Update: 11 Jan, 2017 @ 10:59am

  • Attempted fix for 6 or 12 staff slots appearing instead of whatever is set in the settings.
    • I have not been able to reproduce this so this is just an attempt at fixing it.

Update: 3 Dec, 2016 @ 4:02pm

  • Added option for SPARK Units to gain fatigue.
  • It is disabled by default.

Update: 13 Nov, 2016 @ 11:05pm

  • Fixed a bug where 3rd - 6th staff slots were not working correctly.
  • Added a panel to the living quarters showing fatigue times of valid soldiers so you don't have to flick back and forth to the armory over and over.
    • This panel will only update every time you leave the living quarters and come back. It does not update live as you slot soldiers.

Update: 13 Nov, 2016 @ 12:12am

  • Staff Slots (some changes will require new campaign)
    • all staff slots now available immediately
    • number of available staff slots now changable in the settings (maximum of 6)
      • This number can be increased in the middle of a campaign but not decreased
    • wounded soldiers can no longer use fatigue staff slots
    • fixed all bugs (fingers crossed)
  • Balance
    • the first time a soldier is fatigued in a campaign, they will be fatigued for ~4 extra days
    • default fatigue time lowered from 9 days to 8 days

Update: 14 Sep, 2016 @ 3:50pm

  • Resolved an issue where non-humans would not recover from fatigue.
    • Thanks to RealityMachina for the problem/solution to this.
    • Untested. I don't have any saves that let me test this. Tell me if it works.
    • This would resolve the issue with SPARKs not recovering from fatigue. For thematic reasons, SPARKs will still not gain fatiuge as before.
    • Will work with existing campaigns

Update: 19 Aug, 2016 @ 1:14am

  • Minor bug fix with the last patch for existing saves.

Update: 18 Aug, 2016 @ 11:22pm

Minor balance patch:
  • The most fatigue you can now get from 1 mission due to fatigue scaling is 16 days (down from 22).
  • One staff slot is now unlocked after finishing the second mission. The other is still unlocked from taking a fatigue injury.
    • If you are loading an existing campaign, the first slot will unlock the next time you return from a mission.
    • Unlocking behaves weirdly when loading a save while already playing a game (ie. not from the main menu). If you expect a staff slot to unlock but it doesn't, restart the game and load to before it unlocks and it should work correctly.
  • Changed the default fatigue severity from 0.4 to 0.5.
    • This change will have the most impact on soldiers with either 4 or 6 HP because of magic (math).
    • This is a placeholder fix for long fatigue wounds on impossible difficulty. I'm still exploring better alternatives and this will go back to 0.4 when I find one I like.
    • If you use MCM, you will need to change your severity yourself (if you want to. Only reccommended for impossible).

Update: 9 Aug, 2016 @ 5:11pm

  • Added staff slots in the living quarters.
    • The staff slots will unlock after the first time that a soldier takes a fatigue injury.
    • There are 2 staff slots in total with no way of getting more. This number may become an ini option eventually but it has been fighting me.
    • Staffing a soldier in the living quarters will make them recover from fatigue 50% faster.
      • Note that 50% faster recovery will result in 2/3 of the fatigue time. 6 days will become 4 days, etc.
    • Staff slots will require a campaign restart. Existing campaigns will continue to work correctly but you will not get the slots until you start a new one.
    • Only fatigued soldiers can be staffed in the living quarters.
    • Soldiers are lazy and will not leave the living quarters when their fatigue is gone.
    • Staff text can be localized.
  • Further future proofing to make sure modded SPARK units don't get stuck with fatigue.

Update: 1 Aug, 2016 @ 2:21pm

  • SPARK units from the "LW mecs as SPARKS" mod will hopefully no longer be stuck with fatigue.

Update: 30 Jul, 2016 @ 8:36pm

  • SPARK units that have prexisting fatigue will have it removed the next time they go on a mission.
  • I don't lie to you in the ini comments any more (hopefully).
