Update 1.3

We are proud to announce a first for Project Artificialis, a specimen that can only be cared for by the most prestigious aquariums. Yes, we are making available the first Rank 12 animal yet, with more to come in the future.

New this Update

Pterygotus grandidentatus, a massive eurypterid that swam the ocean waters of the Silurian and Devonian. While they do not prey on humans, our handlers have discovered they will anticipate feeding and occasionally mistake limbs for food.

That is it for the Silurian, our scientists are hard at work recreating new specimens from the Devonian, an exciting time when fish diversified and our ancestors first clambered onto shore!

Update 1.2

We’ve continued out work exploring the hanging garden ecosystems with a new conodont and have added a new bottom dwelling cephalopod as well!

New this Update

Ozarkodina, a far easier to care for conodont than our previously fabricated specimen. These short lived animals made up the diets of many larger predators, relying on huge, quick breeding population sizes to survive.

Phragmoceras, on the other hand, became highly defensive to survive the Silurian waters, able to pull its delicate body inside its thick shell that acted as a floatation device to keep it at certain heights in the water column.

And that is it for this update, only one more update for the Silurian in which we will be adding a highly sought after specimen to our collection!

Update 1.1

This week, our scientists have discovered an amazing case of symbiotic relationships in prehistory and a window into an ecosystem from the Paleozoic.

New this Update:

Scyphocrinites, a crinoid who could adjust its position in the water column to capture food and also act as a floating habitat for small animals.

Sphooceras, a tiny cephalopod that shed its baby coils, forming a round shell at adulthood. Project Artificialis found these small animals like to feed on parasites off of crinoids, requiring delicate care to fulfill their lifestyle.

As well, this update includes the following features:
*Added tags for terrarium and Megaterrarium
*A few typo fixes
