VERSION 7.0
ATTENTION
the name of the executable has changed
from noresus-project.exe to noresus-skirmish.exe,
so as not to be confused with other NORESUS PROJECT products.

Given the change and addition of Units by the GoH Devs,
it is recommended to start a new Campaign again.

For those who already have NORESUS installed
copy only noresus-skirmish.exe and conquest.txt.
(permanently delete the noresus-project.exe file)

After Steam has updated the mod on your PC,
when you go to get the NORESUS SKIRMISH.rar file
to proceed with installing or updating the client,
I advise you to manually delete from the mod folder
(\steamapps\workshop\content\400750\3004764330\)
the following obsolete files:
NORESUS PROJECT.rar
disloc_btg_1.sql
disloc_btg_2.sql
disloc_btg_3.sql
(to be done only once)

In this version:
Fixed some bugs reported by you;
The entire mechanism for creating Battalions has been modified;
Fully updated to the new GoH 1.42 Units.

New features:
Battalion Names
battalion_names_*.txt file is now available and contains the names of all Battalions (per Period\Faction).
By default they are those created by NORESUS, but it is possible to replace them with customized ones (as is done in QG);
for example to have greater historical accuracy.
Files are created the first time you start a new Campaign.
A small number under the name (in HQ) indicates its line in the conquest.txt file: max. 25 characters for names.

IOS (Intelligence Operations System)
In addition to civilian information, military information is now also available.
The cost of corruption still depends on distance, but the amount of information depends on the Enemy Region Wealth.

Capitals now always have 1 Factory;
It is now possible to also access the ally's HQ (between Soviet and USA);
Cursor keys activated to move the map;
Enemy Off-Map Support is only visible when bordering (or with IOS);

Let's start testing IOS (Intelligence Operations System)

By bribing Enemy Officials, depending on whether the Region is near or far away,
it is possible to know the level of wealth of the Enemy Region,
as well as any existing Infrastructure...
(in the next version we will add military IOS)

Added some graphics features and tooltips;
Added the front_line variable (conquest.txt file) which, if set to true, dynamically highlights the Front Line;
Added the AI_sim variable (conquest.txt file): see note;
Fixed some minor bugs.

Maps have now been localized by Front (as well as by Season):
Western Front
Spring & Summer: 22 Maps;
Autumn: 12 Maps;
Winter: 21 Maps.

Eastern Front
Spring & Summer: 57 Maps;
Autumn: 29 Maps;
Winter: 43 Maps.

Total maps: 185.
(To disable this constraint, set the maps_per_front variable in the conquest.txt file to false)

Fixed some minor bugs.

Added AI Faction Attack System (AFAS) - (AI_attack and AI_attack_interval variables in conquest.txt);
Improved the movement algorithm for the AI (AFMS);
Fixed some minor bugs;

With AFAS, which is added to AFMS (AI Faction Movement System), the first version of dynamic AI interaction is completed. It will be improved and strengthened over time.

How does AFAS work?
In a time interval ranging from 1 to 3 virtual days (modifiable at your risk with the AI_attack_interval variable), the AI checks if there are advantageous situations to attack the Player's Battalions, evaluating the Type, Cost, off-map Support , the support of other Battalions and more. Assigns priorities and executes the highest. This new System changes all your strategies, forcing you to make choices with greater strategic vision, before facing tactical battles (GoH environment).
Whenever the AI engages you in combat, you will only have 3 possible choices:
A) Accept the battle and then move to the tactical field (GoH);
B) Refuse the battle under penalty of annihilation of your Battalion;
C) Where possible, make a retreat.
