Update: 14 Jun @ 7:17am

Changelog: Release 3.7

Bug Fixes:
Fixed Large CT Quirk.
Heavy Ferro weight corrected to 24% more armor per ton vs 20%.
Adjusted descriptions to better represent the changes made in YARQE.

General Changes: (Includes any changes or new Equipment/Quirks)
Returned to work on YAGDM mechs. Made a ton of fixes and improvements to the Mechs. Too many fixes to list but this included applying correct standards
to quirks, adding the many missing Tabletop/Lore quirks assigned to chassis, correctly scaling mech sizes, setting correct engine caps and the list continues.
YARQE has always doubled as a patch mod as well for mods it affects.

Heat sink restrictions now exist for most heat sinks. Still less restrictive than the dedicated mod.

YALM Mechs updated and fixes applied to Firemoth/Dasher II.

Updated all the Classic mechs without the YARQE treatment. Classic Mech Collection Quirk Pack is 100% redundant and not compatible with YARQE.

Fixed and updated a lot of mechs from various mods.

Massive re-work on hero mech quirks. Defensive bonuses are more unique and tend to focus on offsetting weaknesses of that chassis or provide
damage reduction vs specific weapons.

Adjusted/Overhauled some equipment to mirror the changes i made in YAEC-R. A lot of changes were also made to coincide with YAEC-HE. If any
equipment changed for seemingly no reason, its likely to have better TT accuracy and parity with the current YAEC-Mod derivatives.

Removed Ferro-Lamellor reduced damage taken from 1 damge projectiles. YARW provides this armor more capabilities such as immunity to TACs.
Heavy Ferro armor bonus removed. Damage reduction improved to -12% from -5%.
Ballistic-Reinforced Armor set to tabletop weight. Crit slots = TT -2 much like most armors in YARW. Reduces Mech mortars & artillery damage by -10%.
Reactive reduces ballistic weapons by -10% vs -50% but it now applies -50% damage taken to artillery and mech mortars.

Flat Buffs:
-

Flat Nerfs:
- Ferro Carbide Armor bonus removed. Also cannot combine with Harjel.
- Hardened-Ferro armor bonus reduced to +30% vs +50%. (Does not have special anti-TAC properties within the 5.2 YARW Update)
- Modular armor set to be proportionally accurate to Tabletop.

Version notes:
Some of the armor changes were made in mind with Yet Another Revamped Weapon's recent Through Armor critical system. Specific armors have
special properties vs TACs/TAC specialized ammo/weapons. THE TAC SYSTEM ONLY APPLIES WHEN USING YARW!
- Ferro-Carbide, Ferro-Lamellor and Anti-Ablative armors are immune to crits.
- Hardended Armor reduces crit chance by 1/2 and prevents tier-3 crits. (Does not apply to Hardended-Ferro)
- Hardended Armor reduces crit chance by 1/4 and prevents tier-3 crits. (Combines with hardened armor)
Anti-Ablative armor is only seen in YAEC-R but may be added to YARQE or other mods for those not using YAEC-R.

Some mechs still have not been fully updated. Will have to wait at least 2 weeks before more work can continue. Notably, many of the YAGDM Ultra-lights
and YAFV still needs a lot of variant updates. Next 3.8 update should round out anything left unfinished/WIP.

Additional editions such as TT accuracte and less Heatsink restrictions will be released at a later time.

Update: 20 Feb @ 11:59pm

Changelog: Release 3.6

Bug Fixes:
Fixed a few mechs having typos in linking to their quirks

Mod Changes: (Includes any changes or new Equipment/Quirks)
Updated a very small amount of mechs.

Flat Buffs:
Heat Dissapating armor no longer has a damage penalty except towards melee by 30%. Also set to be 67% vs 50% resistant to heat damage.
Solaris Quirk: Range nerfs removed. Added -7% armor damage taken. Structure costs decreased from 30% to 20%. Added -30% refit time.

