Changes in the balance:

- AI behavior has been changed: division patterns, decision selection, construction, research.
Previously, AI was too perfect, now it is more archaic and spreads its attention to different areas of development.

- Laws on the mobilization of the population and industry can now be selected upon reaching a certain date, the remaining requirements (war support, fighting in a war, etc.) have been removed.
The effects of the laws themselves have been changed.

- The cost of factories and military plants has been increased.

- Factories and the number of starting divisions for each country have been changed to equalize the chances in the new system of wars.

- Especially strong countries are weakened.

- Daily increase in political power has been changed from 2 to 1.5


- Focus branches of countries without full content have been adapted and extended.
- Added focus icons for the initial focuses of Birobidzhan and Novosibirsk.

Forgot to mention it in the last update:

-All tags of countries that conflict with the regular game have been completely replaced, thanks to this fix the bug with the lack of flags of the countries was fixed.

- New mechanics of border conflicts have been added.
For 150 command resource, you can start a border conflict with any neighbor and, if you win, you can completely take over the enemy state, or, if the enemy has only one state left, completely annex it.

- Three New Warlords Have Been Added: Samara, Yugra, And The Patriotic Army Of The East.
The general appearance of the game map was, all in all, okay, but some places on it clearly seemed empty. New warlords will fill these empty spaces and reduce the boundaries of the warlords that were too big, as well as bring a little more variety to the gameplay.
No more additions of warlords are planned right now, except for the division of Ryazan into two parts. This option is still being considered.

- Additional Focuses And Icons For Neostalinist Novgorod

- Added focus icons for starting trees in Kirov, Sverdlovsk, Yugra, Norilsk, Petersburg, Ryazan.

- Fixed a bug that prevented divisions from attacking in the area of one particular province in Komi.

- Minor changes in the distribution of warlord territories in the South.

- A new event about Navalny's escape.

- Additional Localization Improvements.

- Rublin Was Not Removed From The Game.

There are two news regarding the development. First, I decided not to torment myself by trying to write a hundred thousandth event about starving Magadan children, and do what I do best, producing icons. I have done about 80 focus icons of pretty good quality, as it seems to me, in a few days, I think it's a pretty good result. And, no matter how difficult it is, this way the development goes much faster.

The development plan for today is as follows: I give at least some minimal content to all countries that do not have any content at all. Focus branches, icons, effects, localization of names. Gradually, moving from left to right on the map (or as inspiration prompts), I will fill the countries with content and, thus, add variety to the game. Thus, there will be no more blank countries in the game.
If everything goes well, then, of course, I will return to these countries later, and begin to deepen their content, history, and so on.

The second news is that My external drive, on which I kept all the content related to the mod, stopped working. At all. Forever.
As it is not so difficult to guess, all the sources, templates, notes, files, icons, prepared superevents, and so on and so forth, that i have managed to accumulate over the two long years of work, went into oblivion along with the disk.
Is it demoralizing? Yes.
Is it inconvenient? Yes.
It's over, bros? Well... In general, no. I still have the knowledge and skill needed, so I will continue to work, but now I have to re-search for convenient pictures, create templates, customize effects, search for sounds for events, and so on, and so forth, and this can slow down the process.

P.S.: It's a very strange feeling when real prototypes of mod characters go away so often.
Omsk already has its own content, maybe it's time to do Sverdlovsk?

This update was made to add long-awaited stability to the game, and save you from crashes.

Hopefully...

- I have completed the work on my correction of errors in the mod. Now there are a whole 1000 fewer errors in the error log.
All the problems with the map that caused the crashes must be solved. I guess.
I tested 5 full games from the beginning to the end of the Mandate war, and I didn't have crashes in any of them.
If you feel that infuriating crashes disappeared, write to me so that I could be happy for you and for myself.
If the crashes remained, write about it too. I'm going to look for the next reason for these problems.

- At the moment, I have slightly weakened the AI. Making it incredibly smart and, at the same time, not finishing the full balancing of the mod was a... small mistake... Right now, bot is making weaker divisions.

- Minor changes to the mechanics known as "The End".
This is the mechanics that influences countries in the form of a national spirit, if they take part in the war that is only between AI, without the participation of a real player. It was created for the old system of declaring wars, as a helping feature that did not allow AI to get stuck in the war forever, allowing, with the help of a gradual reduction in the surrender limit of both sides, to quickly identify the winner.
It so happened that the new war declaration system needs such mechanics much less, and rather, instead of helping, it harms the balance and the player, adding an advantage to bots (Guaranteed unification in time), while the player is forced to fight against time, breaking through enemy defense chains, relying only on his own strength.
So far, I have reduced the rate of lowering the Surrender Limit by exactly half. Now the bot will have to fight longer and spend its equipment, depleting divisions.
In the future, gradually, I plan to bring the rate of this decrease to the minimum values so that the gameplay would also be difficult for bots.
It's not just the player who has to suffer, right?

An unplanned sudden update.

- Fixed bugs in Chita. The focus rewards are balanced and updated. A couple of new events have been added. Several world events have been added.

- Strong changes in the balance of countries.
The starting laws of the countries have been changed. Starting divisions, factories. Some effects of focus trees. Now the powers of the Moscow region pose a much lesser threat. (Somewhere, one Crimean Empire rejoices, because it no longer has to defend itself against the superior forces of Smolensk.)

- Improvement of AI.
Yes, I removed the cheats from the AI, and now it fights only on its own, but after all, endless spam by the garbage militia is not interesting to anyone, right?
Now it will be more difficult to play, the AI has learned how to improve its divisions. (And you should too. In this modification, the quality of divisions is hundreds of times stronger than the quantity).
