# March of Indepedendence

With respect to asset usage rights, over a hundred and fifty items have been revised and rebuilt from the ground up. Whilst it has been a somewhat annoying ordeal having to divert attention from the actual Wildlands update, it has also provided an opportunity to completely revise the visual language of these objects to something more appropriate for GIC's historically-inspired stagnant future.

One of the big issues with the old furniture were that many of them were simply too similar to each other and the variants having far too small of a difference to matter. The factional crates were all effectively the same as other faction's and much of the technology displayed was too contemporary to the 21st century.

The Unitans now include yin-yang iconography on their factional objects due to their use of magic and religious values. Military equipment such as the Void Torpedo and the Flak Cannon have changed from super sci-fi to more historical versions of WW2-era equipment. Even regular crates are more reminiscent of simple wartime-era boxes rather than modern padded boxes.

There are only so many different ways you can draw something at such small pixellated resolutions.

# REMOVAL OF THE LEGACY STORYLINE

Completely scrapped the legacy storyline:
- Outright deleted a large chunk of radio messages.
- Disconnected all missions from each other.
- Questgiver functionality deleted.
- Deleted all the old cinematics.
- Nuked a bunch of blank and unused codices from the files.

The difficult decision was made to entirely remove the Legacy Storyline from GIC. It simply did not fit what GIC is truly trying to aim for in regards to its actual plot, with the previous legacy storyline having been twisted too far by former team members having meddled with the plot with demands of unconditional OC integration, selfish forced-in writing that went against the actual vision, and a clear lack of consistency.

The maps themselves can still be accessed via console commands through the map IDs, but the actual "story" that bound them all together has been removed.

- Spear of the Repentful - Revised. Given slightly modified 6-combo and much faster swing speed at the cost of damage. Sprite altered. Now has a visual "flag" effect.
- Youkai-Slayer Spear - Now inherits the "Cross-Spear" visuals of the old Spear of the Repentful.

Ranged Weapons:
- Mk. 2055(B) Carbine Conversion > Modello 20 Carbine - Essentially reverted to the old release-day M20C but with a 13rnder instead of 7.
- Sten Gun Weight class MEDIUM > LIGHT.
- 113mm Precision Artillery - Increased capacity 4 > 10 | Now only uses Healing Flasks.
- 12.7mm Minigun Coordinator - Increased capacity 2 > 6 | Now only uses Healing Flasks.
- RK6 - Weight class MEDIUM > LIGHT.
- Kamchatka .50 and .50 Cal Ammo - Can now be found on Khurtovyna.
- Martini-Henry fixed breaking when equipped with a suppressor due to a missing suppressor sound effect.
- RPK74M - Can no longer accept underbarrels. Moved bipod to the front of the barrel.
- M20C - Disabled.
- Sarukh-12 - Disabled.
- Augmentyr SMG - Now comes pre-attached with the Orb Launcher. Orb Launcher now only uses Healing Flasks.

Armor:
- Revised Stone Knight Armor > Stone Legion Armor - Now summons an Erchius Entity every 60s. Resistances are weak, and the armor is still heavyweight, but the entity spawns are varied.
- Erchius Legion Helmet > Stone Centurion Helmet - Summons Erchius Shrike followers. Effectively an upgrade to the Stone Legion Helmet. Removed flawless drop. Now obtained by trading-in all pieces of the Stone Legion Set at the Celestial Merchant.
- Amanojaku Horns now has "integrated" black hair.

Objects:
- Reimplemented the previously-unused United Systems/States C and K-Ration. CIFR and CGIFR updated.
- Reverted "Unitan Utes" to the older version with some minor touchups.
- CEM > ATM (object spawn).
- Black Market Stranded Sorcerer > Dullahan Sorceress Merchant - Moved out of the Bazaar to the Wildlands Islands.
- Unitan Banner/Emblem revised. Now includes Yin-Yang iconography.

Dungeons:
- Replaced guaranteed Lever-Action in the Chaplain's Compound (Wildlands) with a guaranteed Martini-Henry.
- Removed trait statue from the False Protector boss arena (standard + boss rush).
- Rundown MTF spawn alarm now plays after exiting the Rundown Eternal elevator unit.
- Rundown MTF now always has a Fire Exit at spawn, allowing players to leave early | Adjusted exit piece spawn code | Safe room and Armory spawns 2x > 1x | Adjusted quest text.
- Bazaar Between Time now has a "Hall of Fame" containing the name of Patreon supporters, Contributors, and other Misc individuals.
- Rundown Hub Entries are now placed at the end of each of the Tyrant Judge's endings, making it more clear as to how the Rundown structure works (should help stop some people from replaying the story rundowns thinking that's the actual rundown).

Other:
- Tylian now has a highres image.
- Mortal Shell no longer auto-equipped on completing the Ashen Graveyard tutorial quest.
- Shatter Shot and Earthern-Peak Laser Sight no longer found in Tiny Mouse Commander's Loot-Crates.
- Fixed typo with Guardian of Nod's dialogue.
- Rot food tooltip adjusted position.
- Automarkets no longer require Scrap Metal.
- Adjusted Myouren Brewery's stock.

