Escape From Black Mesa | Imposter Version 1.1

This version does not add any cool new features but merely addresses some feedback and fixes some bugs.




- Fixed a railing which stuck too far through a railing cap in the transit system lobby
- The second GF ragdoll has been rotated slightly in an attempt to make it more obvious that it is GF
- A hud hint was removed teaching the player to jump because they would have had to have jumped before that point
- The hud hint for interacting with the plug in the first fire door puzzle was removed as it detracts from the gameplay
- The stair railing in the zombie flare room was made solid
- Motion was enabled on the props on the shelves in the barnicle room
- Some railings have been properly connected on the walking way in the main lobby
- Some plants have been removed from the central lobby so as not to obstruct the players vision during the Vortigaunt battle
- An NPC clip was added to the entrance of the "side-lab" so that the Vortigaunt that appears in there does not immediately run towards the player
- Some flares were added to the zombie restroom to provide another method of dispatching of the zombie
- The distance of the elevator jump has been shortened to make it a bit more manageable (if can now be done buy only sprint-jumping)
- Some pipes that sometimes blocked the player in the houndeye section were removed
- A blocklight brush was added to the security locker room door to stop the red glow stick light from spilling through to the room
- The battery in one of the security locker room lockers was moved to another locker
- The edges of the walk-in locker door frames are now against the walls
- The lighting in the final battle arena has been made slightly darker so that the points of interest are more distinctive
- The bridge from island 1 to island 2 has been raised higher to improve visibility to the elevator and provide more cover during the battle
- In the final lobby/battle arena, the higher plants on islands 1 and 4 were replaced with shorter smaller plants so they do not obstruct player visibility in the fight
- The cover around in the first floor battle of the final lobby combat arena has been shifted around to make the fight more fun
- Some health kits and batteries have been added around the lobby battle arena to aid players playing on "Hard" difficulty
- Some props which faded out at a short distance no longer fade out so abruptly
- The grenade hud hint teaching the user to throw grenades has been removed as it is unnecessary and detracts from the frag throwing puzzle
- The exploding barrel room has been changed to make it cleaner and so that there is not too much visual clutter
- The scale of the sprites on the windows at the very end have been toned down so is is easier to see the “outside world”
