# Changes made in Mod v1.12
# ########################
# Updated for compatibility with Stellaris v3.12.2
# Revised the Land Appropriation policy so that it is available from the start of the game, and can be accessed by gestalt empires.
# Fixes megacorps not being able to use Hostile Takeover casus belli based on branch offices in subject's or overlord's territory, without commercial pact or federation.
# Winning an Assert Overlordship wargoal will now force the losing vassal to be much more loyal for a period of time.

Update: 9 Jan, 2024 @ 6:15pm

# Changes made in Mod v1.11
# ########################
# Fixed a bug in vanilla where the "aggressive interference" pre-FTL policy was ignored if you didn't have aggressive first contact protocol active towards other empires.

Update: 21 Dec, 2023 @ 3:48pm

# Changes made in Mod v1.10
# ########################
# Updated for compatibility with Stellaris v3.10.4
# Removed part of a change that made Pacifist subjects see "Overlord joins Subject's Wars - Offensive" as extra favorable terms. Pacifists generally can't declare war anyway, so this should not have any value for them. "Defensive" and "All" now have the same value, and "Offensive" will have a negative effect for going against their ethics.

First upload to Steam Workshop.

# Changes made in Mod v1.8
# ########################
# Updated for compatibility with Stellaris v3.8.4

# Changes made in Mod v1.7
# ########################
# Increased modularity of events file structure for compatibility with other mods.

# Changes made in Mod v1.6
# ########################
# Fixed bug where "assert overlordship" wargoal for revolt events was not working properly.
# Normal planetary revolts will add 10 claims to every system for the original owner. No change necessary for machine uprising, as this starts a total war.
# Independence casus belli no longer immediately grants overlord a claim on every subject system.
# Assert overlordship wargoal will result in retaining your vassal mostly as-is (ignoring other claims made) for independence wars. For rebellions, the rebel nation will be destroyed and original owner retains ownership.
# Fixed being able to use "Bring Into The Fold" wargoal against your own overlord, which would have no effect. (Must use Independence first)

# Changes made in Mod v1.5
# ########################
# Updated for compatibility with Stellaris v3.6.1
# Warscore occupation values modified to weight higher value targets more, based on pops and upgraded starbases.
# Tweaked some values for subject resource taxes and subsidies.

# Changes made in Mod v1.4
# ########################
# Compatibility confirmed with Stellaris v3.5.3
# Added vassal agreement options to take a percentage of your vassals' naval capacity, similar to resource contributions.
# Federation experience buffer from v1.3 removed - relocated to mod "relaxed federations".

# Changes made in Mod v1.3
# ########################
# Removed warscore penalty for unoccupied claims with an upgraded starbase (and no planets).
# Reduced the absurd penalty to federation cohesion per empire joining or leaving, so you aren't always guaranteed to lose level 5 every time.
# Also added a buffer of federation experience at level 5, for same purpose as above.
# Relaxed the cap for maximum subjects integrating simultaneously from 1 to 3, if you can afford it.

# Changes made in Mod v1.2
# ########################
# Trade League trade policy values revised back to match both individual specializations in consumer goods and unity, to undo the nerf done in Stellaris v3.5.2 official.

# Changes made in Mod v1.1
# ########################
# Updated for compatibility with Stellaris v3.5.2

# Changes made in Mod v1.0
# ########################
# Many adjustments made to correct major flaws in AI diplomacy system:
# Influence costs of modifying vassal contracts vastly reduced.
# Relative power for deal acceptance weighting limit significantly increased.
# AIs will be much more willing to negotiate trade deals, even if relation penalties make it more difficult (it won't be a permanent outright "NO" in all cases anymore).
# Several related balancing changes.
