This update includes:

  • The much needed addition of LOD models for all existing block items.
  • Several visual fixes to correct visual anomalies that were being caused by bad UV unwrapping and face direction.
  • Updated all build stages to the construction material for consistency to the game and other mods.
  • Updated decal materials that were phasing into to the models in a few places to clean up the models.

    Note - Block stats have not been balanced with this update, but that change is coming. I didn't include it to give players a chance to ready themselves for the update.

    If there is any issues with this update, please let me know and I will address them as soon as possible.

V2 Compact Core - reduced build time from 150s to 80s
V2 Compact Core - reduced inventory size from 125,000L to 15,000L

V3 Mini Core - reduced build time from 150s to 50s
V3 Mini Core - reduced inventory size from 125,000L to 4,000L

These reductions were made as the older build times and inventory sizes were never changed to more accurate amounts when the items were added

Removed the custom Radial menu which was causing more issues than it's worth.
Mod items will now be found within a Modded radial menu tab at the end of the tabs list. Item groups will be loaded in the order that your mods are loaded,
Ie if a NiteOwl mod is last in line than all item groups will populate in the last Modded Tab.

This decision was made based on the issues that the custom radial menu causes for servers and the issues with the mod crashing games after Dev updates.

This is a small patch to update the mod and match it to the current Dev build after the DLC update

Also included is Collision adjustments due to the recent Collision count reduction. Please keep in mind due to this reduction I had to simplify the Collision hit boxes for some of the larger more complex items. I apologize but not much I can do.

Corrected Collision mesh for the following items:

-Main Reactor MKII LG
-Main Reactor MKII SG
-V1 Power Core

<---------- Cost and Mass Adjustments ---------->

Changes:
Adjusted the component costs to reduce mass/ weight.
The 2 Small Grid cores have significant reductions
The V2 Small Core was reduced by half
The 2 Larger cores have smaller reductions
Changes were made while still attempting to maintain a balance between cost/ size/ mass/ and output capability

These changes should significantly reduce small ship mass while using these reactors

V3 Mini - mass = now 1,885 was 10,550

SG MKII - mass = now 10,040 was 92,770

V2 Small - mass = now 26,266 was 42,170

LG MKII - mass = now 110,704 was 111,700

Core - mass = now 148,560 was 175,630

Update to match the mod to the current Dev build of the game.

Adjusted the cost of all reactors -

Both the LG & SG MKII Reactors cost were increased by 2x - 3x that of the Large Reactor

The Primary Power Core cost was increased anywhere from 5x - 8x that of the Large Reactor depending on the resource item.

Fixed the issue with the Small Grid MKII Reactor not making a positive lock with small conveyor tubes.

Changes:

* Altered the fuel consumption ratio for all reactors in the pack.
Fuel consumption rates are:

LG & SG MKII Reactor - 0.009 a sec/ 0.54 a min/ 32.4 an hr at max output
LG Power Core - 0.03 a sec/ 1.8 a min/ 108 an hr at max output

* Created a separate radial menu for the reactor pack for controller & Xbox users.
* Created a separate reactor group for the Nite Owl reactors in attempt to resolve the missing items issue for Xbox users.
