Update: 11 Jun, 2021 @ 3:47pm

Made compatible with latest patch (1.4.0).

Eased requirements for the selection of characters to perform the fertility ritual with when coming of age in carnal exaltation faiths.

Made some tweaks to some of the mod's additions to the marriage_ai_accept_modifier.

Update: 30 May, 2021 @ 2:31pm

Added game rule that allows a choice between having randoms immortals like before, only the player can have immortal offspring, or no random immortals are born into the world.

Fixed a small localization bug (in the vanilla game) for the child of concubine trait. It now correctly says that the child was 'born to a concubine' instead of 'fathered by a consort.'

Changed the plural of 'Faris' to 'Fursan,' (because Paradox suck at Arabic, and I'm a neurotic person who gets annoyed by little things like that.)

Made it so that opposite sex twins in faiths with the divine marriage tenet or sibling marriage consanguinity doctrine are only allowed to marry, or have relationships, with each other (as long as both are alive).

Update: 21 May, 2021 @ 1:20pm

Some tweaks to the events that give children their personality traits.

Update: 21 May, 2021 @ 6:04am

Bug fix to allow shieldmaidens to fight regardless of religion. (Sorry!)

Update: 17 May, 2021 @ 11:16am

Minor bug fix to one of the events.

Update: 16 May, 2021 @ 1:57pm

Tweaked some numbers and stuff in the childhood personality events.

Update: 12 May, 2021 @ 2:44pm

Changed the numbers allowed for both familiars and companions to be based on the tier of the landed character assigning/granting them. Counts (provided their faith has at least one of the requisite doctrines) can have up to 2 familiars and assign each relative at their court 1 companion. For Dukes it's 4 familiars and 2 companions, for kings 6 and 3, and for emperors 8 and 4.

Children of Familiars, instead of getting the child of concubine/consort traits, now get a similar trait that prevents them from inheriting (though they still belong to the other parents' house and are legitimate in every other way). A landed parent or grandparent of the child can grant them inheritance rights (the trait they got at birth is switched to the normal child of concubine or consort trait) at a cost of 75 prestige.

Minor bug fixes.

Update: 9 May, 2021 @ 1:21pm

Added the ability to grant 'companions' (basically, concubines/consorts) to unlanded close or extended family members at your court, if you have polygamy or concubinage.

Changed the way the childhood trait is assigned so it is not completely random. For example, tribal children are slightly more likely to become rowdy than non-tribals.

Made it so that the childhood trait affects (slightly) the chances for what personality traits a child gains growing up.

Removed the requirement that concubines and familiars are relatives, or of the same dynasty, when you have Divine Marriage. Instead, the divine marriage tenet now makes it so that marriage is only allowed between close or extended family members. The one exception is for landed characters, but only for their primary spouse. In polygamy, the secondary spouses have to be relatives.

Changed the marriage doctrine for the slavic faith to polygamy.

Made it so that having sex with people at the witch coven Grand Rite doesn't make characters lovers (or turn lovers into soulmates).

Made it so that offspring conceived in Carnal Exaltation coming of age fertility rituals become nuns/monks at birth. They can never marry or inherit, but they are covered by the same rules as clergy characters in carnal exaltation faiths. That is, as adults they can openly sleep with other characters without it being considered adultery/fornication or anyone (including the spouses of the people they sleep with) taking offense. These characters are even more likely to gain personality traits that are considered virtues in their religion, and even less likely to gain personality traits that are considered sins, than normal characters.

Made it so that the ability to make characters shieldmaidens (or shieldswains in a female-dominated religion) is there for all tribals with religions that don't have gender-equality. Lowered the prowess requirement to 10. (This all, obviously, only applies if you have the DLC.)

Tweaked numbers for fertility, max children, and mortality. (Trying to keep the number of characters from increasing out of control after a few hundred years.)
