  • deactivated alerts will now reappear, if they become invalid and valid again after a few days

  • added a side menu to the "Alert Settings" window (openable via the button in the policy window or shift + ctrl + right-clicking on the "available policy" alert) to deactivate/activate alerts, so that you can now reactivate alerts when you deactivated them

  • added alert settings for "available policy" alert
    • can be accessed via shift + ctrl + right-clicking the alert or via the policy window
    • allows to select/deselect specific alerts for which the alert should pop up

  • added a game rule to allow/disallow (default disallow) formable nations added by this mod
    • added one formable nation: Macedonian Empire (formable by Greece)
    • added national ideas for the Macedonian Empire

  • fixed mods starting in 1935 being handled as WW1 mods
  • fixed GUI being broken with the Apres Moi Le Deluge mod
    • the mod was designed for the vanilla game however, so idea names and descriptions might not make sense and all in all performance of this mod with those mods was not tested much

  • changed how dismissed alerts are added back
    • if a dismissed alert is still valid, it will be added back if the idea window is opened or when clicking the "dismissed alerts" button on the right side of the screen, and not automatically after 31 days anymore
  • added an alert for being able to swap national ideas

  • added descriptions for national ideas of the following sets (special thanks to Maxwell & Ismail and thanks to Silver Knight of Anor Londo):
    • Soviet Ideas
    • Chinese Warlord Ideas

  • added one new national idea group: Imperial Chinese Ideas
    • available for Manchu, Qing (if playing with Hearts of Iron IV: The Great War) as well as the QIN_formable cosmetic tag (used by some mods)
      • if you are in an on-going save and fulfil the requirements, right click on your flag in the ideas window and click the button to swap your ideas (left button)

  • tweaked effects of two ideas
    • 5th idea of Defensive Ideas now gives +15% Construction Speed for land and coastal forts instead of +10%
    • 2nd idea of Trade Ideas now gives -10% Resources to Market instead of -5%

  • added descriptions for national ideas of the following sets (special thanks to Maxwell & Ismail and thanks to Silver Knight of Anor Londo):
    • American Ideas
    • British Ideas
    • Spanish Ideas
    • Chinese People's Ideas

  • ideas and policies that affect individual starting skills of leaders (e.g. attack) now also affect already existing leaders (does not apply in save games if you already unlocked the ideas/have the policies active)

  • added a game rule to change base idea cost (options are 50, 100, 150 and 200 PP)

    • those groups will only be available when starting a new save game, if you want to have them in an on-going save you have to trigger the eu4_like_ideas_events.1000 event via console
  • added 19 policies for the new idea groups

  • now 21 ideas instead of 35 are required to complete national ideas (for on-going saves this doesn't make you complete national ideas if you have 21 ideas, but it reduces required ideas for the next national idea from 5 to 3)
  • removing an idea group now restores 1/2 of your current idea cost in PP instead of plain 50
  • fixed AI not removing policies when they should
  • the policy that makes you gain leaders of annexed countries now also gives them a trait for 90 days reducing their skill, experience gain and making them unable to use their abilities

  • added a new game rule to control the AI usage of ideas
    • options are: Enable (AI uses ideas), Only Majors (only Majors use ideas), Only Minors (only non-Majors use ideas), Disable (no AI country uses ideas)
  • added a new game rule to give AI reduced PP cost for Trade Law, Political Advisors, Research & Production and Military Staff slots in the political tab
    • options are: None, -5%, -10%, -15%, -20%, -25%, -30%, -35%, -40%, -45%, -50%
    • This rule is thought to give the AI some buffs to allow them to spend their PP not only on ideas, but also on the mentioned slots. However, this may result in them ignoring ideas until they have filled those slots.
