UPDATE 12

-'The Greeks' changed to 'The Spartans' and fixed some unit and trait descriptions.
-Changed movement points from 250 to 128

UPDATE 11

v1.1:
November 18th 2021

-Four Turns Per Year. Each campaign now progresses by four turns per year. To make the game sync better, it now takes 2x as long to recruit units and construct buildings, excluding the peasant units, they take just 1 turn to recruit.
-Also the farming level of all regions has been reduced by 4x to make the settlements grow a lot slower.
-Rebels can now build up their settlements and armies, and they will do so for the entire campaign. Because they hold onto most or all of the map, their end turns take a bit longer than before. I have added a message on the end turn screen that notifies people about this.
-'The Scythians' changed to 'The Sarmatians'
-'The Germans' changed to 'The Teutons'

UPDATE 10

v1.09:
November 14th 2021

The mod has been ported over to the Mundus Magnus map! But sadly, the game would
act very weird when I was testing out the map scramble mode with the new map.
Therefore I have removed the mode. Also, any safegames that you had before may not work anymore because of this update.

In the Classic mode, some factions now have access to a sea or no longer do,
so those factions have been changed accordingly. All of the characters you start
with still have the same names as in v1.08. For Numidia, the admiral changed roles
to a spy.

In the Hunger Games mode, all factions near form a circle near Campus Siracae.
And in the Classic modes, Heroes no longer have the last name of the settlement
they govern. So now their names are the same in all modes.

UPDATE 9

v1.08:
November 11th 2021

-Added AI personalities from RTR: Imperium Surrectum. This has improved the AI and they are far more agressive now.
-Disasters now happen 4x as often. I feel like they rarely happen in the vanilla game, and feel largely insignificant when they do happen. Now they are a genuine threat.
-Corrected Macedon's army, they now always have 5 units at the start
-Added new win conditions! I have repurposed the Short Campaign and turned it into a new mode, 'Defeat all factions'. This mode requires you to defeat all factions on the map, but you only need to hold onto 15 regions. So you can be creative as to how you want to approach this. But by default, you only need to destroy one faction and hold onto 15 regions.
-Added the mod 'Better Battle AI for 270BC Campaign'. This mod is ported to TWRR by IdillaMZ and Coffemachine, and the original is by Lanjane and other modders.
This mod really improves the formations of the AI to make them more challenging.
-Each Hero now has 5 extra hit points by default, so they are much tougher to beat. This is not their bodyguard, they have 2 hit points like vanilla bodyguards.

UPDATE 8

v1.07:
November 9th 2021

The largest update so far! I've been hard at work creating this update, and I hope you will enjoy it!
A quick summary.. the formula has changed a little. As my mod was not aiming for historical accuracy anyway, I decided to turn it into a fantasy-eque setting by changing the calendar date to 'ANNO'. Also, almost all faction leaders are now based off of historical characters. For Carthage it's Hannibal, for the Scipii it's Scipio, for the Gauls it's Vercingetorix, etc. All of these heroes have unique bonuses, bodyguards (although some are shared among some factions), and portraits. The Heroes are the same for all modes.
If you want your Hero to control cataphracts, that are extremely lethal but slow, choose Arsaces or Seleucus. Or if you want to pick off enemies from a distance, choose Tigranes or Zipoetes.
I have also added some other mods now, like Hotkeys Unlocked by naacal, TWRR Bugfixer, which was ported to TWRR by OldTotalWarrior and the original was by player1, and my Alternate Faction Selection Screen mod.

-Changed the date format to 'ANNO', and each campaign starts at 'ANNO 1'
-Changed faction names as they weren't applicable for all modes
-Added Greek names to Egypt's existing Egyptian names
-Changed the following faction leader names:

"Hanno of Carthage to Hannibal of Carthage"
"Flavius of Arretium to Julius of Arretium"
"Tiberius of Tarentum to Brutus of Tarentum"
"Cornelius of Capua to Scipio of Capua"
"Decius of Rome to Gnaeus of Rome (reference to Pompey)"
"Antiochus of Antioch to Seleucus of Antioch"
"Kleomenes of Sparta to Leonidas of Sparta"
"Antigonos of Thessalonica to Alexander of Thessalonica"
"Sautes of Tylis to Lysimachos of Tylis"
"Brennus of Alesia to Vercingetorix of Alesia"
"Hekhemmut of Alexandria to Ptolemy of Alexandria"
"Barrivendos of Londinium to Lugotorix of Londinium"
"Artaxias of Artaxarta to Tigranes of Artaxarta"

-The faction leaders are now considered 'Heroes'. Each faction leader has their own unique Hero trait, which goes in line with what that character or faction was good at historically. Each Hero also has their 'unique' bodyguard unit, although some are shared among some factions. This bodyguard unit is often a buffed general unit with the maximum amount of soldiers present in that unit, so on the largest unit scale, that's roughly 300 bodyguards belonging to that Hero. In other instances this Hero is based off another unit, like in Scythia's case it's a buffed Noble Archers unit.
-Changed color of the Rebels
-Added TWRR Bugfixer, ported by OldTotalWarrior for TWRR and original by Player1
-Added Hotkeys Unlocked by naacal
-Gave each Hero a unique portrait. This portrait is also shown on the campaign selection screen. Alexander has his own strat model and battle model that
is seen in the Alexander expansion
-Added my Alternate Faction Selection Screen mod, and updated the maps
-Added 'Fantasy', 'Units', 'Map', and 'Traits/Retinues' tags to the mod
-Changed the descriptions of factions. Now you can see which Hero you control, his special perks and starting command, influence, and management. It also tells what
kind of bodyguard that Hero has, like missile cavalry, or melee cavalry.

UPDATE 7

v1.06:
October 30th 2021

-Classic game mode is playable again
-Added the following game modes:
1. Classic - Roman Civil War. This is the Classic game mode but all Roman factions start at war with one-another.
2. Classic - No Rebels. Altered version of the Classic mode with no automatic rebel or pirate spawns.
3. Classic - Total War. All factions start at war with one-another.
-Renamed many game modes. The modes are now split between 'Classic', 'Scattered Spawns' and 'Stage' game modes.
'Classic' modes let you start with one settlement (what would be the faction's capital city in vanilla)
'Scattered Spawns' modes have you start with no settlements at all and instead you start with a general and 4 other units, 1 of these units is of a higher quality that you won't be able to recruit or retrain for a long time in the campaign, so use this unit effectively! And as the name would suggest, the generals spawn scattered around the map, but they are not random each time you start up the campaign.
'Stage' modes have you start with just a general too, but all generals spawn in a close proximity to one-another and all factions start at war with one-another.
-Did some downscaling of certain textures to bring down the size of the mod. v1.05 was +-660 MB, v1.06 is +-300 MB.
-Added some 2D art to the campaign screens.

UPDATE 6

v1.05:
October 24th 2021

-fixed Germania's garrison in Classic game mode, their general's bodyguard was missing
-added a general's bodyguard to each rebel garrison in all modes
