It's time for an overhaul! Possibly the biggest Shy Guy update yet! ...But 7.0 is for a later time, perhaps.

General stats:

- Knockback adj decreased (weight increased) 1.5 > 1.4
- Has been given Venom SST’s “hitstun specific air friction” attribute. Normal air friction is the same. Air friction while in hitstun has increased 0.03 > 1.5
It’s notable that these two specific changes have drastically changed how Shy Guy should function. While he’s still very much a lightweight, his survivability has massively increased, and conversely is more susceptible to combos.
- Wave friction increased 0.08 > 0.09
- Wave land adj decreased 1.35 > 1.2

Nspecial (Autobomb): 10 frame hit lockout added
Nspecial (Small Fryguy): When parried, the Small Fryguy will now disappear

The "yes I DID see that..." update!

Hitpause adjusted on most moves, it’s honestly best to just get a feel for it than to list them all off.

Nspecial:
Autobomb knockback increased 7.4 > 8

Fspecial:
Magic Carpet cooldown adjusted. You now have to land on a solid platform that isn’t your own Magic Carpet in before you can spawn another one.

Utilt:
Non-tipper knockback increased 4.4 > 4.8
Non-tipper kb scaling increased 0.2 > 0.3
Tipper kb scaling increased 0.5 > 0.7

Dtilt:
Angle changed 86 > 100
Kb scaling decreased 0.7 > 0.5

Nair:
The rest of Nair’s hitboxes have been given Angle Flipper 10 (I missed them by accident)
Has a final 6th hit now (that I thought was in the game for months, whoops!)

Fair:
Early hit knockback increased 5>6

Getting hit now only has a 1/5 chance of producing the hurt sound effect, instead of it always happening

- The article based move (Small Fryguy) has had its hitboxes set to unbashable. In the future, I plan on adding in proper Bashing to it but I'm currently not sure how it works.

Nspecial:
- Small Fryguy hitbox is now untechable.

Fspecial:
- Effect plays when you spawn a Magic Carpet.
- If Shy Guy is unable to spawn a Magic Carpet, a new failure animation plays.

Dstrong:
- Startup animation changed to include the second frame of the animation. For visual clarity!
- When getting hit on Ostro, an effect showing Ostro looking shocked will play. Poor baby!!!!

New friend update!!

Nspecial:
- New Nspecial ability - Small Fryguy! If you press an attack button before releasing a powerful normal Autobomb shot, - you’ll shoot one of these guys instead! Small Fryguy will bounce along the stage a few times, catching any opponents that come in his way! Each hit deals 2%! Keep in mind though, you can only have one out at a time!
- Visual indicator added to show how close the Autobomb is to Firing. By the first flame, you’re able to shoot a Small Fryguy.
- Normal projectile base kb decreased 8 > 7.4
- Normal projectile base damage decreased 15 > 14
- Releasing Small Fryguy will slightly increase endlag in compensation for being faster to shoot.

Jab:
- Projectile lifetime decreased 25 > 15 (much less range due to this)
- Projectile priority decreased 3 > 1
- Jab 1 base kb increased 3 > 4
- Jab 2 base kb increased 3.5 > 5
- Jab 2 kb scaling increased 0.07 > 0.2
- Endlag reduced by 3 frames
(Applies to Kirby copy ability as well)

Utilt:
- Base hitbox shape changed to rounded rectangle
- Tipper hitbox damage increased 9 > 10
- Tipper hitbox kb scaling increased 0.45 > 0.5

Fair:
- Entirely new hitbox added that lasts 3 frames at the start of the hit. Deals 8 damage and has higher knockback than the rest of the move.

Bair:
- Base kb increased 7.5 > 7.6
- Kb scaling increased 0.6 > 0.8

Uair:

Time for a fresh coat of paint!

Every sprite now has more sharp shading on the cloak and mask! Now we're stylin'!

Because of this, how colors have been handled has changed a little bit. Not much has actually changed beyond the obvious shading update. However, now the ftilt shield changes colors on the Anti Guy, GameBoy, and Retro costumes!

A couple animations have been fixed up too. For instance, Fstrong now has some smear for stylistic flair!

Bugfixed grounded Dspecial sending you to the ground if you try to cancel it on-hit. Now, you can no longer cancel it during hitpause.

Also "bugfixed" the frame after getting hit while on Stilts.

Feri costume made cuter.
