I fixed a few complications with other mods. For example, when using Rimedieval together with this mod, it happened that Janissaries spawned only in plate armor. This should no longer be the case.

With today's update, the pawns have been reworked.

Light and heavy infantry are now equipped with shield and sword and not with two-handed weapons.
In addition, the outfit has been once again reworked a little bit.

You can see the updated units on the mod page, in the showcase.

The death acidifier worn by the Pawns is now called curse of vanishing, but it does exactly the same thing.

Since the newest Medieval Overhaul update removed or changed some of the equipment, I had to adjust the empire pawns a bit.

In the course of this I rewrote pretty much all patch operations, now there should be no empire related pawn spawning with high tech equipment, not even the troop chasing the deserter.

Today's update should have fixed 2 bugs regarding laborers and traders that pop up occasionally, one when pawns spawn, the other when the game starts.

Known Issues
  • Ideology:
    Sometimes the Empire's Ideology includes a visage or some other clothing. If this happens, the Empire pawns will equip those clothings instead of the defined armor. I am working on a solution, but for now I am a bit lost there...
  • Rimedieval Royalty:
    For now, my empire pawns will not use any Rimedieval Royalty gear. I am working on a solution.

When playing with the mod for the first time I noticed a few bugs with the equipment of the Empire pawns, these should have been fixed now.

  • I finally managed to convince the pawns that they should not take into account the seasons.
  • I also gave the paws something decent to wear, they apparently didn't wanted to be naked in their armor. All the paws are now wearing a warm shirt and pants, so they can withstand temperatures of -10°C on average.
    As you can see from the screenshot, not a single pawn with a toque or duster spawned during my sea ice test.

I have released a small update (v211105.1). It mainly fixes the problem that panws with duster and hood spawn in cold seasons.

In addition, the trade were revised (I forgot that in the release version). They are now supposed to have medieval themed goods only. If you miss something, or have another suggestion for their goods, feel free to let me know - if I think it makes sense, I can patch it in next time.
