Pegasus Knights Update
New Units
Both new units are for Ellyrion only.
  • Ellyrian Pegasus Knights - Essentially Ellyrian Silver Helms mounted on Pegasi. A Tier 4 flying unit, conservatively balanced to be a little stronger than Bretonnia Pegasus Knights, and a lot weaker than Royal Pegasus Knights.
  • Ellyrian Silver Helms (Swords) - A standard swords variant of Ellyrion's signature Silver Helms. As usual, lowers charge in exchange for melee defence. Intended to give the cavalry-focused Ellyrion the option of at least one cavalry unit that doesn't need to be micromanaged as hard.

Faction Bonuses
  • Ellyrion now gains +2 recruit rank when recruiting its thematic Lord and Hero types

Skills
  • Aelin gains the standard Reaver Steed as an early game mount, so she does not have to wait so long to get on a horse.
  • Mild overhaul of Aelin's skill effects, shifting and adjusting bonuses.
  • Harbingers replaced "Deadly Onslaught" (charge-focused ability) with "Colossal Strike" (large enemies-focused ability) to reflect their nature as Hunters
  • Harbinger specialization skills now grant a small stat bonus
  • Ellyrian Princesses now have a skill to mildly buff Nightelm units

Unit Changes
  • New signature ability for Ellyrian Silver Helms: Plainstrider (a watered-down version of Strider that improves their mobility on the open field only).
  • Removed Fatigue Resistance from Ellyrian Silver Helms
  • Slightly increased Reaver Knights' AP damage ratio, total damage unchanged. Players frequently complained about the inability to use Reaver Knights late game as armour values got better; this will help that issue while leaving Reaver Knights no better than normal Reaver archers against low armour targets

Climate
  • Reduced (nerfed) Ellyrion's suitability to Temperate climate

Fixes
  • Adjusted the Harbinger immunity to Mountain, Swamp, and Snow attrition so it actually functions, thanks to TricksterNot for the report
  • Improved hair model for the Harbinger variant used as Aelin's starting hero (Nalisa)
  • All Harbinger body parts now properly get blood on them
  • Improved several Ellyrian Princess unit cards
  • Improved script compatibility
  • Numerous minor tweaks
