<----- Updates and Additions 3/14/25 ----->

This is a WeaponCore only update, Standard and Vanilla+ have other changes and will get updates at a later date.

Changes:
  • Change the core component on all weapon costs to the Power Cell
  • Made changes to the build costs and component list not only to increase durability a bit, but to adjust the functional percentage which was set to 100% by mistake
  • Increased Shield damage to x10 on all laser ammo
  • Increased Shield damage to x20 on all beam ammo
  • Increased Beam damage from 6f to 25f
  • Increased LAAT Beam turret Elevation rotation from 65/-65 to 70/-70 degrees
  • Increased the LAAT Wing Beam turret rotation to full 360 degrees for both elevation and azimuth rotation
  • WeaponCore setting "damage own grid" is turned off for beam ammo to avoid damage caused by increased rotations

    Note:
    You will still see an explosion if the beam hits its own grid but it will NOT cause any damage. This happens because the turret doesn't stop firing fast enough while moving when its own grid gets in the way.

    Updates:
  • Updated the turret control camera position and angle for all turrets for better line of sight and visual quality.

    Corrections/ Fixes:
  • Corrected the YT1300 Build Stages - They were not only missing the construction material but the first stage model was bad and needed fixing, it has been corrected.
  • Corrected the Tie Aggressor Defense Turret definition to match the required ammo type. It stated the weapon was a light ammo turret when it should've stated it was a heavy ammo turret.

    Updates:
  • Light Ammo Shield damage multiplier increased from 1.5x to 2x
  • Medium Ammo Shield damage multiplier increased from 1.5x to 2.5x
  • Heavy Ammo Shield damage multiplier increased from 1.5x to 3x
  • Beam Ammo Shield damage multiplier increased from 1.8x to 2.5x
  • Increased turret movement speed for the following weapons:
    All HMP Droid Turrets
    All LAAT Turrets
    ARC-170 Rear Turret
    Kom’rk Rear Turret
    Republic Y-Wing Turret
    T47 Rear Turret


    Corrections/ Fixes:
  • Corrected missing material for the Red Laser Projectile. When the projectile was spawned, it was black and had no emissive glow, this happened after the last projectile update.
  • Corrected build cost amounts for the HMP heavy nose turret. The costs were mistakenly copied from the medium turret stats.
  • Corrected missing entry for the Kom’rk Defense turret to VariantGroup and Categories files. This was causing the weapon to be missing from the Mandalorian build Hud menu as well as the scroll feature when the Mandalorian build group is used.
  • Made several materials corrects that were causing bad visuals on several models.
  • Corrected a few mirrored (Right or Left) variant cannons that had the incorrect primary ammo entered in the WeaponID file, this was causing them to fire the wrong color.
  • Corrected build costs on a few weapons that had the incorrect amounts based on their damage type, Ie (Light, Medium, or Heavy.)
  • Corrected text errors in the names and descriptions of several weapons.

    There are still more weapons in the works and they will likely trickle out as the focus now turns toward Ground Vehicle weapons.

<----- Adjustment Update 1/11/25 ----->

Small update to make further adjustment in optimizing functionality. Due to issues with speed and gyro mods, further increases have been made to the laser bolt projectile speed and acceleration.

Here are the following changes made:

  • Max Travel distance was increased from 600m to 1200m
  • Acceleration Per Second was increased from 1000 to 2500
  • Max Speed was increased from 1000 to 1200
  • Max Trajectory was increased from 600 to 1000
  • Max Acceleration was increased from 4000 to 4500

    These changes were made to avoid issues were the projectiles were colliding with the barrel of the weapons causing the weapon to damage it self when firing while traveling or turning at high speeds.

    Base on feed back, possibility that the stationary cannons use of the targeting system may be removed in a future update as it has caused issues.

<----- Adjustment Update 12/18/24 ----->

Update it to make adjustments to correct some minor issues.

Changes are as follows:

  • Decreased terrain damage amount for Medium and Heavy Laser Cannons. Issue was a Voxel damage multiplier line that was missed and was defaulted to 10x. This has been reduced to 1x for medium and 1.1x for heavy weapons.

  • Increase to Laser bolt projectile speed. Players were stating that the laser were too slow.
    - Increased Max Speed from 800 to 1000
    - Increased Acceleration Time Per-tick from 700 to 1000
    - Increased Max Acceleration from 1x to 4x

  • Decrease to all weapons DP/ Damage. Players stated weapons were causing excessive damage too quickly due to dps and rate of fire.
    - Light Weapons from 200dp to 175dp
    - Medium Weapons from 275dp to 225dp
    - Heavy Weapons from 350dp to 275dp
    - Beam Weapons from 6dps to 5dps

    No further changes have been made. Next update will include new weapons. Please give feed back in the comments about these changes and any other issues.
