Update: 25 Jan, 2016 @ 10:07am

Update:

  • Pudding quests now only grant 1 copy of the appropriate Pudding resource
  • Neptune: UA Share gain decreased to 0.33% per annexed city population (was 0.50%)
  • Purple Heart: Now +1% yields per 2.5% Shares (was 1% per 3%)
  • Histoire can no longer be sent to cities already annexed
  • Fixed bug causing Histoire's production bonus to linger in cities which have been annexed otherwise
  • AI has better logic for choosing where to send Histy
  • AI should take longer to complete its quests
  • Neptune AI flavors adjusted to be much less focused on units and expansion (originally overcompensated for perceived inability of AI to cope with the Civ's strange playstyle)
  • Dogoo Knights no longer have galloping sound effects; instead make tasty squishing noises
  • Unique dialog vs. Plutia added
  • Re-inserted missing Afraid leaderscenes
  • Uses my new NetSyncTools utility for MP compatibility
  • (Enhanced User Interface only) Histoire UI element adjusts its position if EUI is active
  • (Events & Decisions only) Four Events added
  • (Community Patch or DLL VMC only) Less clunky logic for letting Neptune settle cities
  • (Community Balance Patch only) Neptune has "unique" Pyramids which won't cause the game to crash

Update: 19 Nov, 2015 @ 7:02pm

Update:

  • Quest fixes:
    • Black Pudding Market: Should finally properly track trade routes with open borders. (Who knew that a function called IsPlayerHasOpenBorders would do nothing but return false?)
    • Operation Dessert Storm: Fixed tooltip issue which would cause incorrect objectives to appear in city quest tooltips.
  • Fixed issues with character specific dialog and dynamic civilization renaming.
  • Wish for the World: Unique traits removed, to be revisited once I update that mod.

Update: 14 Nov, 2015 @ 8:03am

INCOMPATIBLE WITH PREVIOUS SAVES

  • The methods of tracking Histoire's city location and Quest data for cities has been improved. This should fix several issues with quests suddenly moving to other Cities.
  • Neptune's UA now only provides Shares equal to half the population of annexed Cities (was directly equal to the population).
  • Quests now provide 2.50% Shares upon completion (was 3%).
  • Many quests clarified to state that the required buildings must be constructed before you can accrue progress on the rest of the objectives.
  • Quest "Caramel Center (of Government)": The Palace no longer counts as a National Wonder.
  • You can now Minimize Histoire's menu. When minimized, only the City pull-down menu will show.
  • AI Neptune should now properly use Settlers.

Update: 23 Oct, 2015 @ 2:48pm

Requires Core Files v4

  • Pudding Parlor HDD Yield bonus to Cattle/Sheep/Horse buffed to +2 Food (was +1)
  • Neptune's unique Shares mechanic is now +0.1%/turn from every Population point in Annexed cities. Multiplier to the Shares process removed. She now feels quite powerful; maybe a bit too much, but we'll see.
  • Fixed bug with Black Pudding Market quest and potential bug with Operation Dessert Storm quest.
  • Various bugfixes and performance improvements.

Update: 14 Oct, 2015 @ 11:39pm

Update:

Not compatible with previous saves

  • Histoire's energy gain increased to 2%; energy consumption increased to 3%. This means 50% more general uptime.
  • Histoire starts with 20 Energy (varies by game speed) instead of 10.
  • Histoire's Energy gain per turn is doubled while you are Purple Heart.
  • The Capital starts with a Pudding Parlor.
  • Pudding Parlor always provides the Capital with maximum offsets to Yield penalties from being a Puppet State. Yield penalty offsets to non-capital cities are still based on the city's Population.
  • You will no longer receive duplicate Side Quests until you have received every other quest at least once already. (There are currently 8 quests.)
  • Completing a Side Quest now also grants +1 to all Yields to every Pudding Parlor in your Empire. Effect is lost if the city with the completed Side Quest is captured. To compensate, Share gain decreased to 3.00% from 5.00%.
  • Adopting the Collective Rule policy now properly grants a Settler.
  • Fixed issues with Side Quests not appearing with CBP active. NOTE: Due to an exploit with Neptune and CBP using the Progress policies, it is still temporarily not recommended to play her using it, but Gazebo is working to add functionality so that this will no longer be the case.
  • Fixed delay in Histoire's panel updating when you give her a new assignment.
  • Fixed issue which would enable you to annex cities without meeting the requirements if EUI was in use.
  • Histoire panel will no longer show up erroneously when playing as other Civs if Neptune is not present in the game.

Update: 12 Oct, 2015 @ 10:42am

Update:

Most likely not compatible with previous saves, but you're welcome to try.

  • Fixed issues with Neptune's leaderscenes other than the default one not displaying when using her alternate clothes.
  • Fixed issue which prevented Neptune/Purple Heart from building Settlers.
  • Should no longer receive a notification that you have discovered Agriculture when you found your Capital.
  • Sending Histoire to a city (or removing her from it) should now properly sync across the network in Internet Multiplayer games.
  • If you cancel sending Histoire to a City while she is on her way there, her previous destination will no longer have its building queue cleared.
  • Tooltips should now properly appear on Histoire's drop-down menu.
  • Events & Decisions: Fixed issue which allowed units to learn the Nep Bull Hunter promotion by leveling up.
