*added reworked icons for users of "Species Diversity" mod in order to make it consistent with the graphical ACG gameplay experience => no effect on any ACG-users who do not use "Species Diversity" mod

*increased basic ship speed in systems by +50% in order to make ships take less time to travel through systems and better compensate for the increased system scaling (x2) compared to vanilla
*decreased ship speed during combat to adjust for the +50% ship speed => so combat speed is unchanged compared to before, but non-combat travel speed is faster now
*decreased base ship speed of transport ships => in order to make it less annoying/time consuming to kill them once they enter battle and spread out and flee combat (because i removed vanilla donut-circling of transport ships and added more realistic ship spread and flee behavior)
*slightly increased Hyperdrive Windup

News: MAJOR AI UPDATE RELEASED
+ 1 New Comp. Patch + 1 New Revert Patch

OVERVIEW OF THE AI ADJUSTMENTS:

1. Already included in ACG
=> better AI choice of ship components, technologies, starbase buildings/modules, ...
=> better AI behavior during wars (affected behavior once a war started)
=> more realistic AI combat behavior (affected behavior during space battles)

2. New Update
=> better/more challenging AI diplomacy behavior (similar to starnet)
=> more aggressive AI i.e. more and faster war declarations when it's reasonable (similar to Starnet)
=> more balanced and even distributions of weapon type preferences for AI empires. so you will see more variation here accompanied by other general AI behavior improvements
=> new compatibility patch for "More AI Personalities" that improves the aggressiveness, weapon type preferences and general behavior of those new personalities in the same way like i did for the vanilla/ACG personalities - i absolutely recommend to use this comp. patch if you want to use "More AI Personalities" together with ACG!
=> new revert patch to Vanilla AI .. if you don't like the new AI and prefer more passive/easy vanilla AI

IMPORTANT:

the whole update will be compatible with Glavius AI mod. I highly recommend to use Glavius AI mod together with ACG. If you use Glavius AI + ACG you will get a mix of more Aggressive Starnet Diplomacy AI (optimized for ACG) combined with better Glavius Economy AI and general ACG specific AI Optimizations.

Regarding save-game compatibility:

In order to get the full AI improvements starting a new game is recommended. BUT you do not have to start a new game at all cost. If you have a nice save-game going on then this update won't break it. You can still continue your save game even with the new improved AI. Although the improvements might take quite some time and might not be fully unleashed during this save game but it still should not cause any issues to you if you continued playing your save game.
