Quality of life change, when Lilac says one of her voicelines during idle animation, that voiceline will no longer play for the rest of the duration that you remain in idle.

(I basically didn't know this was something that Freedom Planet 2 actually did until I heard the developer mention it)

This is the 'I actually played the sequel so lets update her based on that' update.

New feature added, Boost Clash. Exclusive to Dittos, if two Lilacs Dragon Boost into each other they will now momentarily clash before exiting. Directly inspired by an actual mechanic in Freedom Planet 2. This feature only works with horizontal boosts and might not work sometimes, especially in the air, but is guaranteed to work on the ground.

Added new sound effects for Merga alt, the Dragon Boost sound effects have been changed to Merga's specific ones and the Boost Breaker on this alt is pink instead of blue.

Altered the sparkle effects for FP2 Lilac, Merga and Trans Rights alts so that they don't get recoloured by shaders.
If Dragon Boosting at an angle these sparkles will now be rotated at an angle.
Sparkle effects will actually move properly in dittos and not be exaggerated by other Lilacs.

Lilac's FP2 voicelines now have a dodge taunt voiceline counterpart to go along with the FP1 one.
Changed the voice quote for winning really quickly with FP2 voicelines on.

Change Notes in mod have been reduced to only Version 4 ones for loading times sake.

The "How to Fly your Dragon" discussion thread will be updated with the Boost Clash information.

Fixed Springs bouncing on fallthroughs if they land on the edge of platforms.

Rune H replaced, instead of giving Dragon Boost elemental effects with Shields on it now instead makes the boost travel 10 frames longer.

Added Wily Castle compatibility.
Added Neutralizing Gas compatibility, Lilac cannot Star Mark opponents or use Cyclone while neutralized.
Added Dialogue Buddy interaction with Vegeta.

Added additional voicelines on the Character Select screen if Lilac is left idle on it for an extended period of time.

FP2 Lilac voice now has a different win quote if you manage to win a match in under 60 seconds.

Added Dream Nail compatibility support.

New feature, if playing on the "Shenlin Park" stage by ATalksToSelf, on the Basic version Lilac can now sit on the bench on the stage. Press Down+Taunt next to the bench to sit on it.

Bug fix, the Spring no longer gets pushed upwards if used right against a wall.

Re-organised the code for some compatibility and easter egg features in order to get it to run better.

Altered behaviour of springs to stop other Lilacs from spawning springs while bouncing off a spring that isn't originally theirs.
Fixed erratic behaviours when bouncing off the side of a spring with a Dragon Boost, allowing the move's natural behaviour to take hold as if it were an actual wall.
Moved the launching spot of the spring 10 pixels higher to ensure that the player hits the top of the spring in order to be launched.
This also means that there is now more spring that Lilac can bounce off with a Dragon Boost.
Removed the hit effect on springs when bouncing on them.
Made wall jump Dragon Boost cancels on springs immune to the springs to avoid being launched in the middle of them.
Redrawn the spring effect to be more accurate to Freedom Planet as well as looking a bit nicer.
Fixed a bug where springs could get stuck in walls.
Midair springs will now solidly land on platforms instead of getting stuck in them.
Springs can now launch opponents twice as sooner as they could before. Altered animation timings in line with the new animation.

Altered the sound timings of the Freedom Planet 2 sound effects so that they play when they should do on those alts (FP2 Lilac and Merga alts)

Updated the config info to be more accurate to the character's mechanics.

Fixed HUD jitter
Fixed shader alts recolouring the eyes on the portrait.
Fixed alts being recoloured to default after using a Dragon Boost
Changed Amy alt colours slightly

Nerfs:

Pretty major nerf this one, Dragon Boost active time 35 frames to 30 frames. This is because with the USpec nerf it was a better vertical recovery move than USpec so now it travels roughly the same distance. Goodby being able to fly to the top of the screen from ground.
Meter depletion has been adjusted to account for this.

Buffs:

As compensation for this distance nerf Lilac can now regain her Boost quicker by hitting enemies with a star mark with Dair, UStrong or DSpecial.

Year of the Dragon update:

Brand new portrait courtesy of Firehead Engine (who also did the Dracula versions).
Brand new victory themes commissioned by BobTheGuyyy
New Bighurt animation.
Gone over entire character's sprites and tried to tidy them up a bit in terms of detail by making the lop more pronounced, the horns a more consistent shape across the sprites and the tracksuit not having the outlines of the belt and the vase clash for a more visible outline.
Moved Lilac's hand in idle and other poses to behind the body instead of in front.
Adjusted shading to make the blue outfit brighter.
Lilac's gemstone hearing aids are brighter overall and have a white glint on them to make them appear shiny... like gemstones!
Added an extra frame of animation to the intro to smooth transition into battle.
Adjusted intro so that multiple Lilac's don't have a sound clash and that they all boost onto the stage at different times.
Adjusted the poses on a bunch of other sprites and tweaked frame count for slightly better animation.

Moveset reshuffled, Pangu Shield is gone from the regular moveset and Cyclone has been changed to be the new DSpecial. This means that you can also perform it on the ground instead.
Cyclone spins faster in animation but the number of hits are still the same.
She now only has one Neutral Special as a result meaning you can fire projectiles in midair.
New DStrong, a double cross hair slash which replaces the Grounded Cyclone. Seeing as Lilac can now do DSpecial on the ground as Cyclone, changing this to something new was more effective.
The New DStrong inherits stats of the final Cyclone hit but the Angles have been adjusted to be outward ones at 130 and 50.
UAir completely reanimated and given a much bigger range. In light of this, the move has been nerfed in stats to do 7 damage and have a 12 frame startup with 19 frames of endlag.
Landing Lag on UAir is now 8 instead.
In light of the redesigned kit the HUD has been adjusted to remove the shield dice if you don't have shields.

Major nerf to USpecial, Vspeed -20 -> -17. -20 was way too good and the new distance allows the spring to be better used as a piece of stage control.
USpecial now has an function with marking, marked opponents will be launched higher (-19 speed).

Anti-cheapie mode remains in the mod, replacing Grounded Cyclone as DSpecial. If Rune D is equipped then shields are DSpec again.
Rune O, aka Ultra Instinct mode has received several enhancements and bug fixes to ensure all sounds are played and Dash Speed is no longer reset.
Lilac's base dash speed in Rune B is now higher than normal (11)

Revised certain Dialogue Buddy interactions including actually working properly with Neera now.
Added Ridley, Garchomp and Crest to the Dialogue Buddy interactions.
Revised the colours of the Carol, Milla, Torque and Neera alts.
Pokemon held items that boost speed will now properly enhance Lilac's speed if appropriate instead of them being reset.
Fixed bug where Lilac would have four hair tendrils during her enhanced dash animation.

Added death animation based on Freedom Planet 1, Lilac will burst into feathers on death
Victory screen has an extra flourish for the Stage Clear banner.

Fixed Cappy compatibility showing Lilac Mario being twice the size as this wasn't shrunk when the character was converted to small sprites.
