New portraits and scope, and basically nothing else.

  • Added Holosight + 3x Magnifier combo.
  • Some new extra portraits. Now there is at least enough to fill a squad without repeating faces!

    More content will come at a later date, but for now, this project will be slowing down the development while I focus on my other projects, if you find any bug, error, or something that is broken, don't doubt to report it!


    REBALANCE

  • Not exactly a rebalance, but the holosight now uses the correct image displaying the actual in-game model instead of vanilla.

Version 3.2.1

NEW CONTENT

  • New portraits have been added and replaced the old ones. Following the new default camo, the new portraits feature a desert pattern instead of Flecktarn, that, I know it isn't exactly the first thing you think about when you hear the word "Germany", but let's be honest, it fits better than going in forest colors in the middle of a desert. Expect more to come now that the biggest obstacle that was creating a decent body has been cleared.

    BUG FIXES

  • Added camo name, description and icon for the Interpreter. It was perfectly functional before, but now you won't see a rainbow-colored box when using Camo Selector.
  • Replaced Korporal and Stabskorporal ranks with their proper insignias. I tried to follow the suggestions and recommendations that was given to me, but they didn't look good at all in-game, so I chose clarity over fidelity this time. I hope you guys can forgive me.
  • Suppressed DM11 is now correctly discounted from suppressed weapons when purchased. A small slip, sorry for that, you will get your 2 stars back when you update the mod.
  • Backend work. Given suppressed guns to all units. What does this mean? That you can now copy-paste suppressed guns from one loadout to another. Thanks to alex from the DK2 server for the fix while I was working on other things.

Hotfix for the Medic Bag

  • The Interpreter and Medic icons are slightly smaller. Instead of 64x64 now are 48x48, more fitting for the deploy screen.

  • The Medic found his backpack. He forgot it under the bed before getting into the helicopter.

Important patch, so better pay attention to the changes listed.
These changes aren't completely done because of the sudden v.1.0.5 changes, so bear in mind that some of them are meant to work in tandem with the custom doctrines.


Version 3.1.0

NEW CONTENT

  • Added Medic unit. Just like in any other mod that adds medics, you can heal your troopers if they're nearby.
  • Added Interpreter to each Squad. The Terp is unarmed, so you can't really fight with him, however, has no deployment cost, so you can use those extra deploy nodes that you don't fill with troops. And, what does he do? You can gather intelligence from nearby civilians and surrendered enemies, in the same fashion as CIA works.
  • Added support for Nowheraki Ground Forces armored units. The Panzerfaust 3 will be able to deal with both the BMP-2 and T-72 of this mod without anything extra required.

    You will need to create a new squad to apply these changes! And, because of how the game is built, you will need to create 2 new squads! The first one, will be bug, with the portraits of the interpreters in the 1st Squad Leader and Deputy Leader, and the 2nd, working as intended. Simply remove the first unit you create after confirming the 2nd has been correctly created.


    REBALANCE

  • Backend work. Rearranged binds, gear and other things.
  • Backend work. Fresh squads start with Wüstentarn camo instead of Flecktarn. If you want to change it, you will need In-Game Camo Selector or Trooper Toolbox

    BUG FIXES

  • Added compatibility with base game v.1.0.5 doctrine bahavior.

    REBALANCE

  • P8 now has the correct 15+1 magazine. It was accidentally 13+1 due copying the Spanish USP-9 Compact. Many thanks to antoshq for letting me know.

    BUG FIXES

  • Unlooped the G28 and MG5 reload animations. They were left with the default options and for the game it means "loop it to hell and back", so it has been fixed, indirectly thanks to [✚] Robbe__1's report, so thank you!.

  • Thanks to Ryudo Kaze, the P8 has new sounds for everything, so remeber to thank him!
  • New tracer effects. Pretty much is a copy of vanilla, but now a 30% redder

    REBALANCE

  • After Ryudo Kaze's comment about the MG3 rpm and checking sources once again, it was, indeed, too slow. RoF has been increased to 1300rpm on the MG3.
  • Following this change, the MG3 damage has been reduced, from the 43 points of damage it had, to 38, more in line with vanilla 7.62 GPMG's.

    BUG FIXES

  • Missing animation for MG5 & G28. It wasn't really missing, but it was renamed in some of the patches to increase the compatibility with other mods, and forgot to change it on the guns too. Many thanks to [✚] Robbe__1 and DontFeedTrolls for the reports.
