Version 4.0

  • Now compatible with Alternate Start - Live Another Life!
  • Fixed a bug where Skyrim sometimes closed when more than one ART! mod was subscribed to at the same time.
  • New starting skill bonuses: Alteration and One Handed +15. Archery, Block, Light Armor and Smithing +5.
  • New skill deficit: Alchemy -10.
  • Changed description for Redguard that displays when creating a new character.
  • Changed description for the powers and magic effects that appear in the magic menu.

Version 3.5

  • Made starting spells the same as they are in the vanilla game.

  • Removed the script to change starting spells, which should make the mod more compatible with other mods.

  • Modified the description for the race seen when making a new character. It now reads:

    The most naturally talented warriors in Tamriel, the Redguards of Hammerfell have a hardy constitution, natural resistance to poison and affinity for alteration magic. In combat, they temporarily enchant weapons with fire, frost, shock or speed and quickly regenerate stamina.

VERION 2.0

* Added ability to craft scimitars at a forge (requires Steel Smithing perk, steel and quicksilver ingots and leather strips)

* Increased the value of scimitars to 70, which is ths same as Skyforge Steel swords (made sense, since scimitars do the same damage and critical damage as elven swords)

* Changed the ingot required to improve a scimitar from steel to quicksilver

* Created Redguard armored boots, gauntlets and curiass, which require steel and quicksilver ingots, leather and leather strips (boots and gauntlets have the same weight, value and protection as scaled, and curiass has the same weight as scaled but the better protection of the Elven Gilded curiass, with a value of 400)

* Added ability for Redguards to craft Redguard armored boots, curiasses and gauntlets at a forge (requires the Steel Smithing perk)

* Added ability to temper Redguard armored boots, curias and guantlets at a crafting bench with a quicksilver ingot

* Changed the stats for Alteration spells. Was 20% less to cast, 40% stronger and last 4 x longer. Is now 20% less to cast, 30% stronger and last 4 x longer.

* Remove One-Handed perk requirements for Desert Wind.

* Added Alteration perk requirements for Desert Wind.
- No perk: Weapons are 5% faster
- Novice Alteration perk: Weapons are 10% faster
- Apprentice Alteration perk: Weapons are 25% faster
- Adept Alteration perk: Weapons are 50% faster