Flat Nerfs:
Solaris Quirk: Accuracy Quirks removed. Cooldown reduction lowered to -5% from -10%. Armor costs increased to 20% more from 10%

Version notes:
Solaris quirks seemed powerful for ballistics and missiles but bad for energy due to the higher heat build up and reduced range. Quirk is now more
generalized now.

Update: 22 Jan @ 11:13am

Version 3.5
Changelog: Release 3.5

Bug Fixes:
Fixed Nanuq quirk name to not be mispelled as Nanqu. Issue derives from YALM.

Mod Changes: (Includes any changes or new Equipment/Quirks)
Made the various fixed equipment seen in different mods consistent with each other.

Added new compact Gyros for early game until the canonical version arrives.

Added Extended Lens for TAG gear. Extends the TAG range by 33.33% for 1 slot and 0.5 tons. Likely to get re-tuned later on.

Ported and overhauled the AS7-BIG Loadout patch and gave the mech its own unique gyro.

Worked on MA/Wolves mech quirks to match normal chassis variants outside those mods. This is still very much a WIP!

Updated: Mad-Cat MKII Hero and a few variants,
Archer: Condensed unique quirks and updated the buffs slightly.

Flat Buffs:
Fixed Standard structures got an increase to their damage reduction quirk. IS Fixed Standard armor as well.
Archer: Unique quirk offers armor damage reduction to torso and head instead of flat +2 armor.
Conquistador: Refit time reduced instead of increased.

Flat Nerfs:
Clan fixed Endo/Ferro no longer has damage reduction buffs.
AS7-BIG is easily one of, if not the most OP mechs in the game. Its nerf comes in a fixed gyro, but also some slight changes to its quirks.
RISC: Costs to repair and maintain increased.

Version notes:
Completed quirks for the Mechassault/Wolves mechs will be for a later update. Its been a major time consumption and a road-block for this update which is
why work on it will continue later.

Update: 18 Dec, 2024 @ 12:28am

rsion 3.4
Changelog: Release 3.4

Bug Fixes:
Gave Thunderbolt-IIC its own Durability quirk to patch the incorrect max armor values of the base mech (Not caused by YARQE).

Piranha now has Clan quirk

Updated: Eyrie, GRF-1A, Grizzly, Kit-Fox, Sentinel, Linebacker, MLX-EBD, YAISM-Rifleman, RFL-IIC Hero, and Most of the Classic mechs.

Rescaled more mechs for better consistency

Large CT quirk: Now provides flat damage reduction instead of increased armor + structure.

Condensed some quirks into unique quirks to reduce quirk bloat. WHM-BLK as an example doesnt have "Kitchen Sink" since its built into the hero quirk now.

Flat Buffs:
Enforcer: Given unique chassis quirk that buffs CT durability and merges the buffs of the Akimbo quirk + other small stat boosts.
Maddog given Improved Targeting-Medium durability buffs and +100 sensor range.

Flat Nerfs:
-

Version notes:
Enforcers should better match up with the other 50 tonners such as the Hunchback.

Changelog: Release 3.1

Bug Fixes:
Quirks only version was properly uploaded this time.

Mod Changes: (Includes any changes or new Equipment/Quirks)
Updated all the Superheavy mechs. Engine size limit is based on using 2 engines. New Super-Heavy mech quirk to somewhat put them in line without
straight up nerfing them (they get some neat bonuses but it's mostly nerfs to economy and mobility related stats)

Updated not too many more mechs.

Version notes:
Support for YAGDM will no longer continue, or at least for the time being. I've decided to not invest a lot of time into mods I do not use myself.
So what does this mean for YARQE and YAGDM? The mods should still work fine together, and anything that currently exists between YARQE and
YAGDM will remain. There just won't be any adjustments/fixes to YAGDM/YAEC-R anytime soon. This will leave discrepancies such as mechs not
updated by YARQE may not have their TT quirks and the set quirks in YAGDM can be fairly unbalanced or at least, inconsistent without YARQE.
Additionally, a lot of mechs have still not yet been properly re-scaled but this is with maybe an exception or two, NOT to do with YARQE.
So, if any mechs feel inconsistent due to wildly different approaches to the mech quirks, its likely due to YARQE not touching up on that mech before this
last update to still include YAGDM mechs. That said, most of the non-YAML quirks for YAGDM are directly from or offshoots of quirks that exist in YARQE.

