balance.x is now complete and finalised, with units now functioning as self-counters. This means that unlike Kings & Conquerors where you could rip apart Greek or Celtic factions wholesale with Illyrian units, Swords of the Prophets' counter-faction units work only against their own kind:

Chosen Spearmen - counters Chinese units
Khazar Tudun - counters all low tier Turkic cavalry, use your unique units like Darqan or Avars to hunt them down.
Jarl Cavalry - counters low tier Norse units, bring your own Spearmen to counter them.
Midak - counters Tibetans: useful against enemy Du-Jong and Mud'ng but has an attack penalty versus Sde Dpon.
Datbaran - counters all foot archers (mainly used for suppressing Middle Eastern factions but is still suceptible to melee attacks with war elephants or javelin cavalry.
Berserkers - strong versus foot archers, counter this Norse unit with ranged cav.

Only 2 wonders, and the unit sounds now remain to be done but those are a rather unimportant component. The buildings are being left out, for now, because I wanna do these slowly, to help myself write a modding guide for my minions.

Previous updates:

- Tang Chosen Spearmen was rebalanced and gets an anti-Chinese attack, so keep your Han Spearmen, Southern Levies, Repeating Crossbowman and Imperial Legate as far away form them where possible.
- Suicide Soldiers were unlocked for Srivijaya.

- Insert new animations for Chinese trebuchet.
- JAPANESE: Uji Chief lacks proper melee anim.

WISH LIST:

- Sounds are missing for some buildings and units. Cantonese or Hakka voice acting to replace Mandarin (but is this possible at all???)
- No Yaghnobi or Tibetan voice acting.
- Fix unit icons & help text, we haven't spent much on them.
- Insert tech restrictions, wonders
- Insert Stephanie's suggested balance rules.

- Pecheneg cavalry archers made available to Byzantium and Bulgaria.
- Turks now have more leader names and city names.
- Ranged cavalry has been reassigned (Russians get none, but everyone else gets javelin cavalry or horse archers)
- Elite cavalry archers have been rebalanced as per wiki
- Mercenary clubs (Arabs, Malay jungle) have been rebalanced as per wiki
- More units for Steppe factions.
- War Elephant is now recruitable to Persia
- Tribal Longbowmen can be recruited by Srivijaya and Indians.

All icons are now in- except for ship. A lot of units, too, have been unlocked -- these being mainly merc units. I won't be touching Project 666 frequently until next month.

All land units have received their UI icons. Only primitive ships (war barge, Karve, canoes) have not received them because we don't know how to do them.
