The Wailing Maiden update

General changes

NEW: Drop info: Client messages will appear for important events (Witch/Tank killed)
Examples
- sinner killed Witch with a headshot
- sinner recived 60 buffer HP from Witch
- sinner has been REVIVED by Tank
- Tank rewards: 1 Defibrilator + 1 First aid kit
- sinner killed Hunter. Rewards: 6 true HP + 11 buffer HP (Maximum)
- sinner killed Spitter. Reward: 11 buffer HP (already at max true HP)

Custom Specials Infected numbers
Lifesteal should now work even when there are multiple Specials of the same type at the same area. (up to 3 SI, 3 Witches and unlimited Tanks)
- Example: (02)Charger should still now grant the same bonus as Charger, while displaying the same message

Boss changes

Witch

- REWORK: Tear of the Wailing Maiden: Killing the Witch now drops 1 pain pills instead of 1 medkit
- REWORK: Scream of the Wailing Maiden: Killing the Witch with a headshot will now give a flat 30 buffer HP instead of the old formula. Will still revive if killer is incapacitated
- NEW: Rage of the Wailing Maiden: Killing the Witch (no headshot needed) will grant the killer Adrenaline effects for 15 seconds, or REVIVE and grant 60s if killer is incapacitated
- Burn time decreased from 21 to 20

Witch has been giving too much for her current power level. This should fix it for now. She will be giving more rewards later, but I just gotta figure out how to make her more deadly first

Tank
- True HP reward on 3rd strike decreased from 80 to 40

Specials
NEW: Each Specials Infected now has their own reward amount for headshot kills
Rewards currently balanced for how hard it is to land a headshot on them

Charger
- Rewards adjusted to 13 true HP + 2 buffer HP
- Health increased from 750 to 800

Spitter
- Rewards adjusted to 5 true HP + 10 buffer HP

Smoker
- Rewards adjusted to 8 true HP + 8 buffer HP
- Shackles: Fatigue rate decreased from 4500 to 4100

Hunter
- Rewards adjusted to 6 true HP + 11 buffer HP

Jockey
- Rewards adjusted to 9 true HP + 6 buffer HP
- Chemical rage: Speed increased from 300 to 330

Boomer
- Rewards adjusted to 3 true HP + 12 buffer HP
- NEW: Rot: Vomit now does 20 damage to survivors and will set them on fire

Tank was too fucking strong in small areas. Killing the Tank gives A LOT of perks, but should not be near impossible

The Immortal update

Tank
- NEW: Refresher: Resets incap counter (removes black and white status). Meaning you get 2 more incaps before true death
- NEW: Banner: Grants adrenaline effect for 30 seconds
- NEW: Cheese: Will now come as a Medkit if killer is dead when Tank is killed, along with the Aegis Defib
- Movement speed increased from 210 to 220

Current Roshan Tank summary:
+ Aegis: drops Defib if killer isn't on 3rd strike
+ Cheese: grants 80 HP if killer is alive or drops a Medkit if killer is dead
+ Blessing: revives incap/ledge/standing
+ Refresher: resets incap counter
+ Banner: gives adrenaline effect (no buffer HP)

Kill reward combos sorted by killer's current status:
- Healthy: Aegis + Cheese (always)
+ Over 100 HP after Cheese: overheal
+ Under 100 HP after Cheese: Banner
=> meaning killer gets to keep the overheal if Cheese heals them to over 100 HP, but will be given a Banner if they are still under 100 after getting Cheese
- Incapped: Aegis + Blessing + Cheese
- 3rd strike: Refresher + Cheese + Banner
- Dead: Aegis + Cheese

Yes these rewards are named after Dota 2 Roshan drops, and are also grouped in a way that resembles his day/night drops

Bug update: if you survive a Tank rock in RE by having more than 100 true HP, all healing will be counted as Special rewards, and Tank kill will not grant its intended bonus

Witch
- Buffer HP bonus increased from 20 to 35
=> Killing the Witch (on RE) is too dangerous to not be rewarded a bit more nicely. The decision to whether or not to use the Tear drop will still have to made.
- Can no longer break nearby Smoker tongue
I'm considering a Witch rework to no longer include a Medkit drop. Will reach a decision soon after I play a few more maps.

Smoker
- Fatigue rate increased from 3000 to 4500 (yes I know I just nerfed this last patch)
=> Root time after released increased from 0.65s to 2s
- Tongue cooldown after hit decreased from 15 to 12
- Tongue cooldown after miss decreased from 15 to 12
- Tongue no longer breakable by Witch

Boomer
- Vomit blind time increased from 5 to 10
=> Boomer hasn't received much BBQ bacon burger love yet, so I'm making failing to kill him at the right distance and time much more punishing
I actually wanted to make bile do damage, but then I found the Leaker cvar, and now here we are

Headshot healing

NEW: Unlocked buffer overheal for Specials.
=> Specials buffer HP will now always apply as long as killer has equal or less than max HP

- Fixed Specials healing cancelling out Witch buffer overheal

Tank
- Movespeed reduced from 220 to 210 (default)

Hunter
- Restored pounce and missed voice. He will still be quiet when spawning and lurking.

Charger
- Health reduced from 800 to 750
I actually forgot to set Charger health since release, so now it's actually harder to kill him xD

Smoker
- Movespeed reduced from 300 to 270
- Reduced fatigue rate from 4000 to 3000

Spitter
- Health reduced from 250 to 200

Leaker
- Spawn chance increased from 10% to 15%

The Blood Harvest update

NEW: Killing zombies with a headshot will now grant HP to the killer
Works with all weapons that can produce a headshot

Note to modders: After 7.21zd (finished and in testing Jul 13) the lifesteal script will no longer be pure lifesteal, meaning it will contain code for other parts of the mod. use this ripped version instead

NEW: Scream of the Wailing Maiden: Killing the Witch with a headshot while INCAPPED will REVIVE and the killer 15 true HP + 20 buffer HP
- True overheal: does not happen
- Buffer overheal: yes

Tank: 80 true HP
New: Blessing of the Immortal: Last hitting the Tank while INCAPPED/HANGING will REVIVE and grant the killer 80 true HP

There is no way to headshot Tanks, so just killing a 23k HP Tank is enough for a good reward.

Explanation

True overheal: Killer can receive true HP bonuses when at 100 true HP or more
Buffer overheal: Killer can receive buffer HP bonuses when at 100 total HP or more

Meaning

Commons
+ will not give any bonus if killer has 100 true HP
+ can not heal killer to over 100 total HP

Specials
+ will only give true HP if killer has less than ( < ) 100 true HP
+ can not heal killer to more than 100 true HP
+ will give buffer HP only if killer has equal or less than ( =< ) 100 true HP

Witch and Tank
+ will always grant their rewards

Why add this feature ?
- 7.21 main script provides all guns with 100% crosshair accuracy, so this is to utitlize that
- I like passive healing, but that will make healing items go unused. This is to force players to work for their healing, or bite the bullet and use their items.
- Encourage gun usage and prevent melee spam. For some maps I can even run almost the entirety of them and only have to pull my primary out for Specials.
- Balance overbuffed zombies. Yes I did that on purpose knowing I have healing mods and am about to make one.
- Slow down game pace for some players. Rushers can still just melee spam, but they will have to work much harder for the regen
- Indirect forced target practice. My aim got a bit better since I started testing this lmao.

Not so hot fix:
- Jockey: fixed damage being applied too fucking fast

The zombies are a bit too strong without healing mods aren't they. Keep using them healing mods from the L4D:GO script collection for now until I'm done cooking the solution. ETA soon.
