Big Court Dilemma Update
PATCH NOTES STILL IN PROGRESS

Dilemmas
  • Many new Court Intrigue dilemmas, some with several stages
  • Some dilemmas now trigger intelligently based on circumstances in your campaign
  • New faction-unique celebratory dilemma that triggers after you begin to dominate the Court
  • Revised some old dilemmas to be more robust and interesting, with more complex code to determine conditions and rewards
  • Rite of Asuryan will sometimes trigger a Court Intrigue dilemma

Ambassadors
  • Outposts with your High Elven allies will provide a unique political buff related to that ally's culture. For instance, alliance with Saphery will reduce the cost of White Tower seats
  • Outposts with Wood Elven allies reduce the cost of Evercourt seats (due to shared worship of Isha)
  • Outposts built in certain special locations grant unique ambassadors (regardless of what faction owns the location). Examples include Marienburg (Elftown), the abandoned Star Tower in Lustria, and Turtle Isles.
  • An Outpost built in the territory of the Fay Enchantress grants a discount to the Priestess of Ladrielle Seat... for some mysterious reason

Political Traits
  • Added several politically-focused Traits that certain generic Heroes and Lords may be generated with

Bugfix
  • Dilemmas no longer display random unrelated factions

Update
Seat Bonuses
  • The Master of the White Tower (Tier 3 White Tower Seat) now grants a custom Army Ability called "Convocation of the White Tower," which temporarily empowers spellcasting based on how many total casters are present, while increasing their move speed. While this serves as an overall nerf compared to the old, somewhat OP vanilla Army Ability that had been used previously, it helps support the use of more than one mage in an army, which is thematic to High Elves

Thrones
  • Slightly increased the cumulative Throne cost increase incurred when you already own multiple Thrones

Bugfix
  • The Martial Kinship ability granted by the Ranger General now appropriately grants +3% missile damage, instead of +200%, as it accidentally had been set to in the recent patch. Thank you to evcastello for the report. o_O

Minor Update
  • Fixed issue with Torinubar's Phoenix Court skin
  • When choosing to confederate a faction by purchasing its Throne, the mouseover text warns you more clearly that this can result in Insults if the faction still possesses Seats

Update 1.11
A medium update focused on continuing to adjust the flow of Grandeur and seats throughout the game.

Grandeur Rebalance
This update continues to make the Court more strategic by rewarding possession of Seats, versus hoarding of Grandeur for confederation. It also seeks to improve midgame Grandeur gain slightly without worsening snowballing.
  • Allied Outpost buildings gain an additional Grandeur per level, reinforcing their role as one of the best sources
  • Vassalizing instead of Confederating refunds some Grandeur over time, in a continued effort to make it a valid strategic option.
  • Grandeur sources that do not snowball (technology and Ritual of Asuryan) have been buffed slightly
  • Slightly decreased the cumulative cost increase for Seats (which accrues when the seats are usurped repeatedly), to slow the price increase and keep Seats in play longer; may decrease further in the future.

Faction Bonuses
  • Many factions now have custom post-battle options for their personal enemies, along with new icons, giving bonus Grandeur when using the Execute Captives option on that enemy, as follows:
  • Yvresse vs Greenskins, Avelorn vs Daemons, Saphery vs Tzeentch, Cothique vs Norsca, Caledor vs Dwarfs/Chaos Dwarfs, and ALL High Elves vs Dark Elves/Slaanesh
  • Nagarythe and Chrace hate Dark Elves even more than other High Elves do

Seats
  • Grand Marshal and Royal Seneschal now give discounts to the Thrones of the Outer and Inner Kingdoms of Ulthuan, respectively
  • Chief Handmaiden now additionally grants a scaling increase to Campaign Movement for (non-embedded) Handmaiden heroes
  • Tiny buffs to some of the weakest seats

Fixes
  • Fixed an overlapping ID number that caused Nurgle to be bumped off the list of factions that cannot trade (thank you to MedicinalMan for this unusual report)
