Redid UI order for all icons, they should make a lot more sense now when you capture units, plus have put everything in a logical sequence.

Redid some icons, as I felt the shadow was too much.
Added winter sniper portrait.

Tweaked some of the Allies Icons that were doubled up.
Added AT weapons to the Allies initial engineer units to aid the first 2 minutes of play.
Redesigned the Command Points heavy tank system, the points spent now call in 3-4 heavy tanks at once... this should allow for a swing in the battle either way. New icons for that also.
Re-jiggled the Axis infantry upgrade weapons to be less overlapping. There is now a clearer line between close-quarters & long-range upgrades & they lock the other out.

Another big update!

Swapped out the SS skin for my new GD skin for the Ostheer. The SS skin will be used in a sister mod to this called SS Angriff, it is a few weeks away.

Added support for my new Tank Commanders mod which replaces the skins of command tanks to actual German aces skins.

Added icons
Added Luftwaffe themed portraits
Redid text for units.
Reordered team weapon icons to just have the weapons, not crews.
Redid German drivers.

And many many other little things.

Luftwaffe Angriff
Fight the enemies of the Reich with the famed Luftwaffe land forces. From the Herman Goering Panzer Division to the Fallschirmjaeger Divisions.

IMPORTANT: the mod uses 3 skin packs which are highly recommended, otherwise you will have 'naked' Germans running around!
*TIP* Disable decals when using this mod for best results. Skins do not need to be enabled, just installed. The mod references them in the code.


Main Features:
Extensive build trees for all factions.
Realistic population numbers, 6 men squads cost 6 pop points.
Increased view & firing ranges for almost all units via the optics upgrades.
All factions have 6 man squads via upgrades.
HQ upgrades cost Command Points, you expend 20 points to build tier 3 HQ.
All vehicles can all be hulled-down. Almost all vehicles have crews.
All factions have their heaviest tank also available for Command Point only purchase.
Most units have their pick up slots increased, so you can grab more in field weapons.
Many units have additional upgrades that do not lock out others.
All engineers have extensive build trees for defences. (Including Brit Emplacements & MG pits for all.)
OKW forces are elite, gain 5 star veterancy very fast. Captured weapons & tanks can go to 5*.
Most units have maximum abilities, they are very capable troops with many skills, from recycling, to build menus & smoke & sprint.
Repair pits & Field HQs; to heal, replenish, retreat & repair up near the front. Bunkers and HQ's are modified for all factions to do the same.
HQs give significant sector bonuses for healing, repair & replenishment OstHeer & Russia can build HQs anywhere. OKW can spawn men from the HQ Halftrack.
All factions have a light vehicle from game start to be develop strategy & exploit the map.
Secret HQs with uber-unit build trees can be built from light vehicle crews.

This mod increases both viewing & firing ranges of most units via unit upgrades. It also give access to the complete list of units for all factions; in addition, changes are made to the population limits of all nations to reflect the actual people numbers involved, so no more 25 pop King Tigers, they are 5, to reflect the 5 crew members. Engineer units also have access to expansive defense structure build trees. Including special repair points & Brit style emplacements for all. All vehicles can be hulled-down & have crews.

The mod focuses on the OKW units, bending them to a Luftwaffe theme. But all factions have had a major rework.

HQ upgrades take longer, creating themes of units, so early game will be much more infantry based, late game has the tough troops & big tanks.

This mod radically adjusts the experience level of OKW units, making it very fast for them to become 5-star elite, this is to reflect the battle hardened troops of the Fallschirm & HG Pnz Div troops. All factions vehicles & troops also have many abilities, the most noticeable is smoke, this radically changes game-play, allowing for hit & run skirmishes & the preservation of units. Almost all tanks can be hulled-down, so make use of this. The enemy will out number you, so you need to claw your way forward.

*TIP* All factions have a group of super-heavy tanks that can be built using Command Points alone, so this could save you, but at the cost of other benefits of call in troops & officer abilities.

This mod is designed to play OKW against four enemy forces all at once, on Expert level if you use the secret build tree. But you can play a normal game, fight against other factions than OKW as they have all the 'perks' & buffs. The Russian, US, UK & Ost-Heer factions are all balanced.

It is an amazing struggle, holding a point with two paratroopers & a hull-downed Panther, & just surviving against a ISU-2, only to face a Perishing & Tommies next wave... just like WW2, this is the army to fight on three fronts with.

If you want a real challenge, choose one of the Allied nations & fight against the OKW Luftwaffe troops. I had amazing battles where they would fling everything at me, discharge smoke, & disengage before I could kill them, only to lure me into ambush as I tried to hunt them down. I have really tuned this mod for the difficulty levels, easy will be easy, hard will have you fighting for 2 hours to finally take a pyrrhic victory. Just like WW2, you will need to go against the LW troops 4:1. I recommend you let none survive any engagement, as once they rank up, they are brutal.

Added 4th Tier OKW from SWS vehicle.
Balance of German units with each.
Tweaked crew prices & skills so that the AI doesn't spawn them so much.
Made units in German concrete bunkers immune from external fire. You must destroy the bunker to kill them.

Rework of vehicle crews, especially German. Improved weapons, redid icons. Germans now have assault gun crews, panzer crews & field crews. Echoed for other factions.

US get 155mm Long Tom artillery.
Fix dozer sherman MG... again???
Fixed error with US Captain Command Points.
Fixed Pnz4 not available for OstHeer.
Germans now have secret para HQ.
Gave MG nests AP rounds
Gave UK a Repair Yard.
Added secret bases for all factions now. All should be buildable by Humans from small field crew.
Gave US 120mm mortar & Para build tree.
Gave US a sniper.
Added para graphics to US to diferentiate between supprt para & real para.
Spiced up US officer squads.
All vehicle crews can merge with other units.

Tweaked the medics & engineers of all nations. Armed them, so they can give a little bonus defense to points etc.
Added capture poiint & gain more resources to IR halftrack & 251 halftrack. Make them a little more useful.
Added radios & take detection to most German halftracks & Jagdpanzers to aid them in their anti tank roll. It gives a little more sight, armour & health.
Fix German engineers animation lock, a bug in the base game.
Added a Bren & PAIT upgrade with cold immunity to most British infantry.
Fixed drop Bren icon.
Added Pnz 4J to OstHeer roster.
Added Eng spawn from base sector bunkers for US & UK.
Fixed issue where capture team weapons could build the secret uber unit spawn building.
All vehicles given ejecting crews so they can recrew new tanks with experienced men or fight on on foot. Survivabilty % depends on type of vehicle. Low for those that were "Tommy Cookers"

Fixed German concrete bunkers not letting PaK 40s not fire.
Added AA option to most AA weapons, so they can just kill aircraft.
Fixed German Scout car - missfiring aerial graphics.
Set invincible aircraft not to be AA targets.

Went back on a weeks work to cure the spawn buildings bug.

Have added graphics for many more weapons to most troops, all German troops can carry MP44s that are dropped by the Fuel/Munition improvements. Except units that use the MP44 infrared. You seem to be only able to have one or the other.

All tanks now have hull down graphics.

OstHeer & Soviet spawn buildings can hold troops to shelter from bombardments.

Axis command tanks have special crews with MP44s.
