1- Fixed the Miranda having a build queue.

2- Added another hero with a docking point for the Federation.

Update 06.04.25 - Crud, the Miranda build queue is still there. Even though I really don't see how (aaargh!) I'll fix it, because I totally like to use them and then I can't see the real ones I need in the list becasue it's full of useless Mirandas!.

Update 1.3:

1- Fixed the Federation AI, but the CPUs needs to have at least one Hiigaran player for their AI to work. I fixed this problem in Goliath, and I checked the cause in this one, but it’s being caused by something else. And I can’t find it! So, I added a bright pink reminder in the game setup screen, and they only have to be alive at the start of the game. So, if all of the Hiigarans get killed them the game should still work. I’ll keep looking for it.

2- Put in the old Miranda model without all of the extra stuff on it, because I think it looks better.

3- A bunch of tweaks to the Fed AI to make them fight better.

4- The Constellation has two forward torpedoes now, and they cost a little bit more. Otherwise it wasn’t really worth it to make them.

Update 1.2:

1- Beefed up the Federation AI a little.

2- Added some more voices to let you know when Star Trek ships get built. This was kind of a pain in the butt to put in, but they should have more chatter now too! 'This is a cake walk.' haha, it's so dumb. But that's actually how Makaan became the Sajuk Kahr - by winning a cake walk and a potato sack race. =D

Update 1.1:

I updated Goliath a couple times without doing this one, and I totally lost track of everything – haha. If I’m smart, I’ll update them at the same time from now on.

1. Heroes for team Star Trek! I was going to try to find a bunch of cool stuff in Star Trek lore, but now I’m just going to make some stuff up. (So, don’t kill me, Star Trek nerds :b) Some of our favorites might show up as I make the higher Hero Levels though! ;-D

2. Centaurs are corvettes now. The Federation was too short on anti-strike craft stuff, and if you used all your frigate slots on Centaurs, you ran out of firepower against the HW guys late in the game. So now you have to choose between air defense and bombers, which is probably going to play better because you could switch over to Spectres after you get a Grendal or get some SDH defenses set up.

3. Fixed a bunch of little stuff that you probably didn’t even notice, but sadly for me, I’m an obsessive perfectionist. =b

4. Changed the sound scripts to act more like Homeworld, but there are some pretty important ones that haven’t been set up yet, like ship build notifications. I’ll keep adding them in. Did you notice that I’m using some AI voices now? They’re totally cool, right?

5. Oh right, Boss Fights work the same as in Goliath now!

Update 1.0:

1. Fixed the bug that was causing the Mars map to crash. (Hey, my mods have better support than the actual game, right? haha)

2. Added the Doomsday Device and Armageddon Engine.

3. Added Heroes, but The Federation doesn’t have any yet, so the default is set to ‘no’. I have to have a good think about who’s gonna make it in, because the Star Trek heroes have to be AWESOME, right? But the first one is a destroyer for the Homeworld guys… which would be about a frigate for The Federation… it has to be Kahn, right? But he also has to be a higher level so he can clean house. It’s a conundrum! Maybe I need to read some ST novels or something like that to get my nerd-level up. I really like Star Trek, but I only really know the first two series and all the movies. There aren’t really that many other federation ships in there, if I remember right.

4. Instead of the HW guys starting with a battlecruiser if the Federation Flagship has weapons, they start with a Heavy Mothership instead. (That’s a mothership with a lot of firepower) So it should be about even.

5. The Static Defense Hardpoints should spawn right in front of the ship that’s building them now to make placement easier, so you don’t have to waste their move.

16.12.2024 - I just saw the heroes aren't working - crud! I'm gonna add a few more Level 1 Heroes to Goliath, and then I'll updatte them at the same time.

Update 0.9:

1. Fixed some issues so that the Homeworld factions fight better against the Star Trek ships.

2. Added the Oberth Scout mkII, an upgraded scout ship that can see cloaked ships.

3. The Grendel fights better and has Gorn voices now! (The voices still get mixed up in big games sometimes, but I would have to redo the whole script to fix it, and I still don’t know if that would really solve the problem because the script would have to be a LOT bigger if I set them up the same way as the capture frigates, whose voices don’t get mixed up. I think we have to accept HWR for what it is in this case. :b )

4. The fast-tracking torpedoes (the blue ones) are faster and the Star Trek strike craft are a little better.

5. Rebalanced everything and made some of the federation upgrades less expensive.

6. Spectres attack subsystems now and are a little better against corvettes.

There’s some other little fixes and minor changes too, but I forget what they all are. lol

Update 0.8:

1. The version still says 0.7 because I forgot to change it. Oops.

2. The AI will try to blast the Specters faster because they’re pretty dangerous.

3. Altered the attack priorities a little bit because the HW guys were fighting like crap against the Federation.

4. Specter tech takes longer and is more expensive to make it harder to rush with them.

5. Constellation’s health is a little bit higher to make them worth the price.

6. There was a mistake that this mod was overwriting a bunch of the updates that made their way into Goliath like stopping the AI from going ape-poop for resource points that are far away. So, this should play pretty much the same as Goliath now.

This version is pretty good I think. The Feds are still a little bit short on anti-strike craft stuff maybe, but that also balances them out a little bit because you have to use up most of your frigate slots on stupid Centaurs. Let me know what you guys think! I feel like I’m the only one playing this thing. (Which is probably totally the case. lol)

Update 0.7:

1. The Constellations were set up to count as two frigates each, which kind of made all the balance testing useless. That’s why I updated it so fast.

2. The CPU boosts for the Federation are reduced by 3% because they were winning all the time in CPU to CPU battles.