Reasoning for this: YARQE takes too much time and focus away from other modding projects. With the recent overhauls to YARW, modding in new features
and capabilities such as 8 different firing modes vs 2 for weapons takes an immense amount of time and effort. Having two massive modding projects is just
not viable anymore. Patches to YAEC-R is also too time consuming and can be/is a compatibility nightmare to fix it all to the standards YARQE has in place.

This also means that previously planned changes to better merge YARQE and YAEC-R will not happen. Example: removal of certain pieces of equipment as
to not cause overlap with YAEC-R. Support will continue with YAEC still, though there are no plans for anything new at this time.

Updates still may be on the table for YAGDM and occasionally on other mech mods such as Classic Mechs even though it's not my cup of tea.
Mods that will continue to see support: YACM, YAISM, YAFV, YASV (whenever its successor releases), YAMM (MF), YALM, YACHM, Various mechs by
Mace24de and mechs by Kodiakj (I may be missing a couple, but thats still most of the mech mods). I still would like to finish updating Classic mechs if I
can find the time. At least there aren't many variants for that mod, which is the main reason i'm still interested in doing so.

Update: 1 Nov, 2024 @ 12:20am

Version 3.0
Changelog: Release 3.0

Bug Fixes:
Minor fixes. Some mechs had their scales adjusted again.

Mod Changes: (Includes any changes or new Equipment/Quirks)
Updated some more mechs, fairly small update. Figured it was better to upload a slightly updated version rather than wait. (YARQE is not top modding
priority right now due to the new mechanics being added to YARW taking so long)

Flat Buffs:
-

Flat Nerfs:
-

Version notes:
This update is just the latest version of what i've worked on. So not much has changed from the previous update.

Known issues not fixed on this version:
Still lots of more mechs to update. Current goal is to get 1 update out each week on the days i'm not working/have other obligations.

Update: 5 Oct, 2024 @ 10:01am

Version 2.9.9
Changelog: Release 2.9.9

Bug Fixes:
Lancelot LNCLT-C2 now has Faction quirk

Mod Changes: (Includes any changes or new Equipment/Quirks)
Going through as many mech variants in my current updated mod list and updated/maintained/adjusted a huge amount of them.
Revamped many mechs with overhauls or re-works to their quirks. Most specific changes are not listed on this changelog due to taking too much time.
Still working on more mechs, was hoping to get down the list more but got occupied with IRL work and updating YARW.

Firestorm autoloader has been re-worked. Is now more focused on buffing IS LRMs to compete with Clan variants by having overwhelmingly
more damage output. It no longer applies to Clan Missiles

Flat Buffs:
Comstar faction quirk economy quirk penalties reduced
Centurion given BattleFist-LA quirk
Crab given Zombie-Mech quirk
Champion given Minimal arms and different quirks per variant (usually the shield arms quirk)
Firestorm autoloader heat penalty reduced to +5% from +7.5%

Flat Nerfs:
Akimbo2 quirk: Arm structure reduced to +2 vs +3 and heat reduction set to -3.333% from -5%.
Comstar faction quirk structure damage reduction reduced to -5% from -12.5%
Centurion left arm armor bonus reduced to +12 from +16
Removed Champion Zombie-Mech quirk
Firestorm autoloader now has a +7.5% spread penalty and lockon time reduced to -10% from -15%

Version notes:
Massive thanks to Furo for the new awesome YARQE Mod page art/logo!

If using YAGDM's beta, remember to delete its mech.json in the YAGDM_2 resource folder, or download the YARQE_YAGDM-Patch after each
YAGDM Beta download!

Known issues not fixed on this version:
Still lots of more mechs to update. Current goal is to get 1 update out each week on the days i'm not working/have other obligations.
