Yep, that's a lot of airplanes - a few uniques, but most of them go to multiple civ's.

Besides NEW art, this will be the last round of planes I add into the game... which is about all there is out there anyways.

Advanced Air Units - Version 3.0 - BETA
In addition to the ability to rebase in an allied city state, Airbases are now in the game.
You must use a worker to build the base on suitable terrain, you do NOT have to own the tile, but it can't be owned by anyone else.
**Note - Migrant Workers from American Domination Mod, will NOT build the air base. You must use a regular worker, place one with IGE to build bases**

Added the building - Military Aircraft Hangar, up to 5 per Civilization, gives the city the ability to produce aircraft quicker, and gives 100 XP per new aircraft created

ATTENTION - If you use a mod that has a modified DLL included in it that is not from modder Whoward69 (e.g. Civ IV Diplomacy Values) - The rebase in allied city states, and build airbase improvement will NOT work --- It sucks, I know, as I like using Civ IV Diplomacy Values, blame Firaxis for forcing that modder to use a modded DLL.

Fixed Ansaldo SVA animation

Added Air Rebase with Allied City States into the game, you can now rebase, and keep up to 5 planes with them.

Added Keyhole Project - Reveals all cities on map when wonder is build, requires satellites tech. Now you can attack without LOS.

I wasn't able to get the Airbase mod into the game right.. still working it.

As a workaround that, please go to http://www.picknmixmods.com/mods/f7bd99da-ca25-4c9e-a6f3-9f9719255e14/mod.html and download this mod, and the DLL - Various Mod Components, and install them manually.. you can tell your worker to build an airbase once you have discovered flight (on certain terrains). And it works!

HOTFIX 3 - Version 2
Fixed A-20 Havoc animation - It now drops bombs and fires it guns like it's supposed to.

FINALLY - Made multirole fighter/bombers possible and active in the mod. I went through every unit and adjusted the Air Interception Range for all fighters and multirole aircraft, I put the range as half their total range, rounding up (with a couple of exceptions for long range fighters) - this way you can see the animations.
Also, adjusted promotions so every air unit can now sweep, and perform Air Recon. I changed most of the fighter aircraft AI defaults to air defense, so expect the AI to use intercept much more against you if they have flight and airplanes. I gave a few of the more advanced fighters/bombers free dogfighting promotions as well.

I am hoping to put a few more aircraft in by the weekend, as well as some more polish and fleshed out Help/Strategy/Civlopedia entries that are more accurate. I am still waiting on Wolfdog for the Ford Class Carrier art as well as the B-1 art. I might look around and see if anyone else is doing some art. I am working on a carrier based helicopter, still in phase 1 of testing that design out, and I'm starting to form a rough draft plan of my next 2 mods, ships and armor.

p.s. I'm thinking about adding a wonder, or building for either airplane hangar/air base/Top Gun - something like that to give air units more xp when a certain city builds them. Also looking at incorporating the remote air strip/base into the mod. thoughts??

Hotfix 2 - fixed Rebase for B-52, updated tech's so that gas turbine engines and turboshaft require radar and combined arms. Updated Rafale, Eurofighter and F/A-18 to be true multirole fighter/bombers. They are bombers that can now airsweep and intercept. Changed SR-71 range to 75, hopefully will reduce crashes. Included some lost art into VFS. Did NOT change the F-4 Phantom Requirements for Gas Turbine Engine - I make all units release like the real world, it would break too many other mods, messing with Tech's like that.

Enjoy - Report more bugs to me please... And play with DX10 ON if you are going to report a bug with the SR-71 crashing the game.

Fixed Sukhoi PAK FA T-50 Animations (added more countries)

Fixed SU-25 and Eurofighter rebase - still need to increase sight/recon range of those fighters

Fixed MiG-15 and F-14 as unique classes, instead of generic "Fighter" class

Put mod in BETA status, probably still has quite a few bugs. Please report them.

Hotfix 3/15/2015

Fixed F-22 Production, you can now produce and purchase F-22 as USA

Removed ability to purchase units with a Civ that is not supposed to. i.e. - USA producting Eurocopter, or TU-95, etc.

Changed A-10 to Bomber from fighter

Made TU-95 immobile, like all airplanes, so it can no longer move like a ground unit.

Added F/A-18C mod to custom Civ's and in game Civ's
Canada, Australia, Israel, Switzerland, Denmark, Spain, Siam

For custom civ's Canada, Australia and Israel it was tested and worked using Canada.

**NOTE** When Colonist Legacy Australia was loaded with all of my other mods including this one, the game crashed upon load. I give no promise that the game will work, just that I added the Civilization name to the Air Unit. The game should work fine if you don't have those Civ's in the game.

Fixed helicopter movement, increased range and adjusted attack power to just go slightly above stock helicopter.

Added Saab 35 Draken - the model looks awesome

Fixed SU-27 rebase ability, it now works

Added France to F4U

Tweaked all units cost, most units attack power and range. Now it is much more feasible to produce and purchase these items, as they are not triple priced anymore.

Fixed YF-23 technology unlock - move to nano-technology

Verified that only Russia can be TU-95 Russian Bear

bumped up attack power for MiG-15 especially... really all the post WWII - pre composite aircraft.

Enjoy the mod, it is far more balanced now. Only about 5 aircraft left to put into this mod, then I will start to balance more, bugtest and go to Beta release.