# RUNDOWN: MOBILE TASK FORCE

This update is a relatively small one that comes with an alternative but much faster method of earning Void Cores. RUNDOWN: MTF is a high-intensity dash to seize an abandoned Void Core shipment left behind at a refuelling depot. Blood Youkai make their appearance here, and can become a far more dangerous threat when mixed with other anomalies. Incoming hordes are more frequent, no other artifact types can spawn on this RUNDOWN type, and no FIRE EXITs or ESCAPE SHAFTs are present. You must make it to the train and escape on it, or die trying.

Get in, get out. Mobile Task Force Nine-Tailed Fox has entered the facility.

# LIGHT BLEEDING REWORK

Light Bleeding no longer deals any damage. Instead, it now deals -10% HIT CHANCE and ACCURACY, and -20% ATK.

# .36 Cal Freeman Revolver

Requested by Arasaka, this 4-shot .36 Cal is a high-damage, high-accuracy 1-handed pistol with an extended Point-Blank range. Found in the hands of the aristocrats of a Crusade planet, this little pistol can do wonders in the hands of a skilled gunslinger. Those shot by the pistol will also suffer 0.3s of PANIC, preventing them from firing so long as the user is constantly pouring fire an an enemy. It's qualities are boosted by its quick-release cylinder; an advanced mechanism for its time, relying on switching dedicated .36 Cal Freeman Revolver Cylinders.

# Focus Pistol Revisions

- Black Gambit revised - No longer has any focus mode abilities. Can still be "manually aimed" but this does not confer any bonuses. Re-upped capacity to 5rnds. Damage increased to 65. Crouching no longer boosts hit chance. The gun needed more time to be revised as its's original form was too blatantly overpowered, but its' 3.2.1 form was simply not as appealing. We also know full well that nobody actually used the ricochet function. It was too gimmicky compared to its excessive base killing power and high accuracy. In conjunction with the Six-Shooter revision, the Black Gambit establishes itself as a fast-firing but inflexible revolver.

- Magnificent Six-Shooter revised - Replaced the double-damage aiming with a PANIC shot, inducing PANIC in enemy infantry regardless of if the shot hit or missed. This was revised as it meant that the Six-Shooter was *too* good at sniping with its insanely low miss chance. While it was eventually superseded by the old Black Gambit in terms of being overpowered, it was still in hindsight somewhat poorly-designed and rushed. With the revisions done, no more FOCUS guns will be making their appearances, at least not for a long while, to prevent diluting the actual uniquity of each special weapon. The Six-Shooter's Panic Shot encourages the actual "focus" part, where properly taking time to get the upper hand on the enemy can give the user a better chance at survival should he be unable to kill as effectively.

Trinkets/Attachments:
- Suppressors no longer disable "gunfire noise", as this would prevent the proccing of useful trinket effects.

Equipment/Items:
- Firebombs - Updated description | Now causes PANIC | Reduced base damage per second from 100 to 25.
- M86 Flashbang - Revised effects. Now only STUNS for 3s, but also causes 6s PANIC - May affect other mechanics that rely on flashbang code.
- 40mm Flares and 18.5x70mm Starshell now cause SUPPRESSION against nearby enemies for 30s when fired.
- Automated Sentry Guns can now be recrafted at a Munitions Workbench for 10x Weapon Parts each.
- Added Modèle 50 Mine Bundle, 4 MLE-50 mines strapped to each other. Splits apart on throwing.
- 15mm Minie-Ball Shot can now be crafted.
- Added .36 Cal Paper Cartridge - Found on Crusade Planets.
- Added .36 Cal Freeman Revolver Cylinder - Ditto.

Ranged Weapons:
- Weatherby Savage Series 2 - Added LIGHTWEIGHT module.
- Added .36 Cal Freeman Revolver - 4-shot pistol with decent damage. Found on Crusade World and used by non-guardsmen.

NPCs:
- Afflicted and Bunker Synths reduced body armor from 70% to 50%.
- Added Khurtovynan Bunker Synth Infantry, equipped with an assault rifle.

Monsters:
- Electro Anomaly - Psychic resist 0% > 100%

Dungeons:
- Added free code slips to RUNDOWN: STORY (in case they were prematurely deleted before diving).

Other:
- Removed the Behemoth Train parallax sprite in the Entrenched City due to appearing as a giant black screen for some users.
- Altered icons of "dead" sentry guns to better distinguish them from functional sentry guns.
- Fixed RUNDOWN: ETERNAL being mislabelled as RUNDOWN: BIOHAZARD.
- Lowered iron bar cost for crafting Weapon Parts.
- 5 Weapon Parts can now be turned into an Iron Bar at a Scrap Workbench.
- Reduced value of Void Cores at Tylian due to the addition of RUNDOWN: MOBILE TASK FORCE.
