Fixes for initial round of testing.

Update: 5 Sep, 2016 @ 9:57am

SE Script changes.

Scripts now compile again, but ship is not fully re-tested.

Update: 28 May, 2016 @ 10:06pm

Script update for namespace changes (to match mk3 version)

Update: 25 Feb, 2016 @ 9:27pm

Fix for SE 1.123. IMyInventoryOwner depracated.

Also work-around for MyCubeSize enum

Update: 22 Dec, 2015 @ 10:02pm

Tested on SE1.113

Miner now expects drills to work in 'pulses' and to stop and start often while mining.

Keen increased the amount of ore recovered from deposits. This requires increased forward thrust to start the miner from a stop.

As space is now the 'advanced' area (compared to planets) and power changes have made battery drones
much less useful, a large reactor has been added to the miner. The miner is down to one battery.

Two large thrusters have been added to provide extra thrust for the extra tonnage generated by the
increased ore production from deposits.

Since the movement through the asteroids is now much slower, fewer ejectors are needed to get rid of ore.

Script Features/BugFixes:

  • Updated NAV Program; lower simspeed hit and current version
  • Changed mining expectations. Optimized for the new 'pulse' drilling
  • Increased default maximum 'mining pass' time to 5.5 minutes (from 2.5). If this time is exceeded, the miner will raise'INTEGRITY' error assuming that something is wrong.
  • 'wiggle' using gyros to break 'space friction' to get moving when heavy.
  • Try to keep exit goal and orient to it when waiting for drills
  • When in creative, calculate cargo % as if at 1x inventory. This is because mass increases and the ship needs additional thrust for the increased mass.

Updated Automatic LCD script to current version from workshop.

BP Changes:
  • Removed some forward small thrusters
  • Added two forward LARGE thrusters
  • Removed many ejectors
  • added large reactor
  • removed all but one battery
  • non-required cameras and spotlights were removed in remodel; these are mostly just for looks. I may
add them back on a future BP after much more testing and am sure that more BP changes are not needed.

Miner version 1.63

Update: 9 Nov, 2015 @ 10:28am

Fix for the change to connector where it doens't unlock when turned off.

Also display recharge/discharge state of battery correctly.

Update: 23 Oct, 2015 @ 6:02pm

Tested on SE1.105

Script Features/BugFixes:

  • Updated NAV Program; lower simspeed hit and current version
  • battery charging changes; force discharge when not connected; force recharge when connected.

BP Changes:

NOTE: SE is changing how voxels work while mining. Mining is no longer as smooth as it was a few builds ago.
I expect this to continue to change as changes/optimizations are done by Keen to prepare for planets.

    Miner version 1.62

    Update: 10 Oct, 2015 @ 6:35pm

    Tested on SE1.103

    Script Features/BugFixes:

    • Bug Fixes on power processing
    • Add support for projector on ship. Scripts go into 'construction mode' when any same-grid projector is turned on.
    • Added smarter battery recharge when in construction mode; ONE battery is set to recharge until target percentage; when all are above target, then they are each charged until 100%

    BP Changes:
    • Added Projector! Commands for projector on toolbar 6 and 7

    Miner version 1.61

    Update: 9 Oct, 2015 @ 4:43pm

    Tested on SE1.103

    Script Features/BugFixes:

    • Fix 'too complex' error that started in SE1.102 for mk3 ++

    Miner version 1.60

    Update: 8 Oct, 2015 @ 5:15pm

    Tested on SE1.103

    Script Features/BugFixes:

    • Use line # oriented detailedinfo parseing to get power info.
    • Fix 'too complex' error that started in SE1.102
    • Increased target mining speed to 1.5 (from 1.1) meters/second

NOTE: mk3 ++ was NOT updated to 1.59. The script is getting "too complex" on just the init part.

    Miner version 1.59
