  • The Painbringer now deals contact damage during its final 2 phases, to prevent cheesing them

Bug Fixes
  • The Shattered Crystals of Pain from the Painbringer should no longer despawn if the player gets too far away, preventing you from skipping the phase
  • Vortexian cannons no longer despawn as soon as they're off screen

Changes
  • When charging the Storm Diver Shotgun 2 visual lines appear that represent the current accuracy cone
    - They merge into one larger line when the weapon is fully charged
    - Bullets are now fired in an even spread when not fully charged
  • Derpling armour breastplate damage has been increased from 7 to 8%, crit chance increased from 6 to 8%,
  • Derpling Greaves damage and crit chance increased from 6 to 7%
    - Set bonus now requires you to hold down to fall faster, the falling speed has been slightly increased
    - Set bonus shockwave damaged increased from 75 to 150, and is slightly larger but has harsher damage falloff
    - The buff has been renamed to Derpling Power
  • Most cracked heart recipes produce more items
    - Life vials, Endurance, and Enhanced healing potions now get 5 per heart instead of 3
    - Super Life Vials now get 3 per heart instead of 1
    - Cracked shots now get 250 per heart instead of 150
  • The Oil can buy price reduced from 2 silver to 1 silver
  • The High Tech Seeking Arrow has been renamed to the Arrow of Seeking, and its inventory sprite has been flipped
Bug Fixes
  • Certain enemies now spin again when launched by the Derpling Armour Set bonus
  • Overloaded Scandrone’s Lightning portal attack should cause much less stuttering the first time it’s performed
  • Charging the Storm Diver Shotgun no longer causes some strange issues

Changes
  • The Oil Can is now a consumable, and firing a single blob of oil consumes one can
    - Buy price has been reduced from 10 Gold to 2 Silver
    - Using the fire blast consumes 3 cans at once, radius has been slightly increased
  • The Beetle Gauntlet now summons fewer beetles on crit.
    - The mini beetles now hover in the air for a short time before charging towards enemies.
    - The Mini beetled no longer inflict the beetle swarmed debuff
    - Hitting multiple enemies at the same time will only summon one set of beetles
    - Armour penetration of the beetles has been increased from 15 to 20
  • The Ancient Husk now shakes during its death animation

  • The painter no longer sells the Paintball gun in the Décor shop menu

  • The Nine Lives throw attack damage has been increased by 25%
    - Attacking enemies with either attack now slows down the rate that collected souls will escape, but not entirely prevent it
  • Super dummies are now limited to 50 at once, and will be removed if a boss is alive
    - The Tough variant defence lowered from 100 to 50
  • Heartless souls no longer spawn Pre-Skeletron in Don’t dig Up worlds
  • Only one Frozen Spirit can spawn at a time
Bug Fixes
  • The Nine Lives thrown projectiles no longer break immediately when throwing them from a slope

Additions
  • Added the Super Pain Dummy, crafted from 100 Wood and 5 pink gel
    - Acts like the super dummies found in other mods, can be placed anywhere, and destroyed with right click. Minions, sentries, and homing projectiles will target them.
    - Has 5 variants that can be selected by right clicking the item in the inventory
    - Standard: Acts like a regular super dummy, obeys gravity, has 999,999,999 health and 50K health regen
    - Floating: Same stats as standard, but floats in the air, useful for testing items against flying enemies
    - Tough: Same stats as standard, but has 100 defence, useful for testing defence piercing items
    - Broken: Has 50K health, no health regeneration, and a visible health bar below, useful to see how long it takes to deal 50K damage
    - Light: Same stats as standard, but has no knockback resistance, useful for testing knockback

