Fixed a bug where Broly would let go of the opponent before the kick hit, which caused the kick to miss if Broly was moving (e.g. falling or standing on a moving platform)

Uspecial
Uspecial startup increased from 7 to 12
When Uspecial is cancelled with a downwards airdodge, airdodge speed is significantly increased. This allows Broly to use Uspecial, airdodge down and use a grounded attack

Basic Summary
In this patch, Broly's air abilities have been greatly improved, with attacks being given faster startup, more knockback, better hitboxes and other various adjustments.
Some of his other attacks have also been made more consistent

Bugfixes and Non-Gameplay
Fixed a bug where, if multiple Brolys (Brolies? Broli?) were in a match, the Brolys with higher player numbers would be unable to use Super attacks and Ultimate attack.
Added a sound when Broly is selected on the character select screen

General Changes
If Broly dashes for more than 40 frames, he gains unbreakable armour until he stops dashing. This likely won’t have a significant impact on gameplay most of the time, but it may have niche uses on larger stages.

Nspecial
Increased knockback scaling of melee counter from 0.6 to 0.8.
Increased knockback scaling of projectile counter from 0.6 to 0.74.

Fspecial
Added the ability to jump cancel the endlag of the attack in the air. This substantially improves Broly’s recovery.
When the opponent is in a combo, Fspecial now has 5 frames less startup than normal. This makes comboing into Fspecial slightly easier.

Ultimate Attack
Increased self damage from 1 every 3 frames to 3 every 4 frames (max self damage from 30 to 44)
Increased damage per frame from 6 to 9 to make it more effective against workshop characters with unfairly large health bars.
Adjusted some visual effects.

Detailed Patch Notes
General Changes
Added a second possible sound effect that can play for most attacks. These can range from different intonations of the same word (eg Nspecial) to completely different dialogue (eg Fspecial).
Adjusted the speed of the walk animation to better match the speed of the walk
Added step sound effects
Increased weight (changed knockback multiplier from 0.95 to 0.8). Broly now lives noticeably longer
Energy gain reduced by 20%. Broly was getting access to Supers too easily. This fixes that.
Added the ability to store a second bar of energy. Energy gain is significantly reduced for the second bar, and using Nsuper always uses all energy without gaining additional invincible time.

Jab
Increased extra hitpause from 3 frames to 4 frames. This allows for slightly easier combos.

Utilt
Increased damage of lower two hitboxes from 5 to 7
Increased damage of uppermost hitbox from 4 to 8

Fstrong
Increased damage from 7 to 9

Dstrong
Increased damage from 7 to 10

Nair
Increased hitbox size to allow a falling Nair to hit grounded opponents, unless they’re really short. For example, this attack can hit Zetterburn now.
Adjusted the timing of the voiceline to more accurately match the animation.

Fair
Added a second hitbox on Broly’s body to prevent the attack from missing at close range.

Dair
Increased spike hitbox damage from 6 to 7
Decreased landing lag from 12 frames to 9 frames. Allows for easier combos from the spike hitbox (eg Dair -> Fspecial -> Wavedash -> Ustrong for 21%).

Fspecial
Increased body hitbox damage from 2 to 3
Made the body hitbox extend further back into his body to make it hit close opponents more consistently.

Dspecial
Increased damage from 7 to 8

Uspecial
Added soft armour to make Broly harder to bully offstage.
Increased initial upwards velocity from 11 to 13, resulting in a noticeable increase in height.


Ultimate Attack
In this patch, Broly has been given an ultimate attack. When Broly has two full bars of energy (as shown by a flashing red bar), this attack replaces Nsuper (Barrier). When used, Broly starts charging up, burning through his energy and taking constant damage. Broly has projectile invincibility while charging, so the only way to stop his attack is by directly hitting him before he is finished. After a total of 110 frames (a fairly long time), Broly releases a massive explosion that will almost certainly kill every opponent regardless of percent. This explosion cannot be avoided by rolling, air dodging or parrying.

While this attack’s power is essentially limitless, Broly ends up in a really bad position if he is interrupted, as he can take up to 30% self damage and burn through potentially over a bar of energy.
