Update 3 - QoL Update!

What's new...

Balancing:
  • Khnums are now able to use their dodge attacks.

Misc:
  • Secret teleport will not deactivate on use anymore.
  • Optimised script code.

Visual:
  • Updated fonts.

New Features:
  • Added some flavour text at the start of the game!
  • Added a new intro sound cue.

Update 2 - The Re-Mastering, Part Deux.

What's new...

Balancing:
  • Slight enemy balancing. Say goodbye to single-shotting the Scrapjacks!
  • Added more pickables. Again. NO SPOILERS!
  • Added more secrets. NO SPOILERS!

New Features:
  • The environment will now further react to player projectiles (so explosives, grenades etc.), enemy projectiles and enemies (kamikazes etc.). Hope you are ready for some SS3 sand dust flashbacks!

Bug Fixes:
  • Slight adjustments to most things.
  • Once again, adjusted dust particles in the dunes.

Visual:
  • Ray-traced the lighting. Very pretty.
  • Added more environmental set pieces.
  • Added more props.
  • Added more destructibles.

Soundscape:
  • Updated cutscene music.
  • Ambience is a bit quieter.

Misc:
  • General optimizations.
  • In general, added a bit more EVERYTHING. (except for enemies, that balance is just fine in my opinion!)

- Updated all surface materials to support the Sledgehammer and the Sirian Mutilator.
- Updated intro cutscene.
- Updated the enemies to support gibbing with the Sirian Mutilator.
- Sand particles in the Dunes will now spawn more often.
- Improved ambience playing logic.
- Fixed up a few more LODs.
- Scrapjacks are a teeny bit less aggressive.
- More music has been added in.

Major improvements in visual and environment fidelity!

- Improved the main terrain border looking really fugly. Muuch better now.
- Further improved atmospherics properties.
- Re-baked and updated GI settings.
- Fixed a few lightmaps.
- Trees and plants now react to wind.
- Added in multiple particle effects.
- Sand now has a cool animated sand texture!
- Fixed a few LODs.
