Updated for 1.8. Note that this is a functional update, and there might be balance issues or issues further into the game.

Laws
- New Law: State Unions to the Trade Unions Law category. State Unions increases Laborer attraction to Interest Groups in government, reduces political power from wealth, reduces expected SoL, increases Trade Union approval, and increases the political power of bureaucrats. Prevents the General Strike JE.
- New Law: Professional Civil Service to the Bureaucracy category. Professional Civil Service increases bureaucracy and authority, increases bureaucrat political power, increases government wages and employees in government administration, and increases stall chance of law changes.
- Strengthened the effects of the alcohol regulations Law Group.
- Appointed Bureaucrats no longer increase Bureaucrat political power.
- Appointed Bureaucrats increases bureaucrat attraction to government Interest Groups. Enables in-government Rural Folk, Industrialists and Landowners to attract Bureaucrats.

Political Movements
- Added a political movement for Financial Centralization to push for a Central Bank.

Power Blocs
- Added the "Financial Stability" Principle Group which increases market confidence, increases strength of drift of volatility towards 0, increases prestige from the Central Bank institution, and gives an extra company.
- Added the "Free Investments" Principle Group which increases the effect of Booms, increases the confidence rebound from busts, increases minting from Central Bank and increases investments from Capitalists and Shopkeepers.

Character Interactions
- Petite-Bourgeoisie can be influenced to an Anti-Clerical ideology with the Influence Ideology interaction.

Balance
- Reduced the effect of Political Interference on tolerance progression.
- Increased effect on pop political power from Arts Academies.
- Increased negative effect on political strength and pop attraction on government interest groups when a recession or depression fires.

Other
- Various bug fixes.
- Added dynamic names for some countries depending on state autonomy laws.

- Chinese localization updated.

Historical
- Denmark starts with the Central Banking (Hard Currency) law enabled.

Balance
- Transportation can no longer cover the "News" need.
- Petite-Bourgeoisie have reduced attraction among poor strata.
- Independent Workers have reduced attraction among middle strata.
- Independent Workers have slightly increased attraction among poor strata at SoL 10-15.
- Regulated Unions Law increases laborer attraction to Independent Workers substantially.

War Bonds
- Added a new decision and Journal Entry: Issue War Bonds.
- Issuing War Bonds requires a Central Bank, having the Central Planning Technology, and being at war.
- War Bonds allow you to raise money during war primarily from wealthy pops.
- War Bonds can be issued up to four times to receive a significant lump sum of money into the treasury.
- Each time War Bonds are issued, they will have increased penalties to SoL and Investment efficiency, but also reduced interest payments and war exhaustion from casualties.
- Defaulting on War Bond debt has significant penalties to legitimacy, radicalism and market confidence.

- Coin Production Methods for Banking Sectors now consumes only iron, instead of a mix of paper and iron.
- Added in a fail-safe to the Two Party System for Monarchies where if, somehow, neither a liberal, conservative or social-democratic party are active, it is still possible to get out of the event. This should only be possible with other mods overwriting the PEC changes to parties.

- Reduced the temporary penalty of devaluing currency.
- Increased the amount of treasury gained from devaluing currency.
- Reduced the chance of a boom at market confidence Levels -1 to -6.
- Reduced the chance of a recession at market confidence Levels 1 to 6.

Law Changes
- Agrarianism gives Farmers and Aristocrats a slight boost to political Power.
- Laissez-Faire gives Capitalists a slight boost to political Power.

Minority Nationalism JE
- The Suppression buttons (Target Nationalists, Forced Assimilation and Encourage Settlement) are now mutually exclusive, but each have a more rapid build-up of progress to suppressing the nationalist movement.
- Increased the frequency of assimilation from Forced Assimilation.

- Arts Academies:
-- Traditional Patronage employs Clergymen and increases Aristocrat political strength country-wide. Needs Traditionalism, Agrarianism, Serfdom or Tenant Farmers.
-- Bourgeois Patronage employs Shopkeepers and increases Capitalist political strength country-wide.
-- Independent Arists increases Academic political strength country-wide. Needs Realism.
-- New PM: Military-Industrial Patronage employs Officers and increases Officer political strength country-wide. Needs Professional Military or Mass Conscription.
-- New PM: Socialist Realist Art employs Machinists and increases Machinist political strength country-wide. Needs Council Republic.
-- New PM: State-Directed Art employs Bureaucrats, increases Authority and Bureaucrat political strength country-wide. Needs Mass Propaganda and that Protected Speech is not enacted.

Balance
- Reduced government ownership penalty to Economy of Scale.
