Update: 10 Feb, 2021 @ 9:29am

Attempted to update the mod. Failed miserably due to attempting to rename the mod to "Improved Husks" instead of "Huskmod" in the files, breaking everything. Sigh.

Update: 4 Jan, 2021 @ 11:10am

Added new monsters:
Mutant Human Husk
Mutant Human Husk Cocoon
Spineling Husk
Orange boy Husk
Psilotoad Husk
Peanut Husk

Non-mutant human husks (including all of the diving suit variants) can now be infected by unstable husk eggs.

Calyxanide now uses 50% of the husk eggs' condition instead of 25% when being crafted. This means one husk egg will let you craft two calyxanides instead of four.

Improved armored mutant husk's ragdoll, it should now feel a lot better to fight against, and the helmet should be more reliably destroyable.

Please let me know if during normal gameplay you manage to encounter both husked and non husked creatures at the same time, as previously it seems that this was impossible.

Update: 11 Nov, 2020 @ 9:07am

Fixed sounds/particles not playing in multiplayer after certain events.

Fixed certain ragdolls causing errors on operating systems other than Windows.

The husk infection will now progress more slowly within humans to give them more time to save themselves, while it will progress a lot more quickly on monsters.

"Recent" diver husks will only turn into "Rusted" diver husks if they stay submerged in water for some time.

Update: 3 Nov, 2020 @ 8:59am

Added custom images for the different husk missions.

Update: 29 Oct, 2020 @ 10:17am

Added new monsters:
Mutant Husk Crawler
Husk Cocoon

Added Husk Mutation affliction. It can be given to certain husked monsters to initiate a transformation process which will eventually turn them into a cocoon monster. Said cocoon will then open to reveal a "new and improved" version of the original monster. Currently only implemented for the crawler.

Added a new sound that plays when a husk mutant is created as to ensure that event doesn't go unnoticed.

Updated Husk Infection affliction, it will now progress faster and kill the victim more quickly when the affliction's strenght reaches 100%.

Updated all husks behavior / attacks. They will always target any monster stronger than them, and in addition, they will no longer tear limbs apart when attacking, as to ensure their enemies can actually turn into husks.

Added Russian localization.

Update: 11 Oct, 2020 @ 8:25am

Tweaked Armored Husk's texture.

The Unstable Husk Eggs now function as extremely powerful husk eggs, allowing you to give most monsters (and your crewmates) a husk infection that's already progressed to 50%.

Update: 10 Oct, 2020 @ 9:40am

Added Mutant Armored husks.
These husks can only be found inside alien ruins and submarine wrecks, they are the result of an unknown reaction within old human husk divers that causes the husk to increase in mass and size, as well as modifying its limbs for new purposes. Such a mutation may be observed first-hand if a diver human husk is left unchecked for too long!

This "armored" husk, as the name implies, is pretty hard to take down, as every part of its body except for its head is resistant to damage. You will need to knock its helmet off to be able to shoot its head, however that requires you to get close to it, which may or may not turn out well for you.

Killing it will always reward you with plenty of husk eggs, and sometimes, you'll be able to find the probable source of its mutation in the first place: a highly active and unstable batch of husk eggs, which you can use to upgrade a normal husk stinger to deal more damage and be able to inflict the husk infection, or sell it for a hefty price.

The normal husk stinger can no longer inflict the husk infection.

Update: 6 Oct, 2020 @ 6:29am

Calyxanide now does damage to the old human husk diver variant.
Updated mudraptor husk and the new human husk diver variants to have black blood.

Update: 3 Oct, 2020 @ 11:23am

Added "old" diver husks.
-This husk is a simple small edit of the original diver husk. It is the "monster" that human husks wearing a diving suit will turn into when they exist for some time. Previously they would turn into normal husks, now they will turn into this new version, which has a slightly edited texture so you can tell husks and old husks that originated from human husks apart.
