General

All classes have had 1-3 stationary archer units added to their starting citadel. This is intended as a small QoL tweak and to avoid AI factions being eliminated in the first 10 turns due to wandering wildlife.

Events that add Labyrinth/Sphinx terrains at game start when they do not already exist have been updated so that the neutral monsters on the tile have a chance to carry magic items to make the tiles more interesting for classes other than the Senator. For the Labyrinth this item is specifically a Staff of Fire to also act as a means of a more dependable source of Burn Forest for classes that cannot claim Ancient Forests.

I added a few more descriptive details to a lot of my rituals to make their conditions + effects clearer.

Burgmeister

Summon chance for Spring Ents increased from 10% to 15%.

Troll King

Goblin King has a new ritual, "Troll Toll" which summons a stealthy + stationary "Bridge Troll" guardian at a bridge/tower bridge terrain. The Bridge Troll will also produce a small amount of gold per turn.

Lake Trolls can now be recruited from Ports in addition to citadels next to lakes. The recruit rate for Ports is lower than lake adjacent citadels.

Necromancer/Markgraf

Ancient Temple of the Deeps now has 2 Hands income to make exploring the seas with Dread Husks more rewarding.

Barbarian

Swords to Plowshares ritual now costs 1 Barbarian Warrior/Swordsman/Bowman instead of 10 gold to better fit the concept that an aged soldier is retired.

Warlock

Aboleth HP is increased.

Djiin gold per turn bonus increased from 1 to 3.

Voice of El

A custom event has been added that will prevent an Inquisition or Crusade army from drowning should the AI make the questionable decision to move over frozen water in late winter.

A few balance adjustments

Necromancer/Markgraf

Dracolich summons can move independently, but can't lead troops.

Kobold King

Dragonspawn have +1 morale.

Demonologist

Bone Imps + Bone Devils now have pierce resistance.

Hoburg

Create Manufactory ritual now costs Gold + Iron instead of Gold + Gems.

Markgraf

Flesh Golem ritual changed to level 1 from level 2.

Slaughterhouse gold income - 1

General

Hoburg Villages now have 1 Sacrifice income.

Small rework for some Bakemono mechanics and a few tweaks to other classes

Bakemono

"Found Ninja Clan" ritual has been removed.

Dai Ninja + Ninja recruitment chance is now higher, but exclusive to Old Castle Ruins.

Owning Brigand Lairs will occasionally provide free Ninja units.

Lucky God has had Kuro Do Level 2 casting dropped but now spawns with significantly more units.

Dragon Emperor now spawns with a few "Dragon Blooded Maidens" a new level 1 caster unit.

Markgraf

Slaughterhouse free spawns now occur twice as often to bring this on par with other "late game spawns unit over time" abilities.

Dryad Queen

A few small HP buffs to some Bronze/Steel tier units.

Small update being released pretty soon after the last to fix some features not working as intended.

General

Fix
Adjustment to Solar Beams spell to make blindness effect enemy-only unintentionally made the stun effect of a few lightning attacks enemy-only as well. This has been adjusted to only apply to Solar Beams as intended.

Fix
A few "place terrain at game start" events had neutral defenders that would wander instead of stay in place. This is corrected.

Dwarf Queen

Fix
Dwarf Smithy had the incorrect ritual set. This has been corrected

Content
Smithies now produce 1 point of trade value.

Troll King

Fix
Lizard King now counts as a commander that enables gathering fungus resource.

Fix
Call the Old Swamp ritual was creating Iron Bogs commonly and Swamps rarely instead of vice versa. This has been corrected.

Cloud Lord

Content
Cloud Seeder now rarely creates a cloud hamlet instead of clouds.

Minor additions for most classes. Roll back some changes that are not needed as of 5.29 update. A bit of a rituals rework for Warlock + Illusionist

Baron

Ranger Captain's crossbow attack now does additional poison damage.

Necromancer/Markgraf

Abomination previously had Life Drain attack added and incorporate removed to work around a bug that could cause it to die when swallowing a unit afflicted with decay. This bug has been fixed in update 5.29 so this is rolled back as it's no longer needed.

Witch

Ancient Presence previously had regeneration added and incorporate removed to work around a bug that could cause it to die when swallowing a unit afflicted with decay. This bug has been fixed in update 5.29 so this is rolled back as it's no longer needed.

High Priestess

Additional start of game event added to guarantee at least 1 Ziggurat on the map.

Senator

Additional start of game events are added to guarantee at least 1 Sacred Spring, Labyrinth, Sphinx terrains for Aspiring Hero rituals.

Pale Ones

Cost of Establish Lair has been adjusted to cost 50 Iron 25 Emeralds instead of 100 Gold 50 Emeralds.

Burgmeister

Chance that Hoburg Manufactory spawns clockwork soldiers has been increased from 5% to 8%.

Engineer General is no longer slow and has 3 AP.

Warlock

Wizard Towers created by Earth Warlocks now produce 2 Emeralds instead of 1.

