Update 1.1.4

  • Increased Spawn rate slightly based on feedback and testing. Should now have about a 10% chance of getting a Prototype mod late-game.

Update 1.1.3

  • Improved the Headshot ability. Headshot now shows the +100% Crit modifier, and adds damage to Crit based upon weapon tier. (+2/+3/+4). 4-turn cooldown. (Might be increased to 5-turns, depending on feedback.)
  • Customized and improved Prototype Laser Sight ability. Now called Sight Target, adds a 15 Aim bonus for 1-turn, 2-turn cooldown.

  • Now completely removed the test code, causing Prototype upgrades to drop at 100% from Early-game forces.
  • Reduced drop chance from 5% from mid-tier Aliens and 10% from Late game Aliens and ADVENT to 3% and 5% respectively.

Update 1.1.0

Added first iteration of Prototype weapon upgrades. These can be found on late-game ADVENT and Alien corpses, as well as extremely rarely on Mid-Game Alien and ADVENT forces. Some skills will change later.

Upgrades:

  • Prototype Laser Sight - Grants the Marked ability which adds 10 aim to all allies firing against the target.
  • Prototype Scope - Grants the Headshot ability, which guarantees a crit. (Crit chance does not currently show, but ability does work.)
  • Prototype Hair Trigger - Grants the Rapid Fire ability.
  • Prototype Stock - Grants the Ever Vigilant ability.
  • Prototype Expanded Mag - Grants the Hail of Bullets ability.
  • Prototype Auto-Loader - Unlimited free reloads
  • Prototype Repeater - Grants Chain Shot

NOTE: These upgrades cannot currently be added to SMGs. This is planned for a future update.

Balancing of early-game weapon upgrades:
-Basic Laser Sight increased to +10% crit.
