This is a major update, here are the details:
New damage mechanics

In the vanilla mechanism, the destruction of a tank mainly depends on the body component. It has a health bar. When the health bar is exhausted by ammunition, the components are damaged and the crew abandons the vehicle. (It can be repaired at this time). When the upper limit of the health bar is exhausted, the vehicle is completely damaged and cannot be repaired. Of course, there are some other mechanisms that can lead to irreparable damage: such as fire and ammunition rack explosion. In west81's new damage mechanism, the body component and the turret component will no longer be damaged after being penetrated. Players need to destroy specific components to put them into the break state.

The key components are: turret, driver panel, panel engine connector, transmission, engine. If the number of damaged components reaches 3, the body will be in a broken state, and the crew will not be able to enter the tank and must be repaired.

If you are a War Thunder player, you may be familiar with this damage mechanism. The countermeasure is also simple, quickly make the enemy tank incapable of combat by hitting weak points or key components, or repeatedly penetrate the weak areas of the hull/turret to kill all the crew members in the tank.

Another new mechanism about the ammunition rack that needs to be mentioned is that the ammunition rack will not always explode when hit. The chance of it exploding depends on the type and amount of ammunition in the tank. The less ammunition, the less likely it is to explode, and it will not explode if there is no ammunition. (Of course, because the AI ​​does not consume ammunition, the AI's tank will always be full of ammunition, which is a mechanism that is beneficial to the player)

ps:Not all vehicles use the new mechanics, all cars (such as humvees or trucks) and Polish tanks still use the vanilla damage mechanics.

Hotfix: Fixed the issue where the T-80BV driver's hatch would not close.

Reduced the number of AI spawns in conquest mode.
If you find it lacking in challenge, you can navigate to Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\400750\2897299509\resource, unzip script_old.zip and overwrite its contents with the script folder.

New mechanics: Most tanks' sights can now be destroyed. When all sights are destroyed, the tank will not be able to observe the enemy. (Of course, you can still directly order the tank to attack the target, or operate the tank to attack the enemy yourself).
Bradley's missile launcher can now be destroyed, and it will not be able to fire missiles when damaged.
Fixed the game crash when playing COOP multiplayer conquest with USA as the enemy.
Optimized the file size of the mod and compressed some mod files to speed up loading.

To other developers: The binding skeleton of the first-person camera of most tanks has been changed to visor1_optic. It is recommended that you modify the mdl or add a new definition file in third_person for isolation, so as not to affect the vehicles you added.

Reworked and Improved Blowout panel mechanism for tanks with Blowout panels



1.Now, during the process of reloading the tank, if a hit occurs to the ammo compartment of tank with blowout panels, a fatal ammo rack explosion will occur as ammo doors have to be open for the loader to retrieve the shell.

2.Armour for the ammo rack compartment has also been modeled, as the ammo doors have only a thin piece of armor a direct hit would cause a 90% chance for the blowout panels to not function as intended and a fatal ammo rack explosion could occur.

3.Main gun of the tank will also not be available for use when blowout panels has been triggered. This is to prevent AI players from firing the main gun as in the game they game unlimited ammo even though all ammo has been burnt through theroretically in the ammo rack when struck.

4.Blowout panels of the tank are now repairable by the crew, panels will be replaced, and the main gun of the tank will be available for action again after repair.
