Added 2 new settings, these can be found in Options > Mod options > Vanilla Framework Expanded > Toggable patches.

The first patch "Empire Fortress" disables/enables the Empire Settlement.
The second patch was created on request of a special user, he wanted to toughen the fortress a bit... To give you the possibility to break your teeth on it, I have unlocked the function for everyone.

I am pleased to announce the release of my new, patch for Medieval Overhaul: Royalty (formally Medieval Empire Overhaul).

With this update, I have changed the settlements of the Empire. At the moment, there is one fortress that can be besieged and plundered.

But beware, the fortresses is very well defended! This fortress is more of an endgame target, as you need a large and well-trained army. You should also set up a siege camp to treat wounded soldiers and lure out some of the enemy forces. Legendary MO armor and weapons as well as a random number of raw materials await you as a reward.

Unfortunately, I could not use the Medieval Overhaul loot mechanic as planned, as it still has too many flaws at the moment. As soon as the official MO has been updated, I will add this feature. And when the time comes, I will also create 1-2 new fortresses.

Fixed a bug that could prevent the Empire Faction patch from being activated when using the unofficial MO version.

Furthermore, i have changed the name, as it is technically just a Royalty (DLC) add-on for MO.

A small update that changes the mod-load order so that my mod is loaded after MO Adjustments, fixing the bug caused by MO Adjustment that no settlements are generated.

This update contains:

  • Slight rework of the Empire (Royalty DLC) faction icon on the world map.
  • Adjustment of the Empire faction description. So you can see that it is a medieval faction when you create a game.
  • A revision of the Bestower's appearance, as it was occasionally not displayed as desired.
  • Revising the patch operations to hopefully make this mod more robust against possible changes to the Empire faction. As it could lead to problems if another mod was also editing the Empire Pawns.
  • Minor bug fixes.
  • Updating the new preview image (Many thanks to SirLalaPyon).
