@Adan - I don't really intend to include that End Times lore about Malekith. I think the elves weren't always treated very well during that storyline. Thanks for your enthusiasm though.
@Oh_Man[TFE] - More of that is coming, though it might wait for the new High Elf DLC at this point.
@cansary - It's almost 100% certain that is unrelated to this mod.
@Zets - It's important to balance a mod like this around the fact that in the vanilla game, the player has NONE of these effects. Losing easy confederation is a significant downside that allows a lot of leeway, but the mod is not meant to make the High Elves overpowered. I do think some of the seats could use a little extra power (the Isha seat comes to mind), but at this point the DLC is certain to cause a large overhaul of this mod regardless.
If you're using minimum amount of mods, but still see that bug post a script log in the Modding Den Discord's skeleton_crew
i played with this mod alone and after a while the button to access the tower disappeared along with the grandeur resource on the top bar, not sure what happened as it was working perfectly fine for the first 20 turns or so
@cagatakaraca - It's likely it was one of your other mods that wasn't updated yet, and was causing issues with script.
@Louie04k - A high compliment, thank you.
@ObiKron25 - Yeah, I wouldn't.
All faction-unique events also feature unique art, often featuring official art of your faction's homeland or leader. Some even feature a short voiceover from your Lord!
There are also lots of events that only appear for a GROUP of factions. A simple example is that one event involves your Lord interacting with Eltharion, so it does not appear if you are Eltharion. Others involve deciding a dispute between two different Kingdoms, so they do not appear if you are playing as one of those Kingdoms. This means you will have a slightly different pool of dilemmas no matter what faction you play.
Over time I'd like to continue to add faction-unique dilemmas to keep deepening the sense of immersion.
If you play as one of the Ten Kingdoms, you are able to claim your own Throne. This triggers a special dilemma where your Kingdom throws a festival celebrating its culture. Again, all text and effects are faction-unique.
If you claim all Thrones and Seats, you achieve total political victory. This event is also faction-unique.
@Barstow - That's a good suggestion.
@GeeCeeJr, jude/bambo - Sorry, that was a bit of a phantom update for a technical reason, you won't notice any feature changes.
@Kusika - That's exactly the sort of experience I was shooting for, glad to hear it.
Are there any faction-specific events? Like, stuff that would only appear if I played Eltharion, or Alith Anar?
My intention with the dilemmas in this mod is to explore Asur culture and politics; in this case, the topic is the taboo against outside romance. Miao Ying presents an unprecedented exception that tests this rule, as a dragon in humanoid form, but we learn that even WITH this exception, it's almost impossible. Maybe it is impossible? I don't want to spoil the event series, but even the best ending has a mixture of fear and hope. In other endings, the rule wins again, even with a dragon.
Thus, you're not going to see an unambiguous happily-ever-after of Miao Ying joining the Asur in this mod. As I work on the Imrik-only version of the chain, it is being expanded and you'll get more content, and I do think you'll like it if you are rooting for Imrik. But in the nobledark world of this setting, you have to fight really hard for good things to happen, and there's a cost.
@The Mightiest Pocket Square - To be honest, I consider the mod 100% lore friendly. And like Warhammer Fantasy, sometimes that allows having fun! But while the Imrik/Miao Ying event chain is fun, my intention in writing it is to explore something I like about this setting, especially in its earlier editions: it (usually) honors its rules.
One such rule is that High Elves consider humans more like a different, lower species than a different race. Breaking a rule has a short term benefit: it's exciting, and everyone wants a human to get together with an elf. But maintaining the rule has a long term benefit: the setting becomes more real, and the rule can continue to influence stories.
@Mortarch of Blood - You know you are fighting the good fight against power creep when people release buff submods.
@Naiva Prism - Thank you! Great compliment.
@Augustus II - The seasons already are synched up with the art of the Tower, but I do sometimes play with ideas for seasonal political events and such.

@Barstow - I was distracted making Squigs, but let me get back to work on that...
@Catboy Master Chief - This is a pretty major mod to turn off mid-campaign; we can't really offer technical support if you do that.
@dominion_choir - Check out the FAQ; ask more questions there if you need more help.
