On Nimitz, Kitty Hawk and America both runway catapults are served only by 1 left elevator. In real life, generaly, these catapults can't operate exactly in the same way as bow catapults. Due to proximity of these catapults, there must be a bit more time between launches. That's why one elevator to serve them is enough. Another freed elevator is dedicated only to helis and in consequence operations with planes and helis are able at any time independently on number of launching planes and helis.
On Forrestal runway catapults are served by 2 elevators, so planes and helis operations in some circumstances may collide. Runway elevator is unoperable during launching planes. Implementation the same scheme of operationes as in other US aircraft carriers is possible but leaves only 2 elevators to serve 4 catapults. Effectivnes of such launching operations is too low.

Changed elevators' reaction times. When all elevators are in up position and more than 1 plane/heli is ordered to take-off, lifts start to move down in slighty different moment, so it looks more natural.
