Sword upgrades are now mutually exclusive with other sword upgrades of the save type

Research reports display the item produced instead of the month

Legendary items now have legendary affixes 100% of the time
Drop rates have been altered. Early game drops have 50% chance to have no drops at all.
Only Sectopods and Gatekeepers can drop legendary gear now, and even then only 50% of the time.
You can no longer put two of the same upgrade type on the same item.
