normal institution can now spawn in Gensokyo - even Renaissance and Printing Press
- "Break the Barrier" mission doesn't require a explored south chinese province anymore
- Added an event for Hakurei Realm / Moriya Realm which calls them to arms if a gensokyan nations get attacked by a non-gensokyan nation (This event is more a flavor thing, because it rarely happens, that Japan attacks Gensokyo. And if they do, they usually don't achieve much except for conquering one province)

Bugfix:
- Fixed a bug which prevented Flandrish Realm to use the Scarlett Army Reform
- Added some missing localizations for events and fixed some typos
- Fixed a bug which slowed the Institution growth. Now the growth is back to
+1 for 20 dev
+2 for 30 dev
+5 for 40 dev
- The mission "Break the Barrier" and "Discover Europe" are now achievable when you discover any province from the required areas instead of one province per area

Misc:
- Changed the triggered modifiers for holding special provinces in Gensokyo to permanent province modifiers to reduce lags
- Changed all the unit models of gensokyan nations to a more proper style (most nations have now japanese models, Scarlett Realm gets western unit model because of their western representation and Forest of Magic gets manchurian units because... magic)

Bugfix:
- Mughal can now assimilate the Gensokyan culture group
- Flandrish Realm and Hong gain now the Touhou Monarchy reform when they get released via events
- Touhou mod doesn't change 01_government_reforms_monarchies file any longer, which means the compatibility with other mods is increased
(There will be sill conflicts with mods which make changes to Daimyos and the Mughal government)

Misc:
- The tag from Flandrish Realm is now FLR instead of FLN

Content:
- Finished the mission tree of Chireiden (for now)
- Finished the mission tree of Scarlett Realm (also for now)
NOTE: Chireiden and Scarlett Realm are from my point of view finished and won't get any more attention except for occasionaly adding some flavor events. For the next update the focus will lay on the actual main protagonists of touhou series: Reimu and Marisa - or in this case Hakurei Clan and Forest of Magic

- 2 new tag: Flandrish Realm and Hong - both tags you get as marches with unique ideas when you complete the Scarlett mission tree
(Tags: Flandrish Realm: FLN; Hong: HNG)

- Added new events for any nation who takes the Mandate of Heaven from Ming
(NOTE: These events + modifiers are made because some gensokyan nations will get missions to take the mandate. They don't change anything with the basic stuff of the Celestial Empire. So every mod which alter the chinese empire will be still compatible with Touhou Universalis Updated. I also tried to design the events so that the DLC "Mandate of Heaven" is not needed to enjoy - it still recommanded to play it with the DLC though.)

Balance changes:
- The Government Reform "Oni bureaucracy" gives now 10% instead of 5% decreased liberty for subjects

Flavor:
- The senkaien idea "Prince Shotuku" gives now 1 monthly meritocary
(NOTE: Miko was basically the introducer of the meritocratic system, so it's only natural that her realm should get a bonus for meritocracy.)
- New mission icons for Chireiden and Scarlett missions. All Touhou nations with unique missions will get the same treatment of mission icons.
- The touhou religion group can now be harmonizd by any confucianistic nation (and this without any crash!)

Bugfix:
- Province development costs are now dependent from the terrain
- AIs select now their special government reform with Dharma, if they have enough government reform progress
- The mod doesn't alter the event picture files for general event pictures any longer, resulting in better compatibility with mods, which makes unique event pictures.

General:
- Touhou Updated is now updated for patch 1.28.3

Balance changes:
Chireiden:
- Swapped the ideas "Nuclear Energy" and "Subconscious Control"
- Increased the reduced liberty desire through "Subconscious Control" from 2.5 to 15
NOTE:
Satori isn't a person who would fight personally if not really necessary. Instead she uses mind reading abilites to manipulate others to fight her enemies. Thus Chireiden is the "Austria of Gensokyo" and uses mostly diplomacy to let other wage wars. To make this play style more attractive the ideas got swapped and the reduced liberty desire got buffed.
For the AI Chireiden it changes basically nothing because the AI despises making vassals.
- Gensokyo is now an own continent, which allows to build trade companies in China, India and in the Spice Isles
- Added a new trade route from Beijing to Moriya Shrine to make the effect of trade companies in China more worth

Flavor:
- Some gensokyan provinces change their name if a german country controls them.
(NOTE: not all provinces will get a new name and it's only german countries because I personally can only write in german and english names for provinces. When somebody wants to help out please text me on steam.)
- Touhou Religions make now sounds if you start to convert provinces, click on the religion tab or claim the Defender of Faith. Also there will be now a real missionary in a converting province.
- If you play the mod without "Rights of Man" you will get an event which replaces every old, ex-immortal ruler in Gensokyo with a drastically younger version. This should prevent your ruler dying this early in the game. It should be noted that if you activate afterward "Rights of Man" these rulers don't become immortal again.

Bugfixes
- Fixed a bug which caused to lose the restoration of union CB for Scarlet Realm and Chireiden when they fulfill the required mission
- Hakurei's idea "Hakurei festivals" gives now global taxes bonus
- Cirnia, Hakurei- and Moriya clan have for non-Dharma users now their unique government form
- Now only genoskyan nations without unique national ideas get the gensokyan ideas

- new events for japanese nations when they get foot on Gensokyo
- there are now alliances at the beginning of the game

- fixed a missing localization for an unit type
- fixed a bug where the institutions didn't gave bonus for trade companies

Improved features:
- major governments reforms (for example Scarlett Army reform) are now usuable for non-Dharma users at tech 10

Is now compatible with patch 1.28.

New content:
- a new tech group for gensokyan nations (thanks Galadorn for helping)
- a new event which allows the player to switch their deity after about 4 years
- new government reforms
- new government form for Hakurei Clan and Moriya Clan
- new experimental mission tree for Scarlett Realm
depending on feedback there will be more missions tree in this style added
- polished and localized ideas for a majority of nations
- 4 new loading screens

Changes I made:
- Australia and Panama tradenodes are now connected with Gensokyo to make colonizing more appealing

Fixed a visual bug with the religion symbols in provinces
