Update: 31 Jan, 2021 @ 2:33pm

Patch Notes for SvS Vol.2 v1.0.0

Summary:
Boats... can be created by (almost) anyone... but floating boats... are a bit more difficult. How about boats that float and move (on the spot) with the waves of the water and rock slightly? Doesn't that exist? Oh yes...! They do now!
And with that, SvS Vol. 2 is now officially released... (as if you weren't already using it... :P)

Notes on the boats and floating things:
Whether an item that is supposed to float really floats on the surface of the water or not depends largely on the environment and whether/how a so-called WaterVolume has been set there by the developers. In principle, it should work everywhere, but the Mitra Oasis is kind of a bitch about it.

If you "aim" at a place when placing the boat, it is built in a straight line to the mouse pointer on the ground and from there vertically upwards. Make sure that especially the big boats are aligned halfway "straight".
When testing, it has therefore proved useful to either build from above (hello admins!) and aim downwards as vertically as possible directly next to you. In deeper waters, it is best to dive. The uneven bottom sometimes makes it difficult to place the item more precisely, especially with the big boats. If you can swim, you have a clear advantage here!
SAW repositioning works to some extent, depending on where/how the WaterVolumes are set. In general, repositioning can only be done within a certain framework. Due to the shift (to the water surface), you may not be able to move the boat higher, but at least deeper. Movements to the left/right should work. Rotations are possible, BUT ... then you must not set the boat in swimming motion. This will reset any rotation you have made with SAW.
In the circle menu you will now see two new buttons: One for "FLOAT", with which you can activate the swimming movement per object, and "NO FLOAT", with which you can switch off the swimming movement.
(Remember: the swimming movement and the SAW rotation are mutually exclusive!)
You can also build all floating objects on land and activate the swimming movement here as well. This should work together with the waterplanes. I have to confess to my shame: I have not tested this.

To the admins:
The swimming movements are calculated dynamically, but not on the server, but on the client. The default setting is that swimming movements are OFF, so that weaker clients can also place items without any problems. As always, please do not place a large number of floating items in a pile, as this could lead to lag for weaker clients. As I said, the server doesn't mind at all.
The big boats are optimised, especially in terms of collision (thanks to Shupaa at this point). So there shouldn't be any particular lags there.

Everyone:
Since the server does NOT calculate the floating movements, but the object is static for it, you should avoid building anything on these floating things as long as you have set the floating movement to "FLOAT" (i.e. it is active). I do not guarantee for any losses, even if a test-built chair in the DevKit survived a restart with floating motion without any problems. Nevertheless, don't say I didn't warn you!

FIXES:
FIX: Book Pedestal - reworked placement checkbox transform
FIX: Book Pedestal (is now available correctly in the feat SvS2 Woodworker)
FIX: Master Shrine (civic) - reworked placement checkbox transform
FIX: Stonetable - reworked placement checkbox transform
FIX: Feat SvS2 Woodworker to be learnable again (removed falsely set "prerequisite feat")

CHANGES:
CHANGE: Pedestals 01-04
+ Pedestals 01-04 are no longer being sizeable via SAW, instead there are new versions now; the "old" versions are smallest sized, thus current built things on top might be destroyed while server boots (!!)
+ Renamed Pedestals 01-04: added abbreviations for sizes (S= Small = 0.2, M = Middle = 0.6, L = Large = 0.8, XL = Extra Large = 1.0; prior we had sizes from 0.2; 0.4, 0.6, 0.8 and 1.0, size 0.4 is not added. I guess that size won't be used that often)
+ Pedestals 01-04 will be craftable on the stonemasons bench correctly now as intended (prior was Savage Craft)
CHANGE: SAW icon should be only visible for owner and clanmembers now, not for everyone.
CHANGE: Deleting internal table entries for DNU items

NEW Stuff:
NEW: Pedestals 01-04 in S, M, L, XL each
NEW: Nordic Big Ship - Feat: Woodworker
NEW: Nordic Big Ship Sail - Feat: Woodworker

NEW: Barrel 01-03 (swim) - Feat: Woodworker

Patch Notes SvS Vol.2 v0.1.52
Summary: Recompiled Boat Rock Blueprint (and all that used the same material) to exclude the risk that there are some odd references cooked inside the mod to make that Boat Rock appear as "Unknown Object".
If this problem persists (why-ever) then please report it to me asap. Then we got a problem, Houston...

Update: 22 Jan, 2021 @ 7:30am

Patch Notes SvS Vol.2 v0.1.51
Summary:
Summary: Master Shrines, Portals and horrific busts - New content!!
Note: If you encounter blurry textures somewhere, here's a workaround: Try to lower your texture quality within your video settings, accept, and put it immediately back to a higher degree to be able to see textures as fine as intended. Don't forget to accept that settings again.

FIXES:
Not necessary

CHANGES
Internal rename of the sound file for cat's purring (had double prefix in name)

NEW:
NEW: Master shrine (civic) - admin only
NEW: Master shrine (nordic) - admin only
NEW: Master shrine (savage) - admin only
NEW: Boat Rock (Feat: SvS2 Stonemason)
Note
A master shrine is an altar where you can produce the items of any religion (if learned). It virtually replaces all altars from T1 - T3. A priest is not necessary.

NEW: Rune Rock (look alike to Master shrine (nordic)) (Feat: SvS2Stonemason)
NEW: 6 Horror Busts (Feat: SvS2Savage Craft, SAW with 3 colours, 5 sizes)
NEW: 4 Statue Pedestals (Feat: SvS2Savage Craft, SAW with 3 colours, 5 sizes)
NEW: Book pedestal (Feat: SvS2 Woodworker)
NEW: Portal - admin only; only decoration: SAW
Note on Effects: The effects (2)-(6) do not work very well with the purple portal colour due to shading issues which I can not influence. Best to deactivate effects (1) or take those from (7)-(10) here. These could show that flicker on the backside of the portal though.
