Update - V2.0
  • Added more descriptive pictures to the mod.
  • Changed the name of the mod so it's more content descriptive.
  • Changed content of mod description.
  • Infection rate is triggered yearly:
    • At most 3 pops get infected.
  • Death rate is triggered yearly:
    • At most 2 pops die.
  • Added a choice menu that is presented to only 1 HUMAN PLAYER to determine whether the AI can participate or not:
    • Singleplayer: Only Human empire experiences the disease
    • Multiplayer: Human empire + AI empires OR Multiple Human empires + AI empires
  • The Machine Virus will trigger when 1) >200 organic total pops die and >25 total planets are infected by the organic virus; this will trigger 3 subsequent events presented to each Human Machine Empire. Each event has 3 options, and each player chooses an option. After the 3rd event passes, a resolution follows and through weighted calculations either the event begins or not (this might be buggy, but should work nonetheless). The virus spreads normally as the biological one, and all empires that have robotic pops will be affected. Through random weighting you get the appropriate techs to combat the glitch.
  • Added event where Fallen Empires give random (AI) countries the necessary (machine) virus tech to cure their population in case they suffer heavy casualties.
  • Traits impact how likely it is a pop/bot gets infected/dies (increase/decrease is indicated by +/-

  • Added event where Xenophobe empires have event where infect alien pops get killed by militia
  • Added event where Spiritualist empires have event where x amount of deaths cause great unrest on their planets
  • Added event where Devouring Swarm gets decision to grind its infected pops into nutrients.
  • Added event where Machine Empires sees one of their Machine World blow up when the Glitch reaches point x.
