v2.1

Added Mario cap compatibility (it was in the files but the compatibility was never actually properly implemented until now).

Fixed the AI to actually not use Up Special until the full wall jump is over rather than immediately during it (it was a typo).

Added unique win quotes for Tenna, Ratchet & Clank, Toaster and Yoshi.

v2.0

Character has been resprited. Yooka is now slightly taller with the tail redrawn and the chest no longer having an outline.
Character is now small sprites.
Laylee has been redrawn to be smaller with a new wing shape, shorter ears that are placed differently.

Idle animation has been completley redone to be facing forward.
Jumpstart, land and landing lag are completely redrawn to a new pose.
New Pratland animation.

Completely new Jab attack, with Jab 1 and 2 being new moves while the pose of Jab 3 has been altered slightly.
Utilt animation has had the first frame changed for greater windup.
Altered Dtilt animation to be a bit more dynamic.
Dtilt Endlag 8 -> 9
Bair animation altered slightly for bigger impact, Uair also altered for the faster timings.
Dash Attack can now be cancelled into Up Strong, the DACUS had been disabled due to the nature of this dash attack.
Changed FStrong poses
New UStrong animation, still similar to the old one but with the scoop hitboxes now visibly shown by Yooka attacking and more of an upwards motion on the head.
NSpecial can no longer destroy projectiles
NSpecial resprited slightly for slightly more animation and given a considerably larger amount of range. At the expense of a smaller hitbox that's always on the tongue.
Also did some code tweaking so that the opponent is always on the end of the tongue when being pulled in.
USpecial has gained an extra animation to assemble the bloom before Yooka ends up in it.

Max Jump Hsp 5 -> 6 (To standardise it to Rivals logic)
Leave Ground Max 7 -> 6
Double jump speed increased to 9.5
Laylee's second double jump has less height than the first, changing double jump to 7.5 speed for the second jump
DAttack no longer boosts Jump change
Knockback Adj 1.05 -> 1 (I did this because their recovery doesn't go very far and they have low double jump speed so they probably don't need to be that lightweight.)

Reanimated DSpecial slightly
Increased startup of Scorchberry and Splashberry DSpecials
Changed how Scorchberry DSpecial works by making it a proper Fire Breath move that decreases in intensity over time.
Added new hit sound to the ice berries when hit.
New HUD element to signify cooldowns on berries.
New sound effects for Bomb Berries on hit and when spit, matching their original sound effects from Yooka-Laylee.

Fixed being able to move before the match starts.
Hurt voice sound added on the occasional hit.
Completely revamped the AI, now operating on the basis of the template used by Sandbert with Custom AI but with specific conditions for special attack

New portrait by Omelette.
Adjusted preview to match new portrait.
Improved details on preview by giving it more of a gradient.

Adjusted win quote textbox to match new portrait.
Added win quotes for Twilight Sparkle, Furmur Sparkle, Freddy Fazbear, Jaune, Fluffy, SD-V, Funky Kong, Donkey Kong, Paleblood Hunter, Jovial Merriment and 1 Billion Lions..

Hotfix: Removed double walk sprite strips to avoid memory leaks

Yooka and Laylee AI will now perform Taunt after taking a stock.

v1.19

Adjusted head positions in walk, dashstart, jump and dash animations. There is now a much more noticeable lean forward in these, jump in particular.

Completely reanimated walk, making it 4 fewer in frame count but with a smoother walk cycle based more on some of my other characters.

Laylee now rotates forward and back a bit during dash.

These changes should hopefully make it feel less stiff during moving and jumping about, an issue with the character that has existed for a long time owing to the base animations.

Made a slightly adjustment to the AI by trying to improve its overall frame rate performance and clear the error log.

In line with Yooka Replayee, changed one of the default win quotes to reference that.
Finally added Trial Grounds compatibility, took long enough.
Added ScreenKO compatibility.
Added Po and Gumbo compatibility
Added win quote for the new Banjo and Kazooie that was uploaded.
Added Dialogue Buddy quote with that new Banjo and Kazooie.

Removed Hitbox Group -1 on Jab, FStrong, NSpecial2 and other moves that don't need it.

Reduced file size on Wall E Taunt compat music and roll rumble as well as indexing a few files' colours, shaving 1MB off the file size.

Resprited the first frame of Utilt to give the move a bit more impact during startup.

Made a small adjustment to Jab frame 1.

Added Dialogue Buddy quote for RyeGuy and Beaky.

Added win quote for RyeGuy and Beaky and added Floofy McBee to win quotes.

Fixed a typo bug where getting hit would not reset the cooldown of Up Special as intended in an earlier patch.

v1.16

Altered berry cancelling to require the move to be more committal before you can cancel out of your current berry.
Added Custom Chao compatibility (there's two of them now).
Added Wiimote compatibility
Added support for the Unlock Potential buddy. With this buddy equipped, the berry timer will not tick down while a berry is equipped.
New alts! Added Espio-Charmy and Mulch-Bin alts.
Added Gema and Mulch and Bin to the default list of Laylee win quotes (though as a reminder, you can overwrite these with your own.)

v1.15

Made it so that if you get hit while your USpecial is on cooldown it is no longer on cooldown, except if you get hit by your own USpecial.

Laylee is now properly outlined during Team Battles while in idle, except if Abyss Mode is turned on, this is so that in Endless Abyss there isn't a random outline.

Boom Blooms now properly fire Yooka and Laylee in Endless Abyss and Team Battles

Changed the win quote for Carol.

Added win quote support for Bar Sonic, Spark the Electric Jester, Jetie Vi and Scorchers Lilac.

v1.14

Air friction 0.07 -> 0.05 (I hadn't quite realised that the character with max Air Friction was in fact Orcane who is meant to rely on his puddle recovery. In Rivals context this means air friction is heavier than Banjo would be, so altering this to make them slightly less heavy.

Resprited Jab 1 slightly to have Yooka lean back on tail hit so that the move has a bit more impact.

Jab 2 now has Yooka's legs leap off the ground and holds the pose on hit before spinning to the ground before preparing for the third hit.

Jab 3 is now three frames longer to account for proper startup.

Ftilt has a subtle change to the animation to give it more lean and animation frames have been adjusted along with the effect to have one animation frame in the hit frame instead of two.

Basically Jab2 and Ftilt no longer look alike which should hopefully improve readability.

Switched the sound effects of Uair around so that what was the hit sound is now the attack sound and vice versa, I feel this will help give the hit more impact.

Added intro animation, based on level entrances from Yooka and Laylee.
Fixed wrong offset on Green Flower Zone compatibility
Added win quotes for Boris Anderson and Wes.
Added Gold Sheen to Golden Tonic alt.

Altered the hit logic on Boom Blooms to not use player hitstop in order to avoid jank DI redirection on hit. (Essentially made the change that was made by Tester)
