Update 4.1 (For 3.8.3)

  • Increased chances of Avatars spawning from the Eye
  • Reduced HP of Shroud Entities
  • Increased damage of the Avatars, Cosmic Horror and Ancient God
  • Added two new GalCom Resolution allowing you to form the Galactic Inquisition and empower it, giving all members the access to the Grand Inquisitor Councilor position.
  • Added a new council position, Grand Inquisitor, providing ethic attraction and bonus damage to Shroud Cultists.

VERSION 4.0 (For 3.8)

  • When a world is devoured it will now add different amount of casualties to the counter depending on pops on the planet (<25 = 250 million, 25-50 = 500 million and 1 billion if above 50 pops.)
  • Building a monolith on a planet within the influence of the Eye or a Rift will now recieve the modifier Monolith Sanctuary, which neutralises the negative effects. The modifier is removed should the monolith be destroyed.
  • Reworked the Relic God Heart event chain
  • Added 6 new character traits meant to add flavour to some leaders: Loyalist, Fervent, Cultist (one for each Shroud power). They can affect the likelihood of cult uprisings within your empire. Leaders have a chance every 3,5 and 8 level ups to get a character trait for a total of one.
  • Add 10 new events related to discovering cultists within your empire with several outcomes and ways to deal with them
  • Added two new GalCom Resolution allowing you to form the Galactic Inquisition, giving all members the access to the Grand Inqusitor Councilor position. *Currently not working, devs are adding a modding fix next hotfix so until the they are purely for flavour*

  • Initial spawn settings for the Crisis have been changed back to a yearly chance rather than a single chance at game start.
  • Added Shroud God leader trait (Only attainable by using the relic from defeating the ancient God)
  • Adjusted cost for the inhibtior project and moved it to later in the timeline, this was causing AI to cripple their engineering research too early.
  • Bastions and Everlasting Bastions will now spawn 6 and 12 defensive armies rather than one per pop.
  • Increased the boon given from the Shroud should you dismantle the Goliath Inhibitor
  • Reformated the .dds icons for all buildings as they were appearing blurry

VERSION 3.0

  • Shroud enemies will no longer spawn from a closed rift. This was due to spawns set on random timers but having no check to see if that rift was sealed before that timer was up.
  • Added a new peaceful event possibility for shroud storms
  • Reduced health of Shroud Horrors that spawn on planets
  • Added an event informing all empires once the three rifts have been sealed
  • Added a relic for slaying the ancient God with accompanying events
  • Added an event for each stage of the Goliath Inhibitor as the Shroud creatures try to stop its construction
  • Reworked and added new Galactic Community Resolutions, it is now divided into 3 categories for a total of 7. They focus on inhibitor construction in GalCom Space, starbase defense and damage against shroud enemies
  • AI will now properly build Inhibitors in their space if they have the resources to do so
  • Reduced number of devoured planets required to spawn the ancient god
  • Increased the reward modifier for the empire that banishes the ancient god from 10 years to 25 years
  • Significantly increased rewards from the Shroud should you dismantle the Goliath Inhibitor
  • If you seal but then reopen the Eye of Terror, you will now properly lose all benefits and opinion modifiers from sealing it. And can no longer gain it back if you seal it again.
  • Added devastation effect if you piss off the colony temple patron
  • Added unity bonus to Cultist civic
  • Added a holding version of the Monolith so you can protect your vassals
  • Removed +1 building slot and added science jobs to Blackstone Monolith
  • Generals/Admirals can now also gain offensive trait vs Cultist Uprisings as well as normal Cultists
  • Fixed empire and wargoal naming for cultist uprising
  • Planets with Blackstone Monoliths will now properly prevent Horrors from spawning on the planet when within range of the Eye or a Rift
  • Adjusted the cultist uprising to produce a barbaric despoiler empire
  • Changed bonuses for Shroud Worship civic to include unity creation and spiritual ethic attraction
  • Planets within range of a rift now have a 50% instead of 66% chance of horrors spawning on the surface
  • Fixed issue with Cult Uprising situation not being ended when local forces crush it
  • Entities and cultists now generate threat after attacking a planet
  • Fixed issue that wouldn't allow you to select the Eye of Terror if a Orbital Ring or habitat was built on the original planet
  • Fixed visual and planet effects not returning properly if some madlad decided to reopen the Eye of Terror
  • Adjust spawning of horrrors on planets so they don't all popup on the same day but rather with a randomized timeframe for each planet
  • Spawning the Eye of Terror will now destroy any orbiting habitat
  • Rebellions should no longer spawn while a cultist uprising is occuring
  • Threat is now properly generated when worlds are devoured
