THE BUILDINGS UPDATE

This update adds faction specific buildings as well as two new unique buildings to the game, a slew of bug fixes, faction banners, and a brand new suit of historically correct armor!

UNIQUE to NORWAY
Adds Faction Allegiance, Public Order and Melee Damage - because nothing inspires a viking to fight harder than a good story!

UNIQUE to THE NORMANS
Increases siege holdout time, adds a garrison, adds supplies, and reduces the cost of recruiting new units. When establishing a foothold in England, accept no substitutes.

LONDON ONLY -- and Unique to the Normans
A special landmark with the same attributes as other unique fortresses in Thrones of Britannia.

LONDON ONLY
Building the Abbey of Westminster to the late King Edward the Confessor gives you fame, fortune, and a public order bonus.

UNIQUE to NORTHYMBRELAND
Add an extra tax onto your subjects to help fight the invaders! It also reduces unit cost, but building it increases corruption and has a public order penalty.

UNIQUE to WEST SEAXE
There's nothing the Saxons love more than a good hunt. This building chain gives you agricultural estates, increased movement range, and some extra moral for your happy hunters!

BUGFIXES:
-Norway's invasion fleet of Norse invaders should no longer attack you. They now turn north on arrival and head to raid Scotland - which also gives Scotland an additional challenge at the start.

-Waleis Raiders unit numbers reduced to be the same as other archers - though they still pack a punch!

-Normaund Barons have been re-added as an endgame enemy. As historically there was as rebellion in 1075 against William the Conqueror by his own lords!

This update also adds several models created by Rob'sPet - and the visuals of the Tier 3 Saxon and Norman units represent as close as I believe we will ever see to accurate depictions of the Battle of Hastings. It has been a real pleasure working on this mod, and as far as I'm concerned - it is as complete as I can make it. So thank you for playing it and enjoying hundreds of hours of effort on my part!

NOTE: If you know anyone who can make custom buildings. I'm VERY interested to add a Motte and Bailey to settlements that would work like a Watch Tower. If you'd like to take a crack at it, here's how: https://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?760461-How-to-bring-custom-buildings-in-game

If you find any bugs, post them below and I'll do my best to fix them.

Update: 5 Jun, 2020 @ 10:33am

Infant Mortality has been reduced from 0.5 for baby and 0.25 for early childhood every turn to 0.1 and 0.05 -- this reduces their chances of dying due to the increased number of turns to adulthood.

Update: 18 Feb, 2020 @ 1:16pm

--Norweg now spawns two vassal Norse armies in the Northeast of England. This insures he takes control of the northern map - and that the player must eventually fight the Norse armies in the north.

--A second Denes invasion fleet for the south of England has been added to the endgame, this action was historically threatened in the summer of 1070 but never occurred. Now it does!

Campaign mini-map colors altered for easier readability:
--Cumbria now appears as light green on the mini-map
--Lodainn is Dark Red on the mini-map
--Norweg is charcoal on the minimap

In my own tests Westseaxe survives the Norman invasion - but at the cost of growing Welsh power, and Viking control of the north. But even then it takes around 30 turns to accomplish. Share your own experiences and if one or the other needs a buff - I'll act accordingly.

INVASIONS UPDATE 2.12.2020 -- MAJOR OVERHAUL
--Norway and the Normans now invade with increased strength in the opening turns of the game. The Denes will be the only late game invasion, as historically they launched their own attack in 1069.
--When playing as Norweg (formerly Nordrejar) or the Normans you will have two armies at the game's start. But when these factions are not played by a human, they gain their full late game invasion strength. So if you're playing as Westsaexe get ready to be invaded! Or if you're Norway or the Normans - know the enemy fleet is out there.
--Nordreyjar has been reworked into Norweg, and now sports a unique Viking roster. As historically Haraldr Hardrada was the King of Norway. Nordreyjar will begin as your vassal in Orkney Isles. Your main ally will be Tosti Godwinson and his Northymbre Usurpers who spawn alongside you.
--Several text errors were addressed. And the Normans should have catapults again.
--The faction selection screen has been updated with better maps, and now displays the correct leader names.