Raise Volcano ritual is removed for Earth Warlocks.

Primal Maelstrom ritual is now learned for free when Water Warlock promotes to level 3.

Frostling Chief + Frostlings now have snow stealth

Frostlings HP increased to 11 from 8

Grave Hulks HP increased to 58 from 38

Sandman summons increased to 1d3 + 1 from 1d3

Conflux Summoning now has a more randomized pool of potential combinations of lesser elementals that can be summoned. Additionally there is now a small chance to summon 1 of each greater elementals.

Warlock + Cloud Lord

Fimbul Fortresses now have 2 Sapphire + 1 Diamond Income

Cloud Elemental Air Shield reduced to 25 from 50

Voice of El

Cleric recruitment offers now increase with Temples owned

Illusionist

Mirror Guard Iron Cost decreased to 25 from 35 but added cost of 10 Gems.

Gremlins are now Greedy

Palace of Dreams now have Magic Walls

Create Simulacrum has been reworked.

Previously in this mod the ritual cost 50 gems, 3 movement, 1 Golden Mirror, and could only be cast at the Palace of Dreams. It was also learned free with the Palace of Dreams ritual.

The ritual now costs 50 gems + 1 Mirror, and can be cast at any land location. However, the ritual can only be cast 3 times per individual Illusionist, the gem cost doubles with each cast: 50 -> 100 -> 200, and the quality of the mirror required increases as well: Large -> Silver -> Gold. If the Illusionist dies the Simulacrum that inherits his rituals will not reset this progression. It is still learned free with the Palace of Dreams ritual.

Content/Balance Update -

Baron
The King now has a ritual to upgrade a magic library to a magic academy that can be cast once per game.

Demonologist
Substantial rework, full details in class post. "Infernal Tome"is replaced by a new mechanic that allows Demonologists to promote to immortal "Infernal King" if a tower/citadel in hell is conquered. Infernal King can summon 1 Demon Lord with no chance of control failure.

Witch
Ancient Scrolls is replaced by a new mechanic. Major Summoning ritual has a small chance to grant a new leader the, "Night Hag". Night Hag can perform Major Summoning/Old One summoning with no chance of failure, but locked at max fungus cost and with additional movement cost.

High Priestess
Venom Pact has HP reduced slightly

Bakemono
2 new summons added to "Summon King". "Lucky God" and "Dragon Emperor"

Barbarian
New warlord ritual, "Swords to Plowshares" for a small cost house ruins can be rebuilt to a farm.

Senator
Emperor/Dark Emperor has a ritual to upgrade a magic library to a magic academy that can be cast once per game.
A new Aspiring Hero can be hired once a Mythic Hero is owned.

Druid
Fir Bolg Swordsman now cost 5 iron.

Priest King
Priests of all temples now have a level 1 ritual where 5 slaves can be consumed to heal 1 battle affliction and grant the blessed status to the target unit.

Troll King
New level 2 ritual to summon the "Lizard King". A commander that can turn dead forests to swamps and has a unique pool of mid-tier summons. Rate of free spawns at goblin towers slightly increased.

High Cultist
Haunted Cities now have a wooden barricade gate.

Dwarf Queen
Gold Bolters slightly nerfed with higher recruit cost and recruit offers slightly rarer.

Illusionist
Cost of "Mirror Crystals" decreased

Scourge Lord
Swarm Lord reworked. Swarm Summons has been decreased in cost and now uses Ancient Forests instead of shadow woods. Life drain attack replaced with Locust Summoning attack.

Concubine - Seduce aura has been replaced with a range charm attack with a "reload" time.

Cloud Lord
Eagle Guard now have pierce resistance, gem cost is reduced to 10, but gold cost increased to 100.

Cloud Seeder now knows level 1 Storm Magic.

Elixir of Eternity ritual cost decreased to 200.

Kobold King

Forest Dragons are now summoned at shadow woods instead of ancient forests so Kobolds have no need to protect forests.

New level 3 ritual, "Create Tiamat" a new end game summon that requires an elder dragon, temple and 200 gems, but summons the only non-stupid dragon summon.

Raksharaja - new level 2 ritual, "Bhuta Upwelling" - Basically "Raise Legion" but for the Monkeys.

New commander recruit for Maharaja. A new type of level 1 spell caster with recruit rate that scales off Atavi villages. Demonologist Personal Gate has been modified so that the destination is always an "ash field". No more teleporting directly into magma. Minor nerf to cloud elementals. Range of lightning reduced to 6 from 8 to make cloud elemental spam not as overwhelming. Rituals to create cloud castles and wizard towers now has a small minimum distance required from existing cloud castles/wizard towers.

Ritual re-work for Maharaja, Illusionist, Troll King, and Raksharaja. Namely that "cloak terrain" rituals have been removed/replaced. Small balance updates for Voice of El, Necromancer, and Burgmesiter. Details will be added to class specific discussions.