  • Fixed typos in the Lihzarhd Chief Armour name

Additions
    Weapons
  • Added the Sticky Mine detonator and Sticky mines
    - Up to 6 mines can be out when holding the detonator, and stick to surfaces. Right clicking with the detonator causes all thrown out to explode, and can launch players and npcs.
    - A number will appear above the player each time they throw a mine, indicating how many mines have been fired, once 6 have been thrown no more can be thrown until they are detonated.
    - A red line will be drawn between the player and placed mines while holding the detonator
    - Both purchased from the Demolitionist post Eye of Cthulhu
  • Added The Flail Locker, crafted from evil bars, chain, and a chest lock
    - Functions as a pre-1.4 flail, and can be used for old flail lock puzzles
    Armour
  • Added Lihzarhd Chief Armour, crafted from Solar tablet fragments at the Lihzarhd alter
    - Grants whip based buffs and 2 extra minion slots
    - Set bonus makes whips summon a Lihzarhd Drone that obits the tagged enemy for a second before closing in and exploding, damaging all enemies nearby alongside the targetted one.
    Accessories
  • Added Raptor Claws, a tinker of Feral Claws and Sharktooth necklace
    - Combines effects of both, but only affect melee weapons and whips
    - Effects stack with the ingredients
  • Added Glacial Claws, a tinker of Raptor claws and Insulated cuffs, also requires bones
    - Has the effects of Raptor claws, but also has a chance to make melee and whips inflict glacial burn for 5 seconds
    - Effects stack with the ingredients
  • Added the Nightmare Claws, a tinker of the Glacial Claws and Spooky emblem
    - Combines the effects of both, armour penetration is increased to 12, and Glacial burn is replaced with a guaranteed Ultraburn
    - Effects stack with the ingredients, the Spooked debuff DoT is doubled if the Spooky Core is also equipped
  • Added the Obsidian Necklace, a tinker of the Obsidian Skull and Sharktooth necklace
    - For those incredibly common moments when you have to fight high-defenced enemies while standing on fire blocks
Changes
    Weapons
  • The vaporiser now shoots out spikes when thrown out, but at a slower rate than when spinning
  • The Spiky Bomb launcher slightly reworked
    - Mines near the cursor can be detonated without holding the weapon, and will have red particles around them indicating they can be detonated
    - While holding the weapon, holding down right click for half a second will detonate all mines, a red line will also be drawn from the player to every placed mines before they detonate
    - A number will appear above the player each time they launch a mine, indicating how many mines have been fired, at 16 mines it says “MAX” in red
    - Players and NPCs are launched slightly further
    - Increased the maximum velocity of shot mines
    - Mines can no longer be unstuck, as this feature was not very useful.
  • The Forbidden Staff sentry now fires at a faster rate, and has less damage falloff
  • The Bloody tendon tag crit chance increased from 4% to 8%
    - The blood orb projectile orbit now expands outwards, and last for a lower amount of time
  • The Forbidden Whip tag crit chance increased from 6 to 12%
  • Asteroid belt Whip tag damage and crit increased from 5 and 15 to 8 and 18 respectively
  • Slightly reduced the recipe cost of the Lihzarhd Weapons
  • Slightly tweaked the sprite of the Lihzarhd Temple Minion
    Accessories
  • The Beetle Gauntlet equipped sprite now appears on both hands
  • The flames from the Betsy’s Flame accessory travel faster when homing
  • Tweaked the Insulated Cuffs sprite
    Misc
  • TheShadowflare mask whip range bonus reduced from 20% to 15%
  • Tweaked the sprites of the Asteroid Drillsaw and jackhammer
  • The Oil Can now inflicted oiled anywhere from 12 to 18 seconds
  • Forbidden burn DoT on players has been increased from 8 to 12
  • Cryoburn has been renamed to Glacial burn, and the DoT on enemies reduced from 25 to 16, and is now only inflicted by the Glacial Claws. All weapons that previously inflicted it now inflict the vanilla frostbite instead.
    - Enemies still inflict this debuff, and the DoT on players has been increased from 8 to 12
  • Soulburn DoT on players has been increased from 7 to 15
  • UltraBurn and Ultrafreeze Dot on players has been increased from 12.5 to 25
  • Lunar Bouldered debuff DoT on players has been increased from 15 to 50
  • The aura of the Spooky Emblem has been greatly decreased, and the DoT has been reduced from 250 to 200
  • Increased the drop rate of the Mysterious Skull from enemies

Changes
  • The Nine Lives weapon has been retiered, now requires souls of fright instead of Ectoplasm.
    - Damage reduced from 85 to 50
    - The thrown projectiles linger for slightly less time when impacting an enemy.
  • Heavy (Horseshoe) Boots damage and shockwave size are now bases on how far the player has fallen.
    - Base damage of the shockwave starts at 10 and increased to 120, the additional damage for landing directly on top of an enemy starts at 10 and increased to 60
    - Falling acceleration has been slightly lowered, but max fall speed has been slightly increased
  • The missiles from the Santank armour have had their speed increased
  • The Oil can now inflicts oiled for 15 seconds instead of 20, and on fire for 10 seconds instead of 20.
    - Oil fire rate slightly reduced
Bug Fixes
  • Certain weapons with a right click feature are no longer activated when interacting with right clickable tiles.

v2.4.1.4
Changes
  • The Chlorophyte Scepter has been reworked and resprited into the Chlorophyte Spore Staff
    - Each use now sends out a fast spore projectile that ignore gravity, and explodes into multiple damaging spore particles when it reaches where the cursor was when it was fired.
    - The spore particles linger for about a second and deal 80% damage the main projectile.
    - The main projectiles pierces enemies and inflicts Acid Venom, but only explodes on tile impact or when it reaches the cursor position
    - Damage increased from 48 to 52, usetime increased from 10 to 30, mana usage increased from 6 to 20, and knockback reduced from 3 to 1.
  • The Chlorophyte Dart Shotgun sprite has been tweaked
Bug Fixes
  • Fixed an incorrect part of the Predictor body glowing.
