Quickfix V3.1 (for Stellaris 3.8) >

  • There were instances when the AI would unlock perks too fast (when they prioritize unity bonuses from mods) and were able to get mega-engineering really early when unlocking AP Galactic wonders, effectively crippling their tech research due to the lack of research output or research bonuses. Thanks for the report @ShinyNobody

  • The solution is to grant them research progress (not just unlocking the techs) towards any expensive mega-structure techs, this actually makes games harder but avoids the AI getting stuck researching really expensive techs.

      Sartek TAP merger now accounts changes from Electroids Species Pack which overwrites the potential block in the following Ascension Perks:
      • ap_the_flesh_is_weak
      • ap_hive_worlds
      • ap_arcology_project
      • ap_organo_machine_interfacing
      • ap_synthetic_evolution

    For everyone using Plentiful - Extra Perks:

    • The fix for starbase modules is back, there is no full file overwrite but rather a FIOS overwrite that is confirmed it works and is more compatible with everything else that modifies the 00_static_modifiers file.

    • ESAP changes to Executive Vigor and Imperial Prerogative now interact with the latest update's council effects, Council Agenda Progress Speed and Enacted Council Agenda Effect Duration respectively, this benefits stack and increase for each government perk unlocked. (This requires ESAP to be in your mod list, this mod only adds the compatibility so this change is not overlapped by other mods.)
    • Certain vanilla compatibility is no longer required for these aforementioned perks since ESAP's latest update.
    • Static modifier file override erased.
    • Erased a ruler skill level effect (from Utopian Dream) that was not working because rulers work differently in 3.8.
